Ghoul love!

I know, I'm a little late to this, but I love the Ghoul special power... now that I figured out why it happens.

PHASE 1: "Man, they take a long time to die."
PHASE 2: "Huh, so when they're flailing around they have green waves coming off 'em."
PHASE 3: "Wait, that green wave healed his little friend."
Phase 4: "... THEY'RE STOPPING IN THE MIDDLE OF THE FIGHT TO GRAB A SNACK !?!!?"

It is not only a really excellent power from an rules-law standpoint (herd THIS, monkeyboy) but it's disgustingly wonderful from an RP standpoint.

Someone said "Good thing ghouls don't rez" and I was like "They'd never finish. 'Still hungry...' "

So you think you're a hero, huh.

Are they ghouls after your own heart?

total kick to the gut

This is like having Ra's Al Ghul show up at your birthday party.

Is that what it is? I've been wondering what it was supposed to be.

Having Vengeance and Fallout slotted for recharge means never having to say you're sorry.

It could also be interpreted as the Ghouls, after seeing one of their comrades die have become angered. The adrenaline rush has caused them to ignore some of their wounds.

I watched Warcrow get eaten by them last night while my Broadsword/Fire Scrapper injected one of those +Recovery Temp powers (I love them so much) and went to down on the lot of em,

Once I cleared the map and ambushes I must have dragged Warcrow to safety as he was back in the Resistance hub when I got back there.

I love fighting them now (unlike the bloody Clockwork)

I consider them to be just barely above true zombies. As such, I doubt they'd really care too much when one of their colleagues dies.

Plus, isn't the 'grr, you killed my friend!' thing what Vengeance represents?

Sort of like when a buzzard dies with his buddies nearby? Hey, a corpse is a corpse.

"How do you know you are on the side of good?" a Paragon citizen asked him. "How can we even know what is 'good'?"

"The Most High has spoken, even with His own blood," Melancton replied. "Surely we know."

That defeat animation has so many possibilities in videos... now if I could just design Revenant...

The previously mentioned death animation is the icing on the cake, right?

to TO THE END!
Villains are those who dedicate their lives to causing mayhem. Villians are people from the planet Villia!

No the mechanic's spinal fluid was the icing...the guy who used to work the register was the cake.

This still doesn't explain why the intelligent Ghouls in the Neutropolis tunnels heal each other when they die. Those are very much not mindless zombies.

They say that the ghouls are really failed AE farm Maniac Slammers that were sent to the underground after suffering defeat.

Yep, and it is nice to see knockback have some real use. Was loving Propel while killing these.

If you confuse one while dying does that mean *you* take a bite?

The Ghouls, Arachnoids and Snakes should go bowling together.

Do they heal you if they die confused? From what I've seen in mixed-enemy missions with Ghouls, they don't heal other factions even if they're otherwise friendly to each other, so I'd be kinda surprised if they do. (Plus the problems with confusion ending when they die.)

I can neither confirm nor deny that I receive healing when a Ghoul dies near me.

Nomnomnom...
