There is no way currently to invite someone offline to a super group.

There is a difference between the resources available to the MPAA & RIAA (after all, they sue grandma for half a mil every other week or so over mp3 pirating of a song or two, remember? :P) and NCSoft. Furthermore, I do believe most of the overseas efforts of those two 'AAs is concentrated on piracy through physical media - vs. the wholly digital format of RMT.

Because that's how the system is set up - previously (other than the pre-order codes, and the CoV ones did it this way too) there never was any benefit to having the same code on there twice.

I'll find the guide - essentially, copy the installer (COHUpdater.exe) to the desktop. Run it. When it asks for a location, change it to the new drive. Let it *start* (barely) the install, so it creates the folder... then move everything over.

It's nothing to do with addtional accounts - what PhillyGirl is saying is that her other account used to have a special title - and that title was pulled. When they did that, they did it "wrong", apparently, leaving her a special title of " " vs. the standardized "Recruit" or "Legend", etc, according to post counts as listed in the board FAQ linked to just under the board header.

why dont you simply global ignore him to get his handle name, then unignore him and send a tell to his handle. When he logs back into the game, he will see your message and you should start up a dialog.

Also, the game is working as intended. That is exactly how SG's work. It was probably a poor decision to blind invite people to your SG. You never know what your getting.

That's been a horrible way to do it for several issues now.

Simply /getglobalname CharacterNameHere will get you CharacterNameHere's global name.

Inversely, /getlocalname @Global will get you the name of whatever character (but not server) @Global is currently playing.
