  1. Yeah. Team Teleport is perhaps, the single most useless power in the game. It functions pretty much like your regular teleport travel power, except anyone on your team within 30 feet are brought along for the ride. It's much easier just to use recall friend once you get to your destination.
  2. Are you certain the buff was still active by the time you completed the mission? Many of the day job rewards (including this one) are auto buffs on a limited timer. If you don't complete a mission before the timer on the buff runs out, you get nothing.
  3. Yep. My main character, Punchin' Judy, still experiences this bug as well.

    While it is still extremely annoying, the auto re-sync "fix" is a vast improvement over the early incarnation of the bug's first manifestation, where the only thing you could do to fix it was try relogging, rezoning, (both of which only had a small chance of success) or find someone to teleport you. (This seemed to be the only guaranteed way to fix the problem.)

    The /sync command was also a nice addition, but this quickly become old, having to retype every. single. time. you zoned.

    Given that this bug seems to have only affected a small number of players, and only a small number of those players characters, and the current "fixes" that are in place for it, I'm guessing that finding a solution to eliminating this bug once and for all has become extremely low priority.

    If it's RP you are interested in, you might find find more of a home on Virtue. It's been dubbed the "Unofficial Role Playing Server". Its also one of two most highly populated servers at any given time.

  6. My thoughts on the new badge count badges..

    There seems to be alot of talk of how necessary these are. Honestly, how necessaray is any badge that doesn't unlock a cool new accolade power, costume part, gadget for your super group, gladiator to play with (if you're into that sort of thing), etc...?

    Everything else is just fluff. But hey, they are fun to collect. The count badges have just as much a place in the game as all the other badges, an award for achieving something.

    As for the badges and the badge count on the info screen being redundant, I disagree. To me, they serve different purposes. I view the badge count as more of a personal tool for tracking my badge count. I'm generally surprised when someone else bothers to click on my info to access that information for themself.

    The badge count badges, I view as a tool for those who want to advertise. I don't generally go around checking the badge count of every person I meet on the street, However if someone is sporting the "I earned 1,000 badges" badge title, I might be more inclined to take a look.
  7. You will eventually have the opportunity to pick up whichever power you didn't pick, albiet very much later, at 54 months.

    There is another temp power choice at 33 (Blackwand or Nemesis Staff)

    54 then gives you the choice between the 2 powers you didn't pick previously.

    Even if those are the only new badges that come along with Going Rogue, I expect earning all the obtainable villain badges on my current hero will keep me busy enough for awhile.

    Just hit 698 badges today, finishing up my last remaining day job. All done with badges now on my part. Until future vet rewards, the Valentines day event and Going Rogue bring with them what they may, that is..

    This may be how they are *supposed* to work. But in my experience the functionality of them in game do appear to have an element of randomness/bugginess.

    The only reliable method of getting the badge for this event , that I've found, is to agree on a "winner" ahead of time. Anyone who is not said winner can simply exit the map when the match begins.

    You lose no reputaion for being defeated.

    I believe reputaion gained is dependant on several factors. The amount gained is higher if the person defeated has more reputation than you. Reputation gained is also spread between all the members of your team. I don't have actual numbers. Perhaps someone else can provide a more detailed answer here.

    It's cumulative. But you lose reputaion at a rate of 2 points per day.

    As far as no more being added, I'm not so optomistic. I'm fully expecting at least one Praetorian Day Job to be added, not to mention the need to get the exclusive opposing faction Day Jobs after switching sides.

    Actually I think I just solved it in my head...
    They could easily(?) just decide which side you are on depending on which side you entered the zone from.

    For example:
    If you enter RV from Atlas, you'd be put on the Hero's side, but if you enter RV from Grandville, you'd be a Villain, regardless of your AT or current alignment status.

    That could work.

    It's my understanding that Vigilantes are still considered Heroes and Rogues are still considered Villains. Even though they are both free to visit the zones of both sides, Vigilantes are still restricted to using Wentworths and Rogues, the Black Market.

    I suspect the same will hold true in PvP zones. Vigilantes fight on the side of Heroes and Rogues on the side of Villains.

    In order to claim the reward you must select the "Veteran" tab from the drop down menu.

    Actually, that's probably a bad idea. In my experience PvP and badges don't mix well. Your only purpose in the zone is to obtain badges. PvPers only purpose in the zone is to... well, PvP. They can and will interfere with you.

    Posting in thier forum will likey only encourage this.

    Swerve out of the way? They don't do this now either. I have, however, seen them on multiple occasions swerve to intentionally run into me.

  22. No. There is nothing additional gained from Fabricator. It's just another badge to add to your total.
  23. The first possibility that springs to mind, is that you may be experiencing the effects of the Purple Triangles of Doom.

    As a contoller facing AVs, these are something you should be familiar with. When these are up around an AV they add 50 magnitude of protection vs. Hold, Knockback, Confuse, Repel, Disorient, and Fear effects, making most of your status affecting powers almost useless for a period of time.
  24. Yes. Go to your user CP. Open the statistics tab. There is an option there to show all your posts. You can also click on your name in this or any other thread in which you have posted and find the same option.
