But... if you took away Energy Aura's ability to be pretty it wouldn't have anything.
It's the airhead supermodel of sets. -
They're emotes. While flying forward type /e flypose1 (or flypose2, 3, or 4).
It's just a one time thing though. To keep from having to type it out every time you want to use them check out these binds.

Quote:Just to check, a single attack with multiple damage portions still counts as 1 attack, correct?
As in, say you get hit at full health by Fictional Attack for 2000 energy 1000 smashing and you've got 1.2k health. You'll still only get dropped to 1hp, right?
My vague recollections say yes, but I want to make sure
If it's a single attack like that yes. However if an NPC attack has a secondary DoT you'll still get "one-shotted." Bane Spiders are the best example of this.
They perform an Executioner Strike (a critical Shatter attack from hide) and hit you for extreme smashing damage. The no one-shotting rule kicks in and instead of being killed outright you are dropped to 1hp. However the attack has the secondary attack of toxic DoT which is immediately applied. This promptly removes your 1hp making it look like you were one-shotted, when as far as the game is concerned it was two seperate attacks. Too bad the second was unavoidable. -
Quote:No idea what you read, but there was no nerf to xp outside of missions.Really. It's not that I don't believe you (seriously), but I've read numerous posts in the past that led me to believe that there had been one.
Quote:I don't claim to be an expert on the game. I used the term here because, in context, I thought it was fairly clear. However, if the term "Patrol XP" refers to something different and very specific, I'd appreciate it if you could explain what it was so I don't embarrass myself (further) in the future.
Quote:Duly noted, and agreed. But street sweeping is also a kind of variety, and with the plethora of mobs available on the streets, it can make for rapid XP acquisition without having to resort to things like AE farms.
Surely I'm not the only one who remembers the days when calls went out for patrol teams? (And here I clearly remember the phrase "patrol team" meaning "street sweeping team.") -
And then I get spammed in Local, Broadcast and Tells to turn it on. Probably with poor grammar and l33t speak. And don't forget the jokes about my mother, right?
No problem, I just hit ignore and move on; reporting the guy so I can watch the GMs' workload skyrocket. Think they never show up in a reasonable amount of time now? Wait until this starts.
Unfortunately for me, I don't have time to wait for a GM to get around to my petition because the eager to PvP me d00d is now doing everything he can to annoy me. Bouncing around, spamming AoE powers, killing anything near me if I'm trying to do a hunt mission and if I'm really, really lucky he'll pull a nice friendly mob into me. All to "encourage" me to set my flag correctly.
No thanks. -
I believe what Capn means is that Metal Armor would need to be different than just selecting the metallic costume options and then taking Invul. If you're trying to create something similar to Colossus Invul/Super Strength is already pretty close with the right costume options.
The same thing for Metal Melee, how would it be different than Axe/Mace/Broadsword? If Mace was changed to include an I-beam as an option would that be what you were looking for? That doesn't require a new powerset, just an addition to the weapon customization.
It's not that anyone's against it, it's just that without giving anything but a name there's nothing to go on and no reason to think that what you're looking for can't already be simulated with what we have or might only require minor changes. -
Log on to the game. Type [shadowy presence] in the channel of your choice. Click on it.
It's not a big secret. -
Wouldn't work.
The stealth breaks if you attack or move. -
Triple check that you've got it correct.
Check to see if you have caps lock on, passwords are case sensitive.
If that fails you're probably going to have to contact Support.

Not at all happy with the outcome.
But...
The Saints played a terrific game and deserved to be the winners. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go drink until I forget this ever happened. -
Television loves you and wants you to be happy. Bask in its loving warm glow.
Aeon is a second rate mad scientist wannabe. You know what it takes to be a real mad scientist? BEES! MORE BEES!!! -

There is a Veteran Reward that allows you to select a travel power at level six without taking the prequistes. For people like you and me without that reward you just have to remember that you'll need one and to wait until level 14 when making your build.
Powers can be customized during character creation or at any Tailor/Facemaker. -
Yep. It's a horribly designed mission. It's really jarring because I find most of the Villain arcs to be excellent, and then you hit this one.
He's resistant to slows, holds, and immobs and unless you're a Dominator with Domination up you're not going to fair too well. I believe he also has some form of Quickness and Elude also. Because giving him speed buffs just make it so much better.
Biff from Terrence Dobbs is the other EB who will take off early in the fight and has many of the same resists causing you to fail that mission too. Not sure what the design philosophy behind those two missions is besides a really heavy handed encouragement to get Doms to team with you.
Sorry you had to find out the hard way, but next time be sure to drop those missions and it'll keep you much happier. And your blood pressure a lot lower. -
Nuke, Shivan and Heavy ready. Looking forward to trying this.
-
Actually I believed they would offer a purchasable travel power back in 2008, you know, when it happened with the temp jet pack. If you're going to cry DOOM, you should at least pick something better than Ninja Run. That power's not even a blip on the DOOM-o-meter.

No villains? At all? Now that's an evil thing to say.
Well, welcome to the server anyway. The mutt offers some good advice with the global channels. Once you get the hang of those you'll find it easy to get teams and any questions you have about the game answered. Just be prepared for drama and long, rambling discussions that make no sense. This is Virtue after all. -
GO COLTS!
And I'm sorry, Massacre, been cheering with you through these playoffs, but now it's time for the Saints to lose.Don't worry, it's okay to be second best. I do owe the Saints a big thanks for keeping us from having to endure two weeks of all Favre all the time.
2010 NFL Prediction: Favre will start the season. Sure he'll cry and moan and whine about retirement, but his ego is too huge and too fragile to let his last play in the NFL be one in which he blew a game winning field goal opportunity for his team. He may skip preseason, he may not be with the Vikings (although I'll be suprised to see anyone but his bro want him), and he may in fact be on crutches. But he will be physically unable to let that be his last career play. -
By this do you mean that you are trying to craft in your base instead of a University? Does your base have power and control available? An unpowered workbench will not work.
-
Was not expecting that game last night. Where was the team that won it's last eleven games in a row? The Saints win was not a suprise, nor was the Vikings win. And of course, the Colts won.
I'm looking forward to seeing the Vikings get their butts kicked by the Saints. The Vikings aren't going to be able to defend against both Brees and Bush and Brees is not going to collapse under pressure like Romo does.
Indianapolis had better beat the Jets since their forfeit in week 16 is the only reason the Jets got in at all. Caldwell is already under some pressure to get to the Super Bowl to justify giving up the perfect season, being knocked out by the Jets would not be a good. Expect him to have his team fired up, although I'm not sure its possible for the Colts defense to be any more eager to hit people than they already are. -
Fun:
Power Thrust: Smacking Hellions across the entire zone is something I'll never get tired of. Pair it with a ranged attack that chases them down and it's hours of fun for the whole family.
Rain of Arrows: Just what the name says. Somebody is going to be fighting in the shade with this one.
Dark Extraction: Sucking out the souls of the fallen and making them fight your enemies for you. How could this be bad?
Carrion Creepers: The entire ground erupts in a tentacled nightmare. Horror at it's finest.
Fly Trap: This Audrey II thing is just too bizarre to not be included. It even randomly screams for no apparent reason. What's not to love? -
The closest you're going to find that offers more than just one player giving another inf is probably Perc's yearly contest.
http://boards.cityofheroes.com/showt...e+contest+perc
It's worth noting that even something like this is well received in some places and not so well in others. There's no chance anyone is going to be happy with a system that offers in game rewards. To many people a costume is as important as a name and they will not be happy receiving negative votes. -
It's just a comparison of how much damage an AT does relative to the others.
http://wiki.cohtitan.com/wiki/Damage_Scale
Everything is relative to a Blaster at level 50.
So for ranged attacks in a power set like Energy Blast, which is shared by the two ATs, I know that with identical slotting and no buffs the Defender will to only 65% of the damage of a blaster. -
Well, my predictions didn't turn out too well there.
Still the important thing is that New England lost. Although maybe if Rodgers hadn't gotten the crap beat out of him in overtime like that he could have done better. Why the heck wasn't there a facemask call?
And now thanks to the Eagles I'm in the horrible position of cheering on Dallas next week. As much as I can't stand Jerry Jones or his Cowgirls I can't bring myself to want Favre in the championship game. -
Who cares about the Super Bowl this year? The real game will be the AFC Championship between the Chargers and the Colts. Whoever manages to get there from the NFC is going to be slaughtered so it doesn't really matter much to me.
My picks:
Cincinnati over NY
Baltimore over NE (No Welker no win for NE. Also, I hate them.)
Philadelphia over Dallas (Iffy, the Eagles either easily win or play so bad you'd think they were the Rams. Depends on which team decides to show up.)
Green Bay over Arizona (The cheeseheads have been underapreciated thanks to the Vikings being in their division)
San Diego and Indianapolis win the divisional rounds setting up one of the best AFC games in years (Certainly the best since the '06 game of NE vs Indy)
Indianapolis wins with (another) stunning come from behind in the final minutes.
New Orleans wins their divisional game, but the other is up for grabs. Philly will beat Minnesota, but Dallas won't.
Doesn't matter much because New Orleans will be in the Super Bowl.
Indianapolis wins the Super Bowl.
