True...but apocalypse has high volumes, doesn't sell at odd levels, and they had already posted it on WW. So...I still don't understand this particular thread...........

Its even more unnecessary since if you slot parry with defense 3 stacks will have you at softcap in pvp zones wich is easily attainable if you have enough recharge. My attack chain is BU -> HS -> Parry -> Disembowel -> Parry -> HS (BU ends just in time to fit two Head Splitters in) -> Parry -> Rinse and Repeat. Hack is only thrown in if hasten is down.
The OP never mentioned anything about PvP. I assumed that he was going for a PvE build so a high recharge build will do a lot less for him then passive defense would.

In the 3 posts that the op has there is no mention of PvP
  9. Aim for 45% defense to all positions around 50% global recharge bonuses and as much regeneration and recovery as you can get. Then post up your build and please make use the search feature, there are a lot of great threads that contain a lot of useful information.

    DM/Shield Build.

It won't be possible to obtain permanent hasten without significant sacrifice to your defenses. Also I'd make good use of the search feature....here is a link to my current build.

    http://boards.cityofheroes.com/showt...=Dark%2FShield

It has soft capped defense, around 160% recharge, siphon life heals for over 250 hp, average regeneration and recovery. I'm sure I could increase those but I'd have to sacrifice fire blast and fire ball.

Also, I'd also like to see some actual build ideas for the combo DM/WP, so I'll get some ideas.

    Much obliges, and thank you!
3 slots in Quick Recovery and 2 in Stamina depending on your build.
  12. I have 5 L25 Luck of the Gambler: Increased Recharge/Defense on my Dark/Shield and I am sitting fat dumb and happy at the soft cap to all positions. It can be done!
  13. I've never really understood why people say they're selling a recipe/enhancement? Why not just post it up minus the pomp?
  14. Wow that is awesome, congrats! Now give them to me, thank you. I'll expect those tps reports on my desk this afternoon.

I believe so, it's been a while since I passed a pylon in my spines/dark so I'll have to go test it.
  16. Your build seems to be a mishmosh of set bonuses. I would suggest reading the shields guide. It will teach you the basics of what you need to learn in order to achieve a higher level of survivability.

Once you've done that, look into getting more defensive set bonuses so you can raise your positional defense percentages to 45%. That is the magical number at which your survivability is at its highest.
  17. Unfortunately Fire/Willpower will perform significantly better the electric/electric. You're going to want a lot more accuracy in Chain Induction 22% will not be enough.
