How do I move City Of Heroes to newer/larger drive
10Gb? ... ouch.
I'll find the guide - essentially, copy the installer (COHUpdater.exe) to the desktop. Run it. When it asks for a location, change it to the new drive. Let it *start* (barely) the install, so it creates the folder... then move everything over.
(At least as I recall.)
Edit: Billzbubba's guide to moving COH or installing test.
Yeah 10gb, but beggars cannot be choosers Only here for a day or 2.

Don't see that any of that is necessary....just cut/paste over.

[/ QUOTE ] Well, you are both right. It might be simpler to just copy/paste it over, THEN use the above updater copy to let the installer point the registry to the new directory where it will find the files and let you play the game. Copy/pasting alone will not work.

But if you copy/paste, make sure to delete the coh.checksum file.

Negaduck: I see you found the crumb. I knew you'd never notice the huge flag.
I'm on my sister's OLD computer and the main hard drive is getting full. How do I go about moving the Cit Of Hero files to the larger drive?
Right now the OLD drive has 5% space left on a 10GB drive. Loading times and just starting the game takes forever.
Will moving it help?
