PvP IO, purples?

I have a simple question I tried in game and no one could answer it.

Do pvp set bonuses remain when you exemplar down to more than 3 levels bellow the enhancement level? I want to know about the pve bonuses of these sets, not the pvp only ones.

exemple:

If I have a level 50 panacea set slotted on a power I picked on level 47, will I keep the 7.5% recharge at level 10-46?

Yes. A L50 PvP IO set, slotted in your L49 power, will still have set bonuses even if you are exemplared to Level 1. That includes procs; if you put a L50 Glad proc into a L49 power, it will still provide the 3% even if you are exemplared to L1.

That IO is *NOT* a 'proc'. It's a 'global'. There's a difference.

Quote from the page on ParagonWiki for this IO:
Quote:
Global: This enhancement functions as a set bonus and is always on, even if in a toggle that is turned off or even if the power is greyed out because of exemplaring. However, the bonus of this Special IO is turned off if one exemplars more than three levels below the level of the Special IO itself, unless it's from a PvP Set, in which case, level doesn't matter and it will always work.

Was you're over reaction over an minor terminology issue so neccessary, as long as its the same affect?

Not sure if srs?

What they said still was 100% correct.

Even at level 1 a Glad's Jav: Chance for Toxic will still function.

Thx I was wondering about that

Not sure if you actually read. The discussion was referring to exemping low enough that a power is greyed out. It was already established that PvP and purple sets remain active even if you exemp more than 3 levels below their level.

Quote from the page on ParagonWiki for this IO:
You are mistaken, as a level 50 Glad's Armor will function all the way down to level 9 from my testing, and most likely to level 1 which I have not tested. It obeys the rules of procs rather than global bonuses such as Steadfast Protection. Don't believe me? Simply test this in Ouroboros...

Whatever you want to call it, proc is probably more accurate, particularly given your use of mechanics in the quote.

If it's a proc, you won't have the bonus if the power is greyed out. From what I understand, you get the bonus no matter the level, which follows the rule of PvP set bonuses.

Firstly, calling it a proc is not "probably more accurate". It is flat-out wrong.
Secondly, I know it works all the way down to level 1. We already covered that. However, it is a global and NOT a proc. There *IS* a difference in how they function. It doesn't shut off when you exemp because it's a PvP IO. They work down to level 1, just like purples. This was never in doubt.

The Steadfast -knockback is a GLOBAL. It will work even if the power is off.
The Miracle and Numina uniques are PROCS. If you don't use the power, you will not benefit from the IO.
(BTW, Synapse specifically addressed these IO's. They *ARE* procs. Unlike most IO's that people think of as procs, these have a 100% chance of 'firing'.)

The fact that the Gladiator's Armor +def won't shut off down to level 1 is because it's a PvP IO. It has nothing to do with the proc/global distinction. However, the proc/global distinction is relevant when a power is greyed out because you have exemped below the level of the POWER.

Ding! Ding! Ding!
Correct. You also don't get the benefit of a proc if the power is turned off.
