Quote:Never change, CF.Stalkers get the vacuum set already. Sure its called Kinetic melee......to further amplify thier sucking.
Look children, Rogues work in other games. Healtards work in other games. They dont work here because of the mechanics. Give it up already. Play something that works, instead of giving in to your inner 12 yr old "hurp a derp, i iz hiden adn won shoot a dude. I'z AWESUM" and trying to make things that are squares fit into triangles. -

Quote:Because there's no way a Super Strength Stalker would have Assassin's Blow.Jab
Punch
Assassin's Blow
Rage (I think it would work! if not build up)
Placate
Haymaker
Knockout Blow
Hurl
Footstomp
Do you see any reason why this couldn't happen?
Seriously.
It'd be Assassin's Smash. -

I usually take the Axe on any character that has a primary damage type that is heavily resisted by those ghosts (Lethal, Smashing or Neg. Energy). I just REALLY hate those ghosts.

Quote:In what sense?I don't believe a "make sense" argument really works. Especially in this game.
That Ice Armor shouldn't have to have ice?
That Stone Armor shouldn't need to have all those stones?
Or maybe that Fiery Aura doesn't need all that fire?
That is, effectively, what you're asking for, from an in-universe point of view: A set that uses certain elements to provide it's protection but actually doesn't use said element. It doesn't make sense.
Quote:Some auras are really bothersome to some people.
In the case of the former, I'd be right behind you. But I've yet to hear of any of these possible issues. At least not since the change to the Sonic Resonance set.
In the case of the latter, I'd say good luck on leveraging that into a compelling argument.
Quote:It isn't. Anyone arguing against it just wants to ***** about SOMETHING and don't really care what it is.

Because that wouldn't make sense?
Minimal FX are only options for the powers that having no visual marker makes sense for.
Invulnerability? So your skin is as tough as steel... why does it have to be double rainbow (oh my god!) shiny?
Willpower? So you're pretty stubborn about not dying... why are you glowing?
Super Reflexes? Dodging stuff makes you ripple? I dunno.
But Ice? That's all about coating yourself with protective layers of frozen water.
Stone? Protecting yourself with rocks.
That kinda stuff is pretty difficult to not see. -
I had a devil of a time getting that badge on my Ice Blast/Cold Domination Corruptor.

I've had no issue with Elec Control other than how incredibly awesome it is.

My new Elec/Elec Dom has been making do with Ninja Run as his Travel Power.
With Inherent Fitness, I can scrunch in CJ and SJ, now have a spot for a -KB IO and can grab Electric Fence to increase my controls a bit. It's definitely turning out to be a major boon for this particular character.
Dunno how I might change my old Grav/Psi though. -

Quote:You do realize that a 25% RES buff on a "low-mid level tank" that was DEF based would practically double that Tank's survivability, yes?A low-mid level tank without either buff is fine... solo. In a full team set to +2-3 they are blood stains on the floors and walls unless they have really good slots and enhancements and two good healers spamming the crap out of their single target heal. Late game with IO sets and self buffed to the soft caps it doesn't matter.
I never said useless, I said crap. A 25% damage reduction is barely noticeable alone. You can not deny that a 25% damage resistance buff on a character already at 60% damage resistance is a hell of a lot more effective. A team with good powerset synergy is tremendously more effective than a team with very little synergy. -
You mean because of the lighthearted nature of a show that is filled to the brim with all sorts of in-jokes and yet not only manages to wring every bit of cracky continuity from the source material but still remembers that it's all for fun and doesn't take itself too seriously?

Like BrandX, I like having physical copies more than digital copies of things. And I actually like dictionaries. And all sorts of reference books. They're just handy, plus I find it fun every now and then to crack 'em open and look up things.
I'm a bit sad to see the OED being put to rest, but I can understand the reasons behind the decision. -
This... this entire conversation has gone weird and I'm not entirely sure who's saying what or why.
But it is entertaining on an, "ugh, nothing else to do," level, so, please, continue. -
It could also be interpreted as the Ghouls, after seeing one of their comrades die have become angered. The adrenaline rush has caused them to ignore some of their wounds.

Not really seeing much of an issue here either. It's entirely consistent with how the EATs are unlocked:
Get a Hero to 20, unlock Khelds.
Get a Villain to 20, unlock Soldiers/Widows.
Get a Praetorian to 20... no EAT to unlock. -
Quote:Eat a few purples, sap him and his drones with your powers then whittle him down at your leisure.I am having trouble at level 20 with Arbiter Sands on my Elec/Elec Dom. Any advice? Domination doesn't seem to hold him and I don't have paralyzing blast so I can't stack that with tesla cage and anyway it still wouldn't hold his 2 pets too. I've taken a few dirtnaps on this one so far and was hoping someone had an effective Dom strategy against this bugger.

Quote:Huntsmen have 3 less potential pets. There is really very little difference between the two. I don't really know why you only call crabs "pocket masterminds" when huntsmen only have one less potential pet.
A Crab can get 6 pets: 1 Patron pet, 2 Disruptors (Summon Reinforcements) and 3 Spiderlings (Summon Spiderlings).
A Huntsman can only get 3 pets: 1 Patron and 2 Disruptors.
Since Crabs can get as many pets as a Mastermind has minions, that's why they're called "pocket masterminds."
