How do i lvl on redside now days?

Ive recently made a new stalker (mainly for pvp), stalkers are hard enough to lvl even b4 and now with AE. But lately redside is so dead i cant even find enough lowbies to make a team. How are villains supposed to get anywhere...pray? :P

ive been soloing but its just so slow

Just run missions from your contacts as always.

Not too long ago on Guardian, I rolled up a Stalker for the first time, and had no problem leveling him (He even handled Lt. Blechly (an early on EB) real easy. He got to 12 pretty fast, and has only soloed, never teamed. I haven't played him since though, just because I'm caught up with leveling my Warshade.

My only advice is just to simply be cautious and don't bite off more than you can nom.

He's a bit of a lone wolf.

Stalkers are incredible soloists. Now sure what your primary is, but my dark melee stalker leveled extremely fast.

For building teams, use the search tool, join an active SG, talk on global team-building channels and keep an eye on broadcast when you're in zones.

im rolling an EM/WP stalker. and i dont have a problem soloing im just looking for faster lvl's. and im looking for a goodvg and have one in mind but i need to find a member first lol.

Make sure you're using all your resources to find people, too.

If you aren't a member of any global channels on your server, join some. (Check the Freedom server page for a list of global channels and start asking around for others.) That's a great way to access people who may not even be playing villains your level at the same time you are but who might be interested in changing if they find out someone else is putting a team together.

Post someting on the Freedom forums. Tell people what you plan on doing and when, then see if anyone wants to show up and join you. If you're only broadcasting or only searching for who's your level and in your zone/game at the same time you are, you're cutting yourself and your teaming options off from all the other players who may be on and looking for something to do. I know that in my global channels people will often switch characters or sides as soon as they hear someone has something going on that they can join, even if it's not with the character they have logged in at the moment.

ah i gotcha ya thats how most of my sgteams work anyways ppl always switchin etc.. simple enough. thats how most tf's work so ill try that when i get to the lvl and just run tf's with some high lvls or something

well if i do solo to get a few lvls any1 know a good topic on what mishs arcs, buffs, and best mishs to take?

You didn't include the level of your character, so it's hard to be specific. On the villains side I found that, aside from the unlockable content, there's not a load of "extra" content beyond level 10 or 12. It's easy to outlevel the second level contacts in Mercy or the first few contacts in Port Oakes, but after that I think I pretty much did nearly every contact and every mission on any character I played mostly solo. If you have your difficulty up higher at a lower level or do end up teaming more often, you can outlevel them faster, but I didn't. (Note: this was before "XP Smoothing" came along and boosted the rate of XP.) More often than not, I would have to hold myself back from leveling in order to do things like get the Bling badge and unlock Doc Buzzsaw before I outleveled her.

Unless you turn off the XP gain, you can do anything and level. Pick the arcs you enjoy most or even go try some AE arcs, since they're new content. You can PL in the AE missions if you want, but you don't have to. I like doing AE missions to see what kinds of stories the other players are making up. Some of them are really very good.

You can also play AE missions without PLing (gasp!). Although if you're feeling lazy, since AE missions are almost never kill-alls you can stealth them easily for quick and easy XP and tickets.

i noticed this too the other day, i was on my first lvl40 vill, a corr, who i was trying to run my PPP arc for BS, tried broadcast, infinity badger channel (forget what it's called) and my coalition channel...... nothing
i was doing fine solo'ing until it switched from crey to malta, then i couldn't make it past the first spawn, stupid malta
i spent 30 minutes looking for a team to help, but no dice. hoping this isn't the same next weekend, need to get that arc done.
