To give her credit, in the Tin Mage II she is standing there at the maginot line of defenders. But You know that she'd be the one to not only fire the first shot, but rush the portal. Even if the Praetorians were only coming through with a white flag.
That sounds like a great idea for a MA arc, stop Fusionette from messing up a peace treaty being brokered between our world and Praetoria.

    Vampire Movies

How about a vampire move so bad that I had blocked the fact that I had seen it some 20 odd years ago until I watched Oancitizen's review of it the other night?

Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you Andy Warhol's Dracula
  5. Elec/Psi Dominator

Pretty Much Anything/Force Field Master Mind

As said above, Regen and Willpower helps a great deal.

Illusion controllers can be endurance friendly if paired without a heavy toggle secondary and even then, certain secondaries such as rad and kin have tricks to help get the end back.
  6. How about adding the concept that because the broadsword is such a massive weapon that the sheer force of the blow "weakens" the enemy until they have a chance to recover?

You can add an illusionary damage component on top of the existing damage to all of broadswords attacks to simulate this effect.

    The future sets

Forget new travel powers, we just need this as a back option.
  8. I could probably remember what I have on my account if my household had only one account. With multiple accounts it can become tricky remembering which one has what items purchased if you don't buy everything for every account at the same time.
  9. You can only have one Freespec at a time. There is no limit on the number of Vetspecs you can have on a character (except the vet level limit).
  10. It was discussed in another post. Apparently, they "front-loaded" September's points for everyone. You should start earning new points on your October subscription date.
  11. The trouble is though, this game doesn't have the ability to reflect character stats such as strength, intelligence, and the like. Just because a set is named Super Strength doesn't doesn't mean that anyone not taking the set can't have great strength.

A brute would put out higher damage and you can use that to depict the strength but I don't agree with the fact that only those with super strength are capable of herculean feats of strength, this game doesn't work that way.

And like I said earlier, some of super strengths powers do not reflect Heracles. Rage might represent him loosing his temper the the crash doesn't fit with the myths. The same with foot stomp and hand clap, they seem out of character to me. Heracles used a bow, he didn't hurl hunks of concrete. He used a sword and scythe on occasion but his main weapon was a club, plain and simple. Besides you have to posses great strength to defeat the enemies we fight with just a hunk of wood.

So if I were making this concept (remember, this is only my opinion) I would either use war mace or reserve the name and wait until I see the weapon options and animations for the upcoming titan weapons set.
  12. Tough call, I wouldn't use shield, there aren't many depictions of him with a shield.

Quite a few images and statues show him with a club, so war mace is a possibility. Rarely see him with a shield so I'm not sure if I would use that set. Super strength is also a possibility due to him strangling the lion of Nemea, but some of the attacks and their animations don't feel right to me, especially foot stomp and clap.

If I was making the character, I think I would pick a willpower war mace tanker, but that's just me. The most difficult part will be the costume, most of the classical images of Heracles show him nude.

I believe these gentlemen would disagree with you.

For my pick I would like to nominate The Men who Stare at Goats. I thought this would be an amusing movie. Alas, I was proven wrong.
  14. Not exactly the same, but have you looked at the eyes option under the new Volcanic aura?
  15. Has anyone checked to see if you can access the Galaxy echo using the new zone teleport power?
  16. But I like Charleston Chews, especially frozen.
  17. Depending on your concept, several of the wings can be used as part of a tech battle suit. I have one character using battle armor that is insect based so he has the insect wings and a sonic/sonic named Eagles Cry who's battle armor used both the rocket boots and the Valkyrie wings. It really depends on what your concept is.
  18. I still think the dumbest thing in the entire episode was their justification of the bite strengths. How deformed would a vampires neck/jaw muscles have to be to get to the same bite strength of an alligator?

For the zombies, I would of gone with the Romero remakes: great speed and more cunning than the old zombies. As for vampires, I think the most "realistic" example are those found in the movie Daybreakers. No crazy speed or superhuman abilities but they have the intellect of humans.
  19. Watching right now on Tivo and all I can say is bwah? A zombie has the bite force of a Rottweiler and the vampire has the bite force of an alligator (because they're the "Apex predator" don't ya know).

So apparently if you are infected by a vampire your bite force will increase from the human average of 170 lbs. to 1,723 lbs. I don't think viruses work that way.

    edit:

I also find it interesting that they went with what the called the "modern", 30 Days of Night type of vampire but used the original Romero style zombie.
  20. Main reason that I'm asking is because I'm changing my lvl 20 AR/Traps into either a Beam/Traps or a Traps/Beam once Freedom goes live. I've heard that defender traps is superior due to the modifiers but I really don't have enough corrupter experience under my belt (mostly play blueside) to fairly judge the archetype.
  21. Which do you consider better?

Since I normally solo or play with two other friend max, I'm trying to decide which one is actually easier. Namely, is the corrupter base damage and scourge worth more than the defender's solo damage bonus + higher assault numbers?
  22. Keep origins but get rid of the origin specific enhancers. Do we really need 25 different of each type of enhancer to potentially drop?

Same exact format. Except SNL didn't have Statler and Waldorf.
I'm going to have to disagree with you there, I consider SNL to be a sketch comedy show with a musical act while variety shows normally contain multiple musical numbers from both the guest star(s) and the regular cast. It's very uncommon for SNL to have the guest host sing or the musicians appear in a sketch.
