  1. Sounds like rather inconsistent justice to me, the Resistance's war crimes are against the same civilians as Tyrant's and should be prosecuted as such.

I know. It's always a losing battle. Between GG and the poor handling of the storyline for the sake of raids the drubbing the Loyalists get while the Resistance are the squeaky clean big damn heroes induces a wee bit of frustration.
  2. They didn't kick the Crusaders to the curb and instead used their villainy to continue the fight against Tyrant making the Wardens complicit with the Crusaders and thus just as guilty for their actions.

And nevermind Cleo trying to assassinate you.

Hmm, there wouldn't be much left of the Resistance (Cleo was proof the Wardens knew what the Crusaders were up to) after their war crimes trials.
  4. Never soft capped a blaster. Never bothered with def on a blaster, they're a blaster, not a scrapper.

Most blaster primaries have a ranged hold or stun with enough mag to deal with a Lt.

    Constant stream != occasional use.

If you need to use inspirations then your character has failed at some aspect of the game.

    -or-

Inspirations aren't part of my character and thus are cheating if I use them.

Two simple reasons why people don't pop inspirations all the time. Personally, if I have a character that is dependent on a constant stream of inspirations that means I have failed horribly with their powers and slotting.

Raiders may be good short term money but I still don't see how they do a game any long term good. I fled to CoH to get away from raid games and then the wondrous (thread) Incarnate system shows up. Yay.
  6. I'd have liked to see them play around with PvE Elusivity for set bonuses instead of +Def on the new stuff and boosted Accuracy on mobs instead of plain old boosts to their To-Hit. SR was a one trick pony which would be shut down by one Quartz. A resist armor with softcapped Def through IOs still had its Res to fall back on.

At least -Def still gave you something for being SR.

Incarnates have rendered any bubbler obsolete. -Res on the other hand...

Perhaps they are taking mercy on the video cards that survived being melted by AP in leaving KR with normal textures.

It's not so bad on the windows client but on the mac client if you had a wire rack and a drip tray you could grill while you played.

Optimize things a bit (and by a bit I mean a lot) then think about using the high res vid card melting textures.
  9. If def bonuses weren't tossed out in quantities rivaling parade candy and fitness wasn't inherent I'd probably be behind moving toughness to one of the first choices. As it is though there needs to be some cost to getting tough/weave.

It's not like people don't mule kinetic combat in there anyways.

With Incarnates the devs have gone to plaid when it comes to power "creep".

With hard capped to everything leagues I doubt sets are even a blip on their radar.

Is there an ETA on this?

Does it just wipe just the current arc from memory or all play throughs?

DA just might be tolerable without the weight of all the previous runs for very little progress.
  12. At least I don't have to go through the 5 minute boot up sequence of my WP tanker each time I log in to them now.

Other than being a vestige of the one armor at a time era I don't see any "fun" reasons for the long activation times on normal defensive toggles.
  13. Which is why they shouldn't have retconned States and Psyche.

Do it right (x)or don't do it at all.

Kill them off in Incarnate content. There's Incarnate Shinies there to distract anyone from caring about any inconsistencies and non-incarnates can blissfully ignore them.

States and Psyche got chucked into a crack in time when they died.

Wade is still hanging out Redside even though he's staying at Vanguard enjoying all their hospitality currently.

If they're going to retcon things they should at least be consistent about it.

Since they are both dead current story protocol is to wipe them from existence. Just like in that wonderful Wing Commander movie.

Imperious Task Force? I don't know what you are talking about. There never was an Imperious.

You might want to try SSA#1.

A good chunk of the story arc accomplishes nothing and serves only as padding. I don't want the arc to be shorter, don't get me wrong, but I'd rather get plot and character development instead of filler.
I would imagine the Echo mission would award the O-portal if you didn't already have it since it involved a time traveler and you need to go see Cosmic Smurf later on.

  19. IIRC, windfalls are best used when solo at x8 since then you get all the drop checks and thus they all get boosted by the windfall increase.

When grouped only your checks get boosted, so on an actual team of 8 only 1/8th (yours) are getting the windfall chance.

That is all IIRC. Never used one myself.
  20. In PvE there'd be no point in worrying about someone being more invisible than completely invisible to mobs. It'd have to be PvP if stealth stacking was a concern.

If they want mobs to see you they just make the mobs see through stealth entirely or have the ambush home in on you no matter your level of stealth since stealth is not a placate.

PvP. It's why we can't have nice things.
  22. The people with the INF that needs to burn have enough INF to afford builds that wouldn't need Amplifiers.

Resistance are the Big Damn Heroes, remember?

Loyalists are nothing but stiff armed dogs of the Tyrant.

They get told that at every opportunity.

I don't think the Crusaders care which civilian hospitals they are blowing up or who they fight. As long as there are civvies to slaughter in the name of the Resistance they'll be happy.
