Can't multiple KB attacks landing at once add together for a higher mag KB?
[/ QUOTE ]Yes, but they'd have to hit in the sam server tick, which is extremely unlikely.
With only one KB IO, you'll still get knocked around a bit, but it will be an uncommon occurrence. For regular enemies, I think it's limited to basically Fake Nemesis (who will also hit through the mag 8 of two IOs), and Storm Summoning Longbow bosses, which I think will stop with 2. (Note that while Storm Longbow can knock you over with Gale, Air Thorn Casters can't... they've got a weaker version of Gale)
Of course, there's also custom critters, I think a few AV/GMs, and Rikti Dropships. (Of course, Rikti Dropships can knock you around even if you've got strong mez protection)
[/ QUOTE ]
Out of curiosity..what's the magnitude of the KB caused by a Rikti Mothership bomb exploding?
[/ QUOTE ]Judging from Red Tomax, the Dropships' bombs, the UXBs, and the explosions from the grates on the mothership are all mag 300, non-resistable.

No wonder those ones in that RWZ mission sent me flying around the map.
Wheeeeeeeee! -
This stuff is going straight on Professor Backfire.

You might want to stop using the coloured text, it's hard to read on this forum due to the background colours. Sorry, but it just makes it easier.
And teaming for prestige will be more profitable than soloing- yes, you'll get about the same, but on a large team you'll be defeating many more enemies much, much faster and earning more overall.
There's a number of ways to add a little more to your haul: Do Ouroboros arcs or Task Forces, since being Exemplared earns more prestige; get the Monitor Duty Day Job, which gives a bonus for every mission you complete while it lasts. -
At this point, you may as well upgrade to a full account. It doesn't cost much for a month or so, consider it an 'extended trial'.
-
Get outta Atlas Park as soon as you can, I'd say avoid the AE until you're officially bored with non-AE content. You'll grow bored of farming much sooner, trust me.
If you're playing on off-hours, you can try a different server. (making new alts is quick and easy, the game encourages it) Justice, for instance, has lots of Australian and other off-peak players, so it's more likely to be populated 24/7 by someone or other. -
Threatening violence in real life impresses absolutely nobody on the internet.
Come on and fight me. You can pay for the airfare to Australia, and hope I don't bring a chair to hit you with. -
I tend to warn people before petitioning them.
I've a feeling that one might last a bit. A lot of players might not recognise the character. -
I wonder what will happen if different players cast the same buffs in different colours at the same time.
-
You need:
-A headstrong, fearless leader who makes mistakes but overcomes them with teamwork and heart
-A quiet, brooding foil who challenges the leader when he makes mistakes and is always right beside him in combat
-A gruff but helpful veteran player who has the others in awe
-A brainiac with an IO'd out build who's done this TF a dozen times and knows all the best tactics- or thinks he does
-A slightly unhinged, wisecracking comic relief who's the only one trying to pay attention to the story
-A newbie tagalong who's never done a Task Force before and is likely to be the first one to hit the ground
But in my case, generally when I'm putting together a Task Force I couldn't afford to discriminate by build if I wanted to, I'll take what I can get.
And you know what? Those ragtag teams always succeed in the end. -
Very, very, happy.
But I'd be even happier if we had PICS! POST PICS DAMMIT! -
You don't need to nuke it from orbit, just stab Posi and you'll have all the splosion you want.

I thought it'd be the other way around. -
I'm pretty sure we all have a looong list.
Was it I11, or I12 that was meant to be 'All Your Base'? -
Thing is, I don't have any other beacons for some reason.
Eventually, I might save up my Prestige and expand to the two-porter room. It's not like there's really much else worthwhile to do with a base, especially on villainside. For such a detailed and major part of the game, you really think they'd finally get the revamp they desperately need.
Well, might build a Mission Computer as well. -
A lot of people (like me) never liked powerlevelling, and suffered through the Meow blitz where the game was briefly completely overrun by powerlevellers, and it's left us pretty bitter towards the Architect in general.
But if you're creating and putting effort into an actual story arc, that guy should very well have known better. Farm 'arcs' never go beyond one mission after all. He's an idiot. -
And yeah, the Magic Pack is probably the handiest to start off with.
The Cyborg pack is pretty fun though. Self-Destruct never ceases to amuse. -
...you gotta admit, Lord Recluse is a pretty damn badass looking villain. He's the pride of my (very small) Heroclix collection.

I recommend choosing the magic booster with GvE - Very snazzy (and not so specialized) costumes with a nice little buff power.

I think you mean the AE edition. -

Wow - you haven't played in a zone where Freakshow are just hanging out in the streets? let me guess - MA all the way, right? ...
... You may want to go research what is outside the MA a bit - ParagonWiki is your friend. There is lots more to see than the inside of the AE Building in Atlas Park.

Get off your high horse, legend.

Get off your own. The guy is level 50 and he's asking about things you can't avoid stumbling across if you play the game normally. MA PL n00bs are trash, period. And this is why.
Edit:

How do you know this poster didn't just get the message in game that said "Kill Freaks, you can find them in Crey's Folly."
[/ QUOTE ]
Try reading his post. He made it obvious that wasn't the case.
[/ QUOTE ]
I, uh, just wanna get this straight...
You are saying that people that power level thier toons to 50 in the Mission Architect are "trash" and then capping it off with the word "period" so as to signify that there is nothing they could ever do to not be the less than human garbage that they are?
I mean, wow. That is some hate.

Let a Tanker on the ITF who doesn't have any toggles wipe your team enough times, and you'll be singing the exact same tune. -
Bases in general are in desperate need of a revamp.
Last I heard, they tried and ended up making it WORSE. -
The Giant Robot universe: Everything is the same, except everyone has a giant robot. Or in some cases, IS a giant robot.
Vampire Gerbil Universe: Nuff said. -

Removing money from the game helps keep inflation down.

I lol'd. This must explain why the market is balancing itself.

Well, without it, it'd be worse. -
Don't forget, Captain Mako is a freaking PIRATE on top of everything.
If I have a favourite, it's probably Infernal. He's a total badass, and on top of that he's a demon-binding good guy. -
Note, the smallest telly room only has ONE location. I decided to pick Port Oakes since all but one of my alts have a travel power, and the other one's already been to GV.

The gun is motivational, all MM based characters carry one, because sometimes you have that henchman that is so stupid, that the only way to educate him is to put a bullet in his head.
Like when after having failed you for the 100th time, he then waits until you are in the middle of your monologue and interrupt's with the stupidest question...
so you sigh,
take out you your pistol,
casually check that it is loaded,
say I'm sorry what was the question?
and a soon as the fool opens his mouth you put a bullet in his head.
You then promote the person that reports to that guy and give him the task of cleaning up the mess his predecessor left behind. (including the body)
You then smile and continue you monologue as if it hadn't been interrupted.

As much as he looks and sounds like Vader, Lord Recluse sometimes laments that he can't Force Choke people.
