Enhancement diversification.

It stands for Enhancement Diversification. Years ago you could six slot a power with the same enhancement and get the full benefits from them. It was changed so that now you get diminishing returns, for the most part slotting a power with more than three of the same thing is a waste.
It's not universally hated either, I personally think it was one of the two best things to happen to the game. Inventions being the other.

No, but since they keep up the paragonwiki.com one and not the wikia one, you can be more sure that it hasn't been edited by people looking to be trolls, and paragonwiki.com doesn't hit you with ads.
And if you prevent them now, they won't go to it later when it's about something that has changed.

[/ QUOTE ]I did not say that THAT PAGE ON WIKIA is out of date. I said that WIKIA (as in, the CoH wiki hosted on Wikia servers) is out of date and not getting updated with any regularity.
If you look for anything new, wikia won't have it unless someone has copied it over there (yes...they do not do the work, they just copy it from us if they want the information).

Not even remotely. A lot did hate it, many more are indifferent, and a good number actually are in favor of it.

Cherokee, the player who originally set up the wiki, TonyV, moved it to wikia when he couldn't give it the attention it needed. Generally (though not always), the people who dislike a change in an MMO are people who got used to it the old way. As new people come along and don't have the chance to experience the old way, the overall feeling usually moves towards the new setup. Ask some people with less than 6 months vet how they feel about PVP to get an idea. If they've tried it, they may just surprise you and say they liked it.

You could have done that before. You chose not to. Nothing ED did changes that fact.
Had the game launched with ED, I don't think it would have been bad, but doing such a drastic nerf after the fact still rubs me the wrong way. I'd probably be less annoyed, but folks saying that they were "forced" to play a certain way is BS. IF they chose to play for effectiveness then good, I did too, but I wish people would stop acting like they were forced.
The City of Heroes Community is a special one and I will always look fondly on my times arguing, discussing and playing with you all. Thanks and thanks to the developers for a special experience.
To my understanding it is universally hated by older players and was implented early on. As a newer player, um...what is it? Still don't know most of the terms and such in the game.
