Another cool thing is that it has a much higher line length limit than the chat window or bind files - that means that you can, among other things, cram much more text in a single line than would be possible. Make it too long, though {tried it with a really, really, really, really long command}, and it'll crash your client when you try to execute it.

Just a quick note to put this in context - it's considered rude to invite people to a team without asking first, even if they have their LFT flag on. Thus, most team leaders will send you a tell first to check if you'd like to join them and wait for your reply before they send the actual invite. If you can't send tells, you can't reply, so they'll usually assume you're not interested. If you put a comment in your LFT window pointing out that you're on a trial account, they'll know that you can't answer them and send the invite without expecting a reply first.

Why bother, though? Regeneration goes into quadruple digits and recovery into four hundreds. The overall rate of recovery/regen in Rest is capped by... well, caps.

Ah, that I know. There's also some bits of it in Daedalus' arc, but it's all still unimplemented as to where branching missions are concerned.

    Still, we can dream.
  11. Let's be honest here - at least one third of recipes, and I'm probably being generous, is worthless to the players and pretty much cannot be given away on the market, with pre-SO-level recipes getting the shortest end of the stick in the whole deal.

Thus, I propose the ability to use the invention table to consume a number of recipes of same rarity {i.e. uncommon or rare} into another, random recipe. That might help bridge the cost gap between the "wants" and "no not wants" recipes, as unwanted recipes would get an increase in demand, if nothing else then at least as lottery material, while the wanted recipes would increase in supply from being created by the heaps of unwanted recipes.

An additional possibility might be creating a random rare recipe from a certain number of uncommon recipes - the exact number subject to balancing, but presumably in the ballpark of [total number of available uncommon frecipes]/[total number of available rare recipes]

    Several caveats;
Store-buyable recipes are obviously exempt from any kind of combining due to their infinite supply.
The level of the received recipe is based on the lowest-level component recipe. Thus, using a Lv10, Lv30 and Lv50 recipe will result in a random Lv10 recipe.

I pretty much thought of this at work so I make no claims of its usability, but offhand, I can't think of any game-breaking faults with it. Any thoughts?
  12. Short answer, no.

Longer answer, still no. Procs have a set effectiveness that's independent of other enhancements or archetypes. Damage procs will deal increased damage as you gain levels, but endurance and health procs will always grant same results {health, in this case, scaling to a portion of your maximum HP}.

You're referring to Hero Corps. Unless I'm mistaken, Freedom Corps is formed by Statesman, and Liberty is heading the Longbow arm of FC.

Yep, but what if you fly? It's easy to manage line of sight from a single plane, but if you go high enough, you're going to get a panoramic view of your surroundings, unless the whole area is surrounded by objects that match or exceed your maximum altitude.
  16. Nope, PvP still have their respective entrance requirements.

Whether or not the finished product will still be like this I have no idea, though I do hope it works that way.
I... don't see it happening. As you approach the zone edge, the zone design would have to also "overlap" a hefty chunk of the adjoining zone architecture to maintain a convincing illusion, or save resources by slapping together a simpler backdrop the kind you can see behind war walls in Paragon. One other option might be line-of-sight management via architecture, but that sounds difficult like hell to pull off.

If memory serves, Full Auto has a x1.3 accuracy multiplier. That, combined with its range and cone area of effect makes it fairly hard to miss with.
  19. Hey there, and welcome to Paragon. Since it doesn't seem to have been mentioned, the game has a server-wide help channel, where players can ask about any sort of game-related stuff. You can talk in it with the /hc command - there should be a tab named "Help" in your chat window by default.

1} As it has already been mentioned, click "Menu", and select "Chat Handle". You can only do this once, theoretically. However, on a few occasions when global servers got borked, players received another global rename token.

2} Heroside, you can go to Peregrine via the Vanguard DPO {V icon on your map} - simply go through the portal, then turn around and go through it again. The direct route to the Firebase Zulu is a bit risky, but you can detour through the relative safety of the water and climb to Portal Court once you're close enough. As for the starter money, I would recommend Architect Entertainment. Finding a good arc to play is a bit of a hit and miss, but on the whole, you can redeem AE tickets for salvage at a pretty good rate, and cash that salvage in on the market - earnings from a few missions can easily set you up with enough influence to cover regular enhancement cost well into the Lv20-30 range.

3} Yes and no. All mission arcs and badge missions are available through Ouroboros, which you can access at Lv25. However, most contacts also have a fair share of "padding" missions, some of which grant temporary powers, which cannot be accessed once you've outleveled them. If you want, you can control your leveling progress via the "Earn XP/No XP" setting in Menu/Options.

4} & 5} have been answered better than I could.

Again, welcome to Paragon City. If you need some help in-game, you can contact me at @Quinch.
  20. The price was a fixed -gets tackled by a ninja-, the base rate for a full shot + background.
  21. On the whole, I'd buy one too, but I don't see the offer happening. Lifetime subscriptions are for the early stages, when the company needs to quickly raise some cash to offset the development costs, but it's a mid-to-long-term loss compared to the subscription model.
  22. Well, we all get a power at Lv2 which caps your recovery and regeneration.

Of course, its recharge is murder.

Failing that, I could also get behind increased effectiveness of endred enhancements. Remember, the best you can do with any amount of enhancing is to halve the cost.

  24. A couple of weeks ago I commissioned the talented Leah Keeler for a piece of Quinch waiting for a train.

This is the result. Initially I was a little wary of the price tag, but the end result is definitely worth it, doubly so considering the endless stream of nitpic-, er, the occasional clarification I made regarding some details.

You can see the full-sized piece by clicking on the picture above. Another bit of thanks goes to StormVyxen who pointed me in the right direction. The bad news is, now I have no excuse to keep putting off work on my VirtueVerse page.
  25. Ditto; extra points for hosporting to my personal base for inter-zone travel.
