Yep, this is accurate. For recharge, the 8.75% is different, so that gives you a chance to get 5x10% + 8.75%, which I've done on a few characters who run 5x purple recharge sets.

Ooh, what's the street value of this remote?

Crazy observation: my prestige total alone would make the #15 SG on Virtue. The air is thin up here.

Wait, is that how it actually works in its CoH incarnation? It absorbs BEFORE your resists are applied? That seems extremely silly, since it renders resists ~useless if the healing is absorbs.

Buy, craft, flip. Now often with conversion in there. Higher volume/more expensive/bigger spread = better. That's most of it. I also farm a little, but that's really just ancillary.
  5. A formula:

    +

62 billion incinerated. #1 on Virtue. (For the moment, I'm sure the gauntlet will be picked up.)

Indeed. The first thing I do on a new character is enable the popups, trigger them, move them to real estate I never use, and then disable them.

And yes, this is super, super annoying behavior.

I've seen no evidence of that, and I did a really large number of conversions on test and on live, including Zephyrs.

To the OP: 3.125% isn't a lot, but it will still happen one out of 30 times. I've had similarly bad and good luck.
  8. One of these days, Marvel is going to offer digital comics unlimited that will either be html5 or have an iOS app (instead of flash) and I'll really become a comic guy.

I have the same problem - I collected comics when I was a kid, but I liked seeing things "from the beginning", so I ended up with boxes full of Image/Valiant comics like Rai, etc. Lately I've been reading irredeemable. I've read some graphic novels (mostly from the library) of marvel stuff, but I really hate having no idea what I'm reading; I have this cultural knowledge of various heroes, but I hate not knowing what is and is not canonical. I need an easy way to see the timelines of the various incarnations of these "universes".
  9. Question: can you combine a 53 and a 50?
  10. Welcome back! Hope I see you in game. I thought I said something about converters that night I bumped into you. Losing lots of stash is a bummer.

Or, you just don't bother deleting them. You can simply say "It is your responsibility to delete the enhancements for which we have processed a refund", and then don't worry about it. Customer service time to delete, or dev time to develop an automated process = lost money. Allowing someone to just keep an enhancement they already have costs you nothing. A digital sale like this has a marginal cost of zero.
  13. Another week, another 10B roasted. Go, market, go.

In other news, my wife is going to make these tomorrow:

That's the OTHER type of baking I approve of!

    PvP IO, purples?

Yes. A L50 PvP IO set, slotted in your L49 power, will still have set bonuses even if you are exemplared to Level 1. That includes procs; if you put a L50 Glad proc into a L49 power, it will still provide the 3% even if you are exemplared to L1.

I would likely start giving it away if I had an order of magnitude more than that.
It wasn't long ago that a single expensive build would set you back 20-30B. (25-30 purples, a few pvp uniques, maybe a Panacea set, several LotGs, etc)

That's considerably cheaper now, thanks to converters - probably more like ~8B for the whole bit, but that's still quite a lot.
  16. Yeah. The thing is, I have so many alts, in an afternoon I can farm up a couple dozen HAMs. The "work" of making influence is really about getting the right supply going in and out of the conversion machine. It's funny though, the market is definitely still shifting. There are some people who are much more aggressive/attentive than I am who are sniping my (in one case by literally 1 influence) on some bids. Interesting stuff. I've been having more fun with the market making influence to roast than I did making it so I could buy stuff, though.
  17. Converters are definitely the best amount of money per merit still, I think. Convert to HAMs first, then burn HAMs on merits so you're getting 10 for 50 instead of 5 for 50. It's worth paying 4m per extra converter at the moment.

From there, lots of choices to convert.

    - non-damage purples->damage purples
    - non-stealth celerities
    - kb: kd
    - non-proc/global universal travels

There's a lot of options, really. I know some people did well flipping cheap Red Fortunes using out-of-set category converts to the LotG set, but I think that may have saturated? Haven't looked.
  18. I'd like to share a lyric.

    Quote:
    Tonight
    We are young
So let's set the world on fire
    We can burn brighter
    Than the sun
In the interests of setting the world on fire and glowing brighter than the sun, and also because I like sammiches, I tossed another 10B on the fire.

    It's about 35B to 1st.
  19. Anyone have one? I don't, but I should.

^ This. Add in a Barrier destiny for when the 2nd one crashes, and you can use one blue, power sink, and be off to the races again. You get bonus recharge, you get good psi resist with elec, you get a self heal, you get effectively limitless endurance. You get not just resists, but way-over-the-cap resists for most types when power surge is up. You get a self-heal (36s recharge for my build). You get resists to all those irritating secondary effects - resists to slow and recharge debuffs, as well as end drain.

Now, I may be biased, because I am also at the smash/lethal cap in my build. (Plus, I can kill stuff so fast I can eat purples basically as much as I want.)

Ah. I think someone had said something about the LRSF having a bug for a while that created some. I don't know; I actually have several 53s I got myself sidekicking hami raids back in the day, but no synthetics.

Anyhow, as long as they're 53, either one is fine!
  22. Offering 2B at the moment each. Drop me a pm or a line on @plasma
  23. Thanks, Synapse. I am much happier now.
