Shouldn't Radiation blast be energy damage, because radiation is energy?

Anybody else got a sprinkler? I want to help rain on a perfectly fun parade, too!
Anyhoo:
My favorite scrapperlock moment actually didn't involve a scrapper at all. A friend and were playing a Kinetics Defender duo. We'd stack the team with damage dealers and be off. This particular evening, we were inviting anybody that wanted to join, and this included my favoritest Tank ever:
"I don't pull. Pulling wastes time. Just keep up."
He would run in, Taunt, get double Fulcrumed and then outrageous buttkicking would commence. He'd even "taunt" the Blasters for not wading in too, or for bothering with stragglers. It was missions after mission of Speed Boosted insanity. Good times. -
Beast Run on my Crab is one of my favorite things. Crabwalkin'!!
-
I like to slot Speed Boost with 3 Run Speed IOs, so my teammates can get to the bad guys that much faster.

I never get why people do this, except maybe to delete a never-used lowbie to make room. What does it prove? I honestly am agog whenever someone says this. To me, it's like spending a couple of years sketching, then tossing your portfolio on a fire because you feel like doing watercolors. -
So we're getting a gladiator arena and a movie theater? Zwill, I need to ask you something:
Do you like gladiator movies? -
Quote:<trombone> WAH WAHHHHH... </trombone>Revenge of the 90's Gritty and Stupid Heroes
1. Manticore decides to not allow anyone else to protect Statesman's daughter at a meeting of villains. She is killed of course.
2. They then decide to only have Ms. Liberty protect a hero doing a mental probe on a mind controlling villain. The hero is possessed of course.
3. Then kill off the possessed hero
4. Then kill off statesman -
Quote:It's as silly as thinking that an alternate world with many differences wouldn't have one more difference instead of using the same exact technology as developed by a group that doesn't exist on the other world....
Your "it's silly" comment was wrong the second they told us Praetoria was a different world with an alternate history for the past 40+ years.
They really NEED different technology.
The "Praetorian Chaser" just looks like they stole a longbow chaser and called it their own(never considering that there would be questions and confusion if longbow ever brought their chasers through the portal), or Praetorian authorities are stupid enough to think that it is their own simply by giving it a different coat of paint when it is really completely an enemy vehicle.
It's more silly to imagine reasons for it to be the same as the longbow version with a different coat of paint.
Also, Praetoria is severely lacking in any vehicles, especially ones that make sense.
The only vehicles there are the cars that are all the same as Primal earth, the same old tanks and the same old fighter jets and helicopters in that one room in certain mission maps. None of those vehicles fit the "Praetorian theme and style". The helicopters and fighter jets and tanks don't even have a Praetorian Loyalist color scheme or logo(not sure whether the tanks have a logo or not).
It's just....wrong.
Edit:
I mean, just look at the Rogue Isles and Arachnos. That's very different from Paragon City. You can look at the Sky Raiders for another example.
It's rather obvious that Praetoria could, and likely should, have very different vehicles designs and aesthetics.
Boy, I'd love to have the devs use their limited art resources on goldside stuff. The thousands of players that spend the majority of their time there would really appreciate a better ambiance instead of stupid things like new costumes, SSA mission scenery, market-bought powers and other such wastes. -
I've been trying out this idea, and I have to say:
There are some wildly funny arcs in the one-star dustbin, whether they are intentionally so or not. I've been enjoying myself immensely. Thanks for the idea! -
I like Option #1. It's less distracting while reading.
-
I vote for Leaf-Nin. Frisbees > alles!
-
When I get home, I am buying one of these SO FAST. I might even buy one for a friend or two, just so we could always port right to missions.
Does it only work "in zone"? -
I'd love to see a Melee/Support AT - an AT that can get in there and fight and aid their teammates while looking sharp with weapons or kung fu kicks.

The swirling electrons aura really finished off my namesake character.

Quote:.... really? Man can't just type what he's used to typing after a few years (Paragon Studios,) which is the current development house OF the game, without it being "revisionist history?"
Sheesh.
No, he can't. Without saying "The studio that was to become Paragon Studios", Matt is a worse propagandist than Goebbels, Chairman Mao, Steve Jobs and the man who put the "bomp" in the "bomp she bomp she bomp" ... PUT TOGETHER. -
The very smallest change for me would be if they encoded all player names to be in either all caps or no caps at all. Or even for every name to start and end with "xXx". I'd lose it.
Besides, how would I tell the doofuses from the rest? -
-
I bet with enough interest, people might be willing to sponsor the races with some inf or recipe prizes. I'd certainly be willing to chip in.
A player acting as a starter, wearing a checkered costume and firing a pistol power to begin the race would be nifty. -
Quote:*laugh* How is putting 'no' in all caps and tossing on a thumbs-down not a complaint? Not a complaint about staff, it's a statement of fact about the weapons pack. It may be coming soon.
You guys are precious. SO much so, I might have to GG my every comment for a week. -
I was hoping that Staff Fighting being released would FINALLY curb the epic whinging about this powerset... but I see that it only took three replies to show me just how naive I am.
