Red Side Hamidon Nuke Raid

Jan 3rd. We attempted virtue (and prolly all servers) first red side Hamidon Nuke Raid. Unfortunately we failed the attempt.
Never the less we learned from the experience and had lot of positive feed back.
With all the interest it is obvious we can’t just leave it be. We want a rematch.

So there we are, will do another attempt which I’m sure will be successful. Once more ROBOKiTTY is kind enough to lead us in this endeavor!

When ? : Friday Jan 29, 8 pm EST

This is outside normal hamid raid schedule. So this event should only drag ppl interested by it. I am confident we can fill the zone again.

On the first attempt we had the zone filled, but only about 20 ppl showed up with all 3 nukes. And that with only 6 days head up to get prep. We managed to get Hamid just under about 20% hp with that amount of missiles. This time will allow more time to get the word passed out and enough time to gather all 3 nukes.

Why?:
This is for the fun only. With evac less raid, there is no point in power nuking hamid. But hell it’s a fun thing to do. And well, the obvious bragging rights, :P

Things you need to do:
1- Clear out your agenda for that date, use a red marker and circle the date 3 times…
2- Gather all 3 WB nukes, in advance. If you go get those nukes 3 hours before the event, you can be sure, the zone will be filled with pvp’er camping you. Nukes are best soloed early in the morning or late at night. If you have issue soloing those nukes or have no idea how to, pst me on @xeaon, or ask a friend. (1 nuke can be as fast as 11Min, therefore 3 of em, take about 33min)
3- Attend a few MS raid to get Vanguard merits, and trade for an HVAS.
4- Get Shivans in BB.
5- Show up in advance!
6- Turn your gfx to commodore 64 level.

Strategy:

For this attempt will plan on clearing the initial mitos then the first respawn. This is a safe measure, as I’m sure we can do this with only initial Mitos. But first thing first, If this attempt is successful and it will, will have a good excuse to run it again (do it with only initial spawn).

There is pretty much 2 things we want to fix on our previous strategy. Stress even more on the EoE and Breakfree. We also want to place the EoE/BF call out earlier in the steps. Everyone needs to focus on his icons status as well as everything that will be going on. As soon the EoE/BF start to blink, you need to eat another. Don’t wait to get KB’ed or Mez’ed, have some up all the time. Actually bring some T3 breakfree (if you can) and eat a lot specially on the last 25% (hamid hp bar).
The second thing is simply to have more Nukes. We estimate that we can achieve this easily with about 30nukes X3.

For the first phase, we do like usual. Brute teams have to thumb tack there yellows. Brute and spike team kill yellows, while assault distract blues, ect… Then green then blues. Attack hamid until 75% hp.
Then either we evac or just rush the first bloom (evac less method).
And we redo again, until all mitos are cleared. At this point, We take a pause. Noone attack Hamid. Regroup at the opposite side of the regen stalker who will taunt hamid.

At this point we have to do things in specific orders.
- Everyone dismiss pets.
- Cast all bio nukes (they are 5min duration, and cover only 20 toons at per cast)
- Cast all pets, HVAS, Shivans( they will auto attack hamid, creating agro)
- Cast all EoE buff, Am, Mind link, WoP, regen tree, etc.
- Things go fast at that point, Brute team cast there chem. Nukes (cause they will be too far later on), and move back to position. Last attempt, I believe only 1 brute team were assigned back to taunt. While having rest of brutes with the main group. I will leave KiTTY deceide and assign the brutes teams, where they needed.
- At 50% everyone cast there Chem Nukes (first) then there Nuke Nuke (dam). Spam heal /buff and DPS on Hamid.

Keep in mind this is a one shot deal. And the momentum is very important. Everything will be played inside 3minutes, or less.

I'd like to try this since I've never been on a Hamidon Raid (although I guess that might make me a liability). I believe I have the nukes already and enough Vanguard merits for a HVAS, but I don't have a Shivan or any EoE inspirations. I know how to get the Shivan, so I will work on that, but what's the best way to get a bunch of EoE inspirations?

Also, would Snow Beasts be of any value in this?

EoE drop from monsters in the Abyss or Monster island. If you kill enough monster in the Abyss, Hamid will spawn.

It is best not to spawn him for nothing, so reg raid teams, can gather some EoE before hamid spawn. Once Hamid is spawned, the Monster hide (unspawn).

Teams that are motivated enough could go in Monster Island and kill some monsters. The down side is, this a slow process and get old pretty fast.

If you want some EoE you can just attend reg raids, and save some for laters. That said, in some raids, you need more EoE or the Monster hunt is shorter or longer (it is random , whe Hamid decide to show up). On long moster hunt, you can gather enought and save for later.

Hmmm, I think I shall come to this attempt with my brute Ava. Then I can taunt Trac-Tor because I got to go while he was busy being a nerd PNPing with the guys.

If anyone needs/wants help getting nukes lemmie know (toss me a PM or in game global to @Ran Kailie. Ava has stealth (/NRG) so it makes getting scientists in and out very easy. So I'd be happy to assist anyone with a character who otherwise doesn't fair as well in the tunnels.
