The devs don't really approve of farming, note that most non-AE missions that became popular with farming have been given timers or made harder, and AE missions speak for themselves.

That said, there's probably a certain enemy group or two that you may be effective against regardless of mission.

Been plaing my Ice/Axe Tanker and finally hit 30- and now I want an Ice Brute. Ice Melee from what I hear is one of the faster sets anyway, -slow effects can't be as bad for fury building as say, the Disorient effects of EA or knockback from several other sets.

That said, openly showing prejudice of any kind, whether it be sexual, racial, ethnic or otherwise, is also a petitionable offense. It sounds like either someone was being a jerk or your friend got confused for being prejudiced. (hopefully they didn't actually show any prejudice)

You can also play AE missions without PLing (gasp!). Although if you're feeling lazy, since AE missions are almost never kill-alls you can stealth them easily for quick and easy XP and tickets.

'Elitism' is pretty much non-existent in this game. You have to be more or less terminally retarded for the average decent player to consider themselves better than you. It's anything but expected to have a load of top-rate gear, and most of the time other people won't even be able to tell anyway. Immaturity isn't too much of a problem- in fact, I'm 19 and feel like one of the youngest people on the board! Everyone's old and crotchety instead.

First and foremost, the game is about fun. You can create any kind of character you want (as long as it's not a copyright infringement, we don't need another lawsuit), put together a team out of any combination of ATs and powersets (and coming next issue, any level), and basically do whatever you want (within reasonable limits, like don't be a jerkface).

As for 'raids', this game doesn't really do those. There's the Hamidon Raid, which these days is done mostly for novelty value, and the Mothership Raid, which has mostly costume piece rewards (the best rewards) and has all the strategy of a Zerg rush.
