Tactics, both for the +perception bonus and for the Confuse/Fear protection. Especially true since I play Masterminds a lot and one of the more dangerous things to run into is a Succubus. And MMs/Controllers/Doms are running around with lower level pets that may need help to hit.

I'm planning on taking powers that I skipped, like self rezzes, Demon/ whip attacks and immobilizes for my Doms to help with runners. I'm planning to fit in the travel powers I really wanted instead of having so many rely on Superspeed or Ninja Run. I'm taking Boxing/Tough on some melee characters who skipped it. I'm taking travel powers sooner rather than in the 30s. I'm planning on making characters with energy hungry powersets that make me want to scream before 20 now.

It's also vulnerable to -Regen and endurance drains. Interestingly there's a fair amount of -Regen in Praetoria; some of the PPD blasts and Clockwork plasma do -Regen.

The pet release animation has defaulted to the pet death animation for awhile on some types of MMs; it's not a new problem. Probably fixing it is low priority since it doesn't directly affect gameplay.

That's about three steps further than most players are willing to travel for a payoff. -
I was just playing my level 35 Fire/Fire Dom and thinking about how Stamina being an inherent will let me fit in Fire Cages or Ring of Fire to immobilize runners. And lots of my Doms will be able to fit in travel powers, or just the travel power that I wanted them to have instead of usually Superspeed (since Hasten is so useful for them).

Quote:If it hasn't occurred to you, you can buy from the market or mail a Raptor Pack temp power to yourself and craft it.It may also have something to do with the fact that there are no temp travel powers in Praetoria. Raptor Packs and Zero G Packs make getting around in the early game without Ninja Run much easier, but without them you're stuck with only Sprint from levels 4-13 if you don't have the City Traveler vet reward. And even if you do have City Traveler, "wasting" a power pick that early is a pain compared to using temp travel powers. I usually use the Zero G Pack plus Hurdle until the mid 20s or so to get more primary and secondary powers early (plus making sure I can take Stamina at 20), but on Praetorians I can't do that so I'm very glad for Ninja Run and the new improved Sprint speed.

Travel powers on some that don't have them. Aid Self on others. As much as anything though the ability to fit in extra attacks pre-20 instead of 22+ while having the endurance to use them will be nice. The same goes for a power like Hasten; it'll be much more useful pre-20.

Quote:Just raise the difficulty slider. I know that Stamina is where I start feel comfortable raising the slider myself right now for most characters*, because at lower levels my number 1# cause of death is running out of endurance.I'm glad to see this change. However, I hope the general difficulty of the game is tweaked correspondingly (at least blueside). With IOs, booster packs, temperary powers, veteran powers and now this, much of the content has been to a varying degree rendered trivial.
* The characters I usually raise the difficultly level earlier for are masterminds and regen scrappers - who don't have the same kinds of problems with endurance. -
As has been said in the past, if the game spit out free money some people would complain that the serial numbers weren't sequential. I'm certainly happy; I have quite a few characters who'll be able to squeeze in things like travel powers or Leadership or whatever. My Demon Masterminds will be able to fit all three whip attacks in now; all they'll really need as a single accuracy, and a single extra slot for endurance reduction in the cone.

As I understand it, any proc in DP will continue to work regardless of what ammo type it's set to. From what I've read, the attacks are in actuality always doing all of the secondary effects; it's just that unless you are switched to that particular ammo the value of that effect is set to zero. So when you shoot Fire bullets you are still firing a defense debuff power, just one that does 0% debuff.

Quote:From what Castle said if you already have the Fitness powers and don't respec nothing will change.I think this change seems very interesting. Still, I'm wondering how they'll get around the fact that most people already have 3 or 4 powers from the Fitness pool when they make it inherent. Will these kind of characters just be grandfathered in that they have both power pool Fitness and inherent Fitness? Will they be forced to respec?

I recall a force field user that used the Beast Head and had the name "Hamster Ball".

The exception being the actual alignment changing Morality Tip Mission which you can get even with all fame points filled.

Quote:I have one of those! My Mind/Rad controller Kitten Crusade. A kitten made sentient and psychic by a mad scientist, riding the shoulder of an android she stole from the evil scientist who experimented on her. She's on a rampage against kitten tormentors everywhere and villains in general (who of course generally torments kittens because that's what bad guys do). Dogs of course are on their own.I love that one! The comment from the civilian really helps the picture too.
It's also making me wonder just how many people have made a 'controlled by the kitten on her shoulder' toon...I haven't made mine yet, but she's always in the back of my mind, and I know I've heard the idea expressed by others here on the fourms.

Wabbit Season: a brute. Looked sort of like a grey version of the Tick, except with rabbit ears and the "crazed" face.
Udder Destruction: a black-and-white, horned, cow themed brute.
The Aggroed Wife: a normal looking woman with red eyes.
Goat Widow: A good copy of Ghost Widow, with...interesting ancestry.
The Neuterer: a claws scrapper IIRC, here to deal with Paragon's Warwolf overpopulation problem. Remember to spay or neuter your Warwolves!
The Maus Titan, a giant (aka human sized) robot piloted by mice.
Quote:He was my first thought actually. Someone posted a pic of the bio a while back:FollowedByNinjas- Ninja Mastermind... the funniest part was his bio which read he was actually just a pizza delivery guy who was being followed by Ninjas... he didn't command them... didn't even know who they were or why they were following him... they just showed up and helped out whenever he was in trouble..

Tornado is actually quite useful. Your henchdemons won't whine about the knockback. And it allows you to either neuter single strong enemies or to do heavy damage to them, depending on if they have knockback protection or if you apply such -kb yourself.

Snow Storm is really good against enemies with hard hitting, already slow recharging attacks. Such as Longbow Ballista; Snow Storm cripples them. At lower levels it cripples pretty much everything since enemies typically have only a few attacks to cycle. I've skipped it on a few Storm characters who have other methods of controlling/slowing the enemy (like my Ice/Storm corr), but never on a Mastermind.
