A little AE help

Hey there,

Well I'm fairly new to the game as of I am still checking out the game with my free 14 day trial,
but as I was questing I came across the AE,
there was a whole walk through on the thing,
but when I got to access the computer to look at missions or create one it does nothing.
Like when I hover my mouse over the computer I get the blue hand on it, but when I click I do nothing,
and If i click the green portal I get "you cannot do that".

Why can't I play ? D:

Thanks

Trial accounts can't make arcs with AE. You have to have a paid account.

Ahh okay, thank you for your quick responses

It's one of the trial restrictions, to make sure people who make money selling in-game currancy can't use AE to advertise (Same reason a trial-account cannot INVITE to a team although they can join one - we had spammers inviting people them spamming them with "BUY NOW 10M 93.99!"). You can still "use" the AE - if you are teamed with others using it.

Ohh okay, that makes sense, I plan on getting a paid subscription, I just wanted to clear that up and make sure nothing was messed up on my account haha.

If you plan on getting a paid sub, go ahead and grab it now - the time stacks, and it lifts the restrictions.

To start with, I recommend the GvE pack - the powers in it are nice utility powers you can get frequent use out of.

Also, you can buy various Retail packs and "Stack" them if you haven't used that one on your account before, getting the goodies and free month (saving five bucks if you were wanting the goods anyway) - so you can get GvE, then Mac retail, then AE edition... etc.

Yeah I was going to get the GvE,
my friend has that one, which is cool.
Then maybe before long I'll get the AE edition,
I appreciate your help.

I recommend choosing the magic booster with GvE - Very snazzy (and not so specialized) costumes with a nice little buff power.

I think you mean the AE edition.

Yes, I meant AE, not GvE. No choices on GvE.

And yeah, the Magic Pack is probably the handiest to start off with.

The Cyborg pack is pretty fun though. Self-Destruct never ceases to amuse.

Forget clowns at your kids birthday party. Send in the cyborg, hit self-destruct and watch 'em scatter!!!
