I'd be surprised if they didn't. Otherwise it would seem weird for them to single out Doms as getting nothing while other sets get both proliferation and entirely new sets. And to even point out the fact in the proliferation announcement.

If you haven't found it yet, I recommend you bookmark Paragonwiki. A very useful source of game information.

Quote:Demon/Storm works fine. As for Demon/Poison, I'd wait until Issue 21 and the /Poison buffs for that.Posion and Storm I'm less sure about. Storm I can see having trouble, it tends to work best with a bit of chaos and keeping enemies out of melee. Unfortunately Demons work best when enemies are concentrated and in melee. It might work, but I'd recommend caution.

Acid Mortar is a debuff power with minor damage. Don't slot it for damage; you want recharge in it and perhaps some procs, like the Achilles -res.
-
Dual Pistols and Sonic also have single target stuns to stack with Dark Pit.
-
The forum discussion about it is here. Their Facebook page is here; I never use Facebook so don't know where the actual interview would be. The only comment I saw about poison was this:
Quote:Q. Will poison be renamed to something else for Controllers? I ask because when Empathy was moved to Corruptors and MMs the name was changed to Pain Manipulation to stay in line with the theme of Villains. So will it be renamed for heroes?
A. Poison will be called Poison for Controllers. -

Quoted from today's Facebook thingamabob:
Quote:So yes, it gets Aim, and Dark Manipulation gets Dark Pit. And Umbral Torrent has "the damage of Night Fall and the Knockback of Torrent", which I like even if some other people don't.
Can you tell us what powers are currently slated to be in the Blaster version of Dark Blast?
A. Current powers for Dark Blast (subject to change):
- Dark Blast
- Gloom
- Aim
- Moonbeam
- Tenebrous Tentacles
- Abyssal Gaze
- Life Drain
- Blackstar
Whoops, left out Umbral Torrent! That is also currently in the set. -
Quote:I know they have to be vague about dates, but I'd like a hint or two about exactly what they've got planned for Doms. Even if it's nothing more than a powerset name or screenshot we can speculate madly about.Perhaps. But the simple fact is that, until things are close enough to finished that the devs can reliably set dates, all you're going to get is "soon".

One possibility would be an Illusion set with two new powers for Doms; you could remove Group Invisibility as redundant, and Spectral Wounds because Doms already have a secondary full of attacks.
Four; don't forget the Hell on Earth animation where you wrap the whip around a demon. That animation could be repurposed into an attack. Add the standard Assault set self buff power, and that's 5 out of 9 powers. -

I'll toss out some of mine.
Rabbit Trick (Illusion/TA): A bunnygirl, inspired by the addition of the rabbit tail costume part actually. Her bio is " 'Watch me pull a rabbit out of a hat!'; or, why Circle of Thorns mages shouldn't try their hand at stage magic." Yes, among other things she is a Rocky and Bullwinkle reference. Just imagine a CoT mage doing hat tricks like Bullwinkle did. Her name is also a joke; it refers to her being a bunnygirl, to using trick arrows, and to her literally being a rabbit trick pulled out of a hat.
The Opener of the Way (Illusion/Storm): A Lovecraftian homage. A former student of Miskatonic University who read the wrong book a century ago. Maximum height, very thin, wears a black suit and top hat. Has the Bioluminescent Face (for the eyes), black cloth mask over the lower face, and the Bioluminescent Tail. He uses Beast Run a lot. His powers are oddly colored, naturally.
Entropic Girl (Illusion/Rad): Her powers bring disorder to the minds and bodies of her enemies.
Special Effectz (Illusion/Sonic): A renegade Freakshow with custom sonic and holographic implants. Why did he join the heroes? He's a Freakshow! Freaks don't need reasons! Plus, the heroes have cool stuff he can weld onto himself.
Patternshift (Illusion/Kin): Wears a hi-tech suit of armor that allows her to "repattern" the minds and energy of her enemies to the advantage of her and her allies. -
Quote:I don't know, recall this from Seer 0511:RE: Seers.
I always assumed the Seers weren't so much constantly reading everyone's thoughts as they were set to go off at certain thoughts (eg. violence or other types of "breaking the law")
Quote:...I just love the way Enriche tastes, don't you?
...We have a meeting in thirty minutes, make sure to read the report on...
...Kevin, do these pants make me look fat?
<your character> Resistance. Syfotine Industries. Forced Entry. Innocents in danger. Gunfire.
...Don't roll your eyes at me...
Attention Network: This is Seer 0511. Syfotine Industries requires immediate PPD response. Resistance forces have occupied the building. Innocents are in danger. Gunfire has been reported.
...Mom, I don't want to log in to school today, can't I play Guardians of Praetoria online today with Jonny? We're almost level...
Agreed. Drives me nuts. Another thanks to VK for the transcript. -
It's my understanding that it's a little better than a 50 IO in the third slot, and much better in a fourth.

Quote:I've sometimes wondered if Cole didn't arrange for Reese to break Transmuter's amulet. That's one less potentially dangerous magic user, after all...Transmuter was a main magic user until his amulet was broken.
(http://wiki.cohtitan.com/wiki/Transmuter ) Another example of my definition of how Cole has a stronghold on the magic in praetoria, no one can be stronger than him...and he doesn't mind having them around. -

Or when they do port it they are planning changes that will involve new animations. Say, a new power to replace Group Invisibility or a customizable Phantom Army.

A ranged Earth attack set; I picture it as medium damage, high in control, especially knockdown/up. To throw out a speculative list of powers:
1: Fling Stone. Fling a stone at a single enemy. Chance for knockdown.
2: Hurl Boulder. Throw a good sized boulder at a single enemy. Good damage, knockback, chance for stun.
3: Fling Gravel. Fling a mass of gravel at your enemies, blinding and damaging them. A moderate damage cone attack with an -accuracy component. I'd consider adding a momentary Terrorize effect to it to force the "cower and cover face" animation.
4: Build Up
5: Fling Stones. Throw multiple medium sized rocks at your enemies. A cone attack with multiple rocks flung in a spread. Chance for knockdown (not knockback).
6: Fossilize. A single target hold, target must be on the ground. Negate KB for a short time.
7: Seismic Strike. Heaviest hitting single target attack with knockup, target must be on the ground. A line of cracks and dust speeds along the ground, then a large block erupts under the target flinging them into the air.
8: Stalactite Strike. Summon multiple stalactites from the earth that damage your enemies and fling them into the air. A similar animation to Stalactites of Earth Control with thicker stalactites. A ground targeted AoE attack with knockup, moderate damage, slowish recharge; designed to be good as a fight opener.
9: Avalanche. The set's nuke. A massive rain of boulders crashes down upon your enemies, with extreme damage as well as knockdown and stun effects. -

Quote:The Salt Crystals Sleep power from Earth control is skippable, and for Dominators the immobilizes are generally optional although many people pick at least one up anyway late in the build. Don't use the Immobilizes ate the same time as Earthquake however, they stop KB. For Earth Assault, Tremor and Mud Pots are considered sup-par, and many people dislike Hurl Boulder (I generally get Hurl Boulder because I like it better than Tremor). Also, if it can be a very nice build what are the powers from the 2 sets that are skippable?
Only Hurl Boulder actually knocks anything back as I recall. The Immobilizes from Earth Control negate KB though. -
I always thought it was something of a joke; calling someone a "team all by himself".
