If there were a T-Shirt or hoodie that was subtly CoH/V then I would be very interested. Something along the lines of the arkham asylum inmate t-shirts I have seen about.
Saying that it would have to be utterly fantastic to make me actually get one rather than just say; they look cool.
Crey Biotech T-Shirts. And possibly Gunslinger hats.
Though a range of Action Figures would be cool. I'd kill for a Zeus Titan Figure.

I have almost the whole selection of CoH comics... it was very sad to see their demise and had they been collected in to tpb format I'd probably have them too. I believe it was a serious misjudgement to drop the comic, but I can understand why they did. Matt Miller was doing the lion's share of writing/plotting in order to maintain continuity, but spread himself too thin. They should have given some red guildines to a proper writer and gotten a dedicated team in and let Top Cow just handle the publishing.
I don't have the Lord Recluse statue but if there were a decent range of signature character busts, a la Bowen for example, I'd be very interested in collecting the set. That they don't produce that kind of stuff is a major failure of their marketing team I'm convinced but frankly the current statuary isn't good enough quality to sit on my shelves with my other stuff. Yes maybe I am being elitest, I spend up to £200 for a quality statue, so I'm not going to pay £35 for something that looks [censored] to go next to it.
Clothing? Well I'm not such a fan. I have some marvel Tee-Shirts and I might oneday pick up an Arachnos tee but Id probably be more likely to go for something like an A1 bomber replica with the Arachnos symbol on the back (I know, anachronistic but hey, sue me )

I'm always open for peculiar garments to wear to LRP events in OC time. Something like a fleece, perhaps a hoodie would be perfect, but a T-shirt would work. I was actually looking at the merchandise a day or so ago and thinking "no, that sucks, no good at all."
I actually think the Forumite stuff is better than the professionally produced merchandise from NC.

Green T-shirt with "Reformed Troll" on it?
Branded Carnie-style corsets with "Property of V da Vore" written in small letters down the back?

I agree. I'd quite like a CoH hoodie - perhaps with a logo of something more than / other than the Statesman's star?

Perhaps, but I've have to see one before I could make a judgement. The concept is certainly appealing, and I can see why they did it - I'd certainly be tempted if it was available to CoH!

My free CoV mousemats are starting to look worse for wear, I'd like new ones of those, maybe a mouse to go with the one for my laptop but I'm not going to swap my media mouse on my PC for anything less than another media mouse

I've taken a look at the forumite shop for the first time ever - it was quite entertaining, but it's very 'in-crowd', and is obviously more for your own enjoyment, rather than your average 'CoH' branded product.

While true, it's not entirely the case. Things like the Debt cap are pretty generic CoX jokes. The Level cap is just about a generic MMO joke. And there's stuff like the Chest slider T-shirt. Yes, there are a few in-jokes, but actually a fair amount of the stuff in there is very generic and CoX related.

I'd like to see non-trashy novels, but I doubt NC has the budget to get in profession writers.
Sorry Raven, I think my meaning came out wrong.
I meant that my personal preference was towards more picture-based, character/logo showing T-shirts, over computer/mmo/community jokes. As in - I would rather someone saw the shirt and appreciated the image, rather than needing the joke explained because they're not part of that world Apologies if I was not clear

True but you dont have to know what the image is to apreciate it and talking of images i was allways tempted to get this and this on a shirt just because i like the image not because its CoH related
That Kheldian image, 'art of war', is fantastic, Mess. Yes, that's the kind of T-Shirt I was thinking of. The kind where someone can like the way it looks, without having to have prior knowledge, but may still enquire as to where it comes from.

Sorry it is taken so long but I tried to get NCsoft Europe involved and they were not interested citing IP problems, I tried to get Moderator after Moderator to pass on my proposition to Brian Clayton ( then Head of Marketing) at NCsoft. Some promised to get around to it, to date - nothing.
With the acquisition of I.P (Intellectual Property) of the City of Heroes licence now owned 100% by NCsoft/NCwest there would now be no problem with shared copyright with Cryptic.
I have heard they are not interested in my helping bring you merchandise because they are working on their own range, but to be honest - I wouldn't hold your breath.
Therefore I have transplanted the ideas, changed Icons and Imagery sufficient to skirt the I.P and given them a City of Kittenz 'spin', so if you can make the leap of imagination to an alternative universe where everything is Kittenz - I hope you'll be pleased.
The work is 50-60% done and things like the Mastermind bag are looking spectacular.

I picked them up at the CoV anniversary meet in Brighton, literally picked them up, they said take as many as you want. Didn't realise how long it would be before I'd get a chance at a good replacement. I especially like the roundness of them

I'm not sure if this is something that gets discussed, but I was curious - what do people think about the current CoH merchandise?
I'll start outside of the NC store. You've got the City Of Heroes novels (two published, the Rikti War story never coming into print), and of course, the City of Heroes comics.
Now - let's move to the NC Store. There's the CoH/CoV blue/red star/arachnos T-shirts, the Lord Recluse statue (of course there used to be a now rare Statesman one), and an A1 poster for the Good vs. Evil pack.
My question is: If there was more, would you buy it, and if so, what would you be looking for? (Note, this is not a ranting post say 'there's not enough stuff'. I'm just curious as to what merchandise people would be interested in).
Guild Wars has posters, hoodies, t-shirts, IPod cases, badges, a mouse, etc.
Lineage has t-shirts, posters, key rings, and in the limited edition game, a statuette (of course, there were heroclix in the CoV boxed set).
I'm sure people want to say "who needs merchandise?" and "I don't want a CoH mouse" - but please, that isn't the topic that am hoping to discuss. I am simply curious - would you like to see other items of merchandise, and if so, what kind of things would you be looking for?
