    COH on Windows 7

If you can get it running on the minimum settings then you can turn them up one by one until you're running on something that looks decent and your comp doesn't protest to. And, as others have said, turn of compatibility mode as well.
One of the things that seems to do wonders is use Tweak to change the resolution to a windowed setting, instead of the (IIRC) default full screen.
  2. Which is why invader is a level 1 accessible accolade

If I remember correctly, it's counterpart is the TF one, although that also has the costume piece. But it's not available until... 35?

Only clockwork code is the new Praetorian one.
  4. If you have used it, it's like doing a second build - you pretty much start at the same point.

If you haven't used a second build yet, you can buy going to a trainer after you get to level 10 (or higher) and choose "Choose my build" I think it's called.

(Impervious Skin doesn't 'stack' though, so a different mechanic is being used.)

I'd turn on Force of Nature and see how the numbers change. Pretty sure the 6.98% you see is the Adjusted Targeting set bonus only.
Yeah, Impervious Skin is a standard global, Aegis is... a hybrid of a proc120 and a global (set bonus) special-type IO.

I don't go out and intentionally try to intercept stuff though, that's just kinda rude.
I noticed that someone bought a recipe which, other than this mistaken buy, was topped out at 5 mil and had a bid in sight that was 500,000, for 280mil.

Don't feel too bad, that person you intercepted apparently didn't buy something for 100x what he was aiming for.

And if he was transferring 30 mil, probably didn't take him too long to earn it back.

As for the Adjusted Targeting 7.5% status resistance bonus, it maybe affected by AT modifiers too.
Last I heard, normal set bonuses shouldn't be affected by AT, but I could be mistaken.

So while the ninja stuff might be a part of it, I doubt it would be the entire booster.
It would be Natural - notice no two consecutive SB's have shared DOs.

Not his fault if they got what they asked for (although with Ouro now, it doesn't really matter)

    Just get rid of it.

EDIT2: Meh. I'll just continue to ignore the comments in the User CP page. Trolls have at it.

The rep system here is better than the old stars. For one, you can rep someone, then rep them again later. In that old system, if you starred someone, that was it, that was what they would always have from you.

It is annoying, at times. I tend to tag threads that are useful/informititive if they haven't been, and I've seen it where there are no useful tags, and you can't add any because of the fact that it's nothing but "bacon, bacon!, beggin strips, banana's rock, ice cream is yummy", etc, until it's filled the tag allowance for the thread.

But when it's used right, it is extremely helpful. For example, want to install test, or move your install? Search for the tags "test server" and/or "install" and you get bill's guide.

A game that only one side gets to play is not fair. It should go.
And that's why they are anonymous - so that kinda thing cannot be done, so people can't foam at the mouth for be neg repped.

If you have an issue with the comment (like your Protector hater) if you get a comment from it, do what I do with comments that violate the rules - click on the link to the post that gave you the rep, and REPORT YOUR POST. In the box, state you are being harassed in your rep comments. Hopefully the guy(s) end up banned. But let the mods do the punishment.

It's not our place to punish people here.

Get rid of it, it's just a source of bile and trolling.

    (EDIT)
I'll point out that I have no problem with people enjoying it. If you like it, good for you. I don't like it, and I don't like being the unwilling target of your "fun" so I turned off the system. My problem is that it doesn't turn off. I still get the comments.

It has nothing to do with the thickness of my skin, you DO NOT have the right to get your jollies at my expense. Suggesting that somehow I am in the wrong for not wanting to put up with the abuse is ridiculous. It's victim blaming.
The webmaster? Don't, the webmaster doesn't have anything to do with the moderation of the forums.

Simply report the post attached to the rep comment, and in the explanation box, state you got a vulgar/harassing/stalking/whatever rep comment for it.

EDIT: And to those who say the rep system is the mods being naive, the only naivety on their part would be in thinking the trolls would be smart enough to know that the moderators can track the comments to their source.

Power Pools, unlike regular sets, appear way more often and can be used by everyone. Even something as common as Fire Control or Willpower is only used by 2-4 ATs at best. Hasten, Flight, and Aid Self are usable by everyone. While it's no big deal to add color tint to Energy Melee and call it a day, I doubt most people would be happy if the only thing done to Hasten is a color swap.

I expect the devs to pull a rabbit out of the hat and give us a lot more customization options for pools than they did for regular sets. I see epics getting the same kind of treatment that regular sets got, but I expect/hope that they'll look into giving us alternate animations and graphics for various power pool powers such as Hasten, Super Speed, Teleport, Tough/Weave, Aid Other/Aid Self, and some other options. The devs should be able to pick up on what powers are taken the most and devote some extra time to those. I doubt they need to worry about providing a dozen different options for Invoke Panic, but Hasten would probably be at the top of their list.
BAB already said that Power pools, total, would equal the work of about 2.5 regular power sets. He might even have some of it done, but at the moment the game isn't really set up to handle us having custom info for powers we are not locked into.

    GR Advertising

I doubt that you would see TV ads for any MMO in the near futture other than wow because with their freakishly large plater base, only they have the money for repeated TV Adeline what would be needed to be effective.

  19. There are two types of cards.

One is the Time Cards, these add subscription time to an existing FULL account - an alternative to paying via paypal or credit card. NCSoft has various amounts, but for the 30 day cards they run aprox. $15 USD. Comes in DVD boxes.

Game cards are a small-space version (looks like a standard gift card with an attached piece for hanging from pegs - not in a box. These can be used to create a full account. As a bonus, they come with a free 30-day Jetpack (from the time the code is entered) for all characters on an account. However, you can also use this as a 30-day time card on an existing account, granting the 30 day jet pack as well. Averages about $20 USD, and this is what I've seen at my local 7-11.

Also, from cityofheroes.com go to the support site, and try asking there. They might have the answer about nearby retailers.

It's because the programmers are busy. Pretty much the rest of the powers customization (Pool powers, etc) requires new tech (to handle the fact you don't select them at character creation, and can respec out)
