Co-Op Horde Mode with NPC GRoups

How about a Co-Op Horde mode adventure with the NPCs vs Heros and Villains

Each wave would change with what spawns and gets Progressively harder. Players would try to outlast the horde as a group and would need good teamwork.

Two of my favorite adventures in the game are a lot like Horde mode with the Terra Volta Trial and the Red Caps.

I would like to see Horde mode use some of the less used groups like the Mooks and Malta Group. You could even have Horde mode for player bases if the game would support it without lag for the larger groups.

A kind of survival scenario would be an interesting challenge for CoH to have, it could be a kind of end-game content for Lv50s to test how long they can last against increasingly overwhelming odds. Or just to test how well teams came cope in surviving waves of ambushes over and over.

I'm digging this idea. I would kinda like to see it as an arena of sorts (think Terra Volta as OP said without all the crap inside) just a big room with a few doors.

Hate to draw a WoW comparison here but one of the high lvl dungeons (violet hold for those familiar) is kinda like this except it doesn't get harder per se. It's basically waves of baddies with three boss fights and which boss you fight (except the last one) is randomly picked out of 6 (if memory serves).

I'm guessing a paralel to Gears of War 2's horde mode.
50 levels, although really 10 levels, which spawn different enemy combos. After level 10 it resets the spawn cycle, but increases the difficulty.

Hmm...so-so on this one. Not bad, but not too much of a draw for it.

Sounds fun. My two cents:

Every wave is generally an increase in difficulty setting. Might as well use it's diversity a bit more.
E.g;
Wave 1- (+0, 1)
Wave 2- (+0, 2) All the way up to Wave 8 (+0, 8)

Wave 9- (+1,1)
Wave 10- (+1, 2)

I think you get the picture? Maybe it could be an arena event and here's a little extra I'm going to add:

It could be set in the Matrix Room! It is essentially a training simulater (A la X Men Danger Room)

Sounds perfect like that... edit: as long as your difficulty settings would still effect their lvl... my tank can easily take on +0/+8 like it's nothing whereas my blaster might have issues.

Now we just have to wait for the devs to realize how awesome of an idea it is and make it happen.
