just spitballing here will go into detail if any one thinks there any good ideas!

-metalic control/domination
(with new ultra mode should look cool holding people in metalic cases etc)
-ghostly control/domination
(needs new name but controling spirits of the nether world to keep ur enemys pinned down e.g ghostly shackles, spirit hands coming up to grab ur toons etc)

- puppet control/domination
(new name needed again your toon could use hand gestures to make ur toons look like there beind bound by strings etc)

scrapper/stalker

mirrored fighting (deffo needs new name but can create a mirror image of ur self for multiple hits finisher you plus 3 multiples throwing mass punches on target)

actually gonn stop right there read a post earlier about late night tired posting :P but deffo think that the next veat reward should be like a kind of summoning portal that gets u anywhere around paragon or the rouge isles and shouldnt have a majorly long recharge time!

how do you propose that we damage the npc after being encased in a metal case?

try illusion control. closest thing to it.

coding nightmare trying to get it to work. i don't think the game engine would handle it well either.

Mirrored Fighting actually sounds cool, and Dual Pistols shows that shadow-selves are entirely possible. Mirror Fighting would be an effective method for illusionists, speedsters, and characters like Multiple Man. Call it "Multiattack Melee." Let's go with a quick rundown of what it could be...

1: Two-Four Punch: Deliver two quick punches, with shadows of two more being delivered.
2: Lightning Kick: Deliver three kicks, with shadows of 3 more.
3: Double Uppercut: You and a shadow deliver a strong uppercut to the foe, does Knockup.
4: Build up: If I need to explain this power to you, get off the suggestions forums and play the game more.
5: Scatter: PBAOE, You and five shadows do a shoulder tackle in six different directions, then hop back to the starting spot to re-merge. Does knockdown.
6: Taunt/Confront
7: Full Flurry: You and two shadows perform the flurry action on the foe right in front of you. High chance to disorient. Small cone.
8: Double Team: Recharge Intensive Pet. Pet is a shadow (or looks like you, if that's possible) that can perform Two-Four Punch, Lightning Kick, and Double Uppercut. Short duration, long recharge.
9: Infinity Punch: You and dozens of shadows on shadows on shadows punch the same target, dealing 25 ticks of damage over half a second (resulting in a cloud of numbers whenever it hits) and massive knockback.

And how would these differ from Invulnerability and Broadsword/Battleaxe? If you're going to post a set idea, give at least 3 or 4 power ideas, preferably all 9 (though 2 are usually Build Up and Taunt).

Metal Armor/ Metal Melee would be alot different from Invulnerability / broadsword/battle axe, Mainly because if you look at it, your basically using the same defense that Colossus from the X-Men uses, the body becomes that of solid steel, or metal, which make hitting that hero alot worse than hitting someone like say, Back Alley Brawler who is Invulnerability / Super Strength, and metal melee would hurt even worse, it'll be like being hit by a metal beam, or a big metal wrecking ball..think about it..

I believe what Capn means is that Metal Armor would need to be different than just selecting the metallic costume options and then taking Invul. If you're trying to create something similar to Colossus Invul/Super Strength is already pretty close with the right costume options.

The same thing for Metal Melee, how would it be different than Axe/Mace/Broadsword? If Mace was changed to include an I-beam as an option would that be what you were looking for? That doesn't require a new powerset, just an addition to the weapon customization.

It's not that anyone's against it, it's just that without giving anything but a name there's nothing to go on and no reason to think that what you're looking for can't already be simulated with what we have or might only require minor changes.

FLAIL melee is something I could absolutely get behind, but I don't see it ever happening. Far too narrow.

I like Crane Fu. The most subtle and mysterious of all martial arts.
