I made one level locked at 25 for recipe rolls and I have to say it's great and might make one to level all the way. I'm able to be at the soft cap and still have decent damage.

Actually now that I think about it, I believe that a scaling PvE elusivity effect might be a larger benefit for scrappers than just throwing more def at them.

The trouble is trying to decide how much would be enough. The worst offenders in the game (in my opinion) would have to be DoE and Nemesis. How much extra defense would you need to offset two quartz pets out or killing 3 or more Nemesis Lt.'s and the mini-vengeance that is cause with each death?
I'm not trying to be snarky, I'm honestly curious at how much extra defense you think we would need in those situations and why we can't counter it by using our tier 9 or popping a few purples. I know that I carry a few for those situations, even though all my positional defense is above 50 and I found room in my for I slotted elude for when it really hits the fan. -
For thematic reasons I have already decided to make a Nature/Water Blast on Guardian and have already reserved the name. I just need to decide if I want defender or a corrupter and which will give a greater level of enjoyment.
For those who have tried the set on beta, which one would you recommend and why? -
Let's see, already planning to change my Plant/TA to a Plant/Nature, reserved the name and costume for a Beast/Nature, and have the name reserved for either a defender or corrupter Nature/Water (haven't decided which way to go yet).
So yeah, shut up and just take my money already. -
We need to replace Lusca in IP with a new giant monster for this week and I know just the thing.

I was watching an episode of Angel a few days ago and had to rewind the TiVo when I saw T.J. Thyne (Hodgins on Bones) playing a Wolfram and Hart employee at a Halloween party.

Quote:And you would be correct. I remember when this came out.hm for some reason I always thought they came out with a hobbit movie long time ago. But overall lot of movies are being made in threes or more.

I think that 3 films might be a tad excessive for an adaptation of a book that's 30% shorter that the shortest book in the LOTR trilogy (going by word count). What concerns me more is the controversy over the frame rate and the reactions over how it makes the film look "flat".

Couple of quick comments:
First, the initial power in all the blaster secondaries are designed to keep foes from entering melee range, either an immobilize or knock back. I would change it to keep the set in line with the rest of the blaster secondaries. Knock back would probably best the best choice.
Second, it seems that you have an over abundance of self-buffing powers in the set. Change the recovery aura from a toggle into a PBAOE requiring a to-hit check, move lotus drops (your only AOE lower) down the list, replacing either Power Boost or Focus Energy and make the tier nine a heavy hitter, like Soaring Dragon or Golden Dragonfly.
I think a setup like this is closer to the blaster secondaries we already have:
-Katana Manipulation--
1. Forceful Slash
Damage: Minor
Recharge: Fast
Type: Single
//Foe Knockback//
2. Sting of the Wasp
Damage: Moderate
Recharge: Fast
Type: Single
//Def. Debuff//
3. Gambler's Cut
Damage: Minor
Recharge: Fast
Type: Single
////
4. Build Up
Damage: None
Recharge: Long
Type: Self Buff
//Self Offense+, Self to Hit+//
5. The Lotus Drops
Damage: Moderate DoT
Recharge: Slow
Type: PBAoE
//Foe -to hit//
6. Flashing Steel
Damage: Moderate
Recharge: Moderate
Type: Cone
////
7. Focus Energy
Damage: None
Recharge: Long
Type: Self Buff
//Self Offense+, Self Defense+, Self to Hit+//
8. Transfer Chi
Damage: None
Recharge: Long
Type: PBAoE
//Self Recovery+ Regen+ Foe Recovery- Regen-//
9. Golden Dragonfly
Damage: High (Extreme?)
Recharge: Long
Type: Single
//Foe Knockup, -Def) -
Why wait to lvl 50? I would make common io's from drops starting at lvl 30. They are stronger than s.o.'s wiki link.

Mass Confusion has a longer range and will not aggro mobs. It is also a sphere centered on the target while Seeds of Confusion is a cone and will aggro any mobs that it doesn't effect.

You can also try Big Lots, I found copies of the game in there before for either about $5.

Just a quick update, I decided to spend $30 on another 2 gb of memory. It arrived yesterday and I can now run two instances of CoH without turning down my graphic settings so I consider it a wise investment. This should keep me going into the new year when I should have enough saved up to replace the whole system.

No the one I'm talking about is a 2007 American indie film. You can find a decent review/synopsis of it here (warning, MAJOR spoilers).

For those of you that think mortality is a terrible prize I recommend you watch a movie called "The Man from Earth". It's also about an immortal without the fight to the death thing and the fact that he's been alive for about 14,000 years. In order to avoid raising suspicions you need to move every 10 years or so otherwise people will start to notice that you don't age. Even if you didn't have that problem how many times would you have to live through seeing everyone you care about dying while you remain exactly the same before you wanted to live a normal life or felt your humanity slipping away?
-
I don't think you can, because you don't actually own the mission so you won't get credit for mission completion.
-
If you think your going to out level a contact before you finish their story arcs you can always turn off earning xp under options.

No problem Father, the info helps. Do you think spending $50 will improve my performance, currently my system uses about half it's available ram on system processes, which makes sense with what you just said. so wouldn't doubling my memory to 4 gigs give me more for the game at least until I have the funds to replace the whole aging system?
-
I'm running the 32 bit version of Windows 7 Professional, and until I find a new job, replacing the MB and CPU is a bit out of my price range, I'm just trying to give myself a little boost for about a half a year until I have the funds to redo the whole system.
Didn't know that more memory would be a waste with the 32 bit operating system, this article seems to suggest otherwise (3 gigs per 32 bit process so 3GB per game instance if running two instances of COH?) -
Trying to decide if it would be worth the money to upgrade the memory on my 6 year old computer.
I currently have 2 gigs of Mushkin PC2-6400U DDR2-800 ram and an ATI Radeon HD 5700 Series video card.
I'm trying to decide if I should get 4 more gigs from the same manufacture and have 6 gigs or if I should get 8 gigs and currently replace the whole shebang.
I'm using an Asus M2N32-SLI Motherboard with an AIMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core running at 2.6GHz and can currently run full ultra mode without major lag in normal play but need to set everything to minimum when I dual box. any suggestions on the memory? -

In answer to the OP, if they were to give us player controlled animals, I picture them doing a cross between how kheldians currently operate and the DC character Beast Boy. We would learn how to transform in to different animals as we level and those forms would have different attacks and powers that could be improved upon.

So what you're (the op) asking for is missions similar to what warshades and peacebringers have now?
