Be not ashamed. Time spent doing something you enjoy was not wasted.

But if I hear "I had RL things that I should have taken care of" well.... that's business you should have taken care of before logging on, ain't it?

It's either that or a Linkin Park song.....or that damned Bodies Hit the Floor.

I really don't like when people on youtube do that.

If they aren't laughing at us (I would) they are probably saying "not ready to join the interstellar community"

And I agree. The rich and politicians would immediately seek ways to accumulate more money and power if we were suddenly introduced, instead of trying to learn to co-exist. It's just my opinion, however.
  6. I had similar problems with the internet dropping or not coming up on Windows 7 (clean install) and a new modem.

I disabled the firewall in my modem, and have not had the problem since. It seems it didn't play nice with Windows Firewall. Try that.

How to access your modem: in your browser address bar, type 192.168.0.1

For those of you who don't know or have a different list.. I consider the following to be the bat-family...

    Batman (Bruce Wayne)
    Alfred Pennyworth
    Catwoman (Selina Kyle)
    Nightwing (Dick Grayson)
    Kathy Kane (Batwoman I)
    Flamebird (Mary Kane)
    Oracle (Barbara Gordon)
    Red Hood (Jason Todd)
    Red Robin (Tim Drake)
    Batgirl (Stephanie Brown)
    Black Bat (Cassandra Cain)
    Batwoman II (Kate Kane)
    Robin (Damian Wayne)
    Proxy (Wendy Harris)
    Lonnie Machin (Anarky/Moneyspider)
    Scarlet (Sasha ?)
    Catgirl (Kitrina Falcone)
    Holly Robinson (Catwoman II)
    Misfit (Charlotte Gage-Radcliffe)
    Black Alice (Lori Zechlin)
    Zatanna (Zatanna Zatara)
    Black Canary (Dinah Lance)
    Lady BlackHawk (Zinda Blake)
    Lady Shiva
    James Gordon
    Huntress (Helena Bertinelli)

And that's just the core bat family without taking into account Batman, Inc. or people like Tam Fox, Sasha Bordeaux, Knight, Squire, or a number of others... and ignoring the criminal "bad apple" "black sheep" "weird uncle" side which would include James Jr., Thomas Wayne (Doctor Hurt), Harley Quinn, Poison Ivy, and perhaps even Joker.

Do you think they should continue to increase the Bat family size (which is hinted at with the girl stealing the Batmobile in Batman: The Dark Kinnght) or do you think they should drop some, which they seem to be doing with the reboot (removing Misfit, Black Alice, Wendy Harris, Stephanie Brown, and a few others)?

Also do you think my list of Bat family members a bit too broad? Or just about right? Or too narrow?
The only ones I consider are the ones who either grew up with, or were directly trained by Batman himself. Alfred, Nightwing, Robin (Tim Drake) and Barbara Gordon. (Yes I know I am forgetting the other two Robins.)

To me, everyone else is just someone they know.

I never liked that version of Spider-Man either. I want the Spider-Man who tosses cracks, puns, and insults while fighting. The movies didn't portray him like that, and Spider-Man has been like that.....since forever.

As others have said, Deep Space 9 arrives in October.

I've been killing time with TNG and a few espisodes of Voyager I haven't seen.

LOL @ Riker immediately flipping out on Q when he brings him from Earth to Voyager.

Lord have mercy, I had to find this out the hard way. Everything from 2007-2010 was lost, and because I was too stubborn and lazy to go get another drive.

Nowadays, I refuse to work with anything less than 2 drives in my PC and an external.

Same here...but it still does not solve the problem that you can't get the rewards any other way. (mostly)

Hamidon Enhancements were like this as well, until the Lord Recluse Strike Force and Statesman Task Force gave us alternate ways to get them.

In my opinion, an alternate way to get Incarnate Trial rewards or even a way for a player who solos by choice or circumstance could not come soon enough.

    EDIT: fixed spelling

It's an interesting discussion at times if you do not include real life analogies (though if you did, people in real life act like the Marvel populace) In Superman's eyes, the Marvel heroes failed in inspire the populace. In Captain America's eyes however, the DC heroes parade around like demigods.

The Lambda trial has already been duoed.

The completely ARBITRARY minimum number of players to start a trial has absolutely nothing to do with how "epic" and encounter turns out to be.

Being forced to wait around X amount of time for a trial to start isn't epic.
Being forced to listen to the inane ramblings of other players isn't epic.
Waltzing through a trial without any effort isn't epic.

    This is epic:

    And that's soloing.
Well it was his Symbiote Costume, which increases his powers somewhat.

When people told me Spider-man beat Firelord, I assumed it was in red and blue.

Still, even with the symbiote costume, isn't Firelord still more powerful?

After in space they took a major budget hit...
Earlier seasons got martial artists who they had play the roles
Seasons after In Space they move to New Zealand and started hiring unknwown actors without a martial arts background.

You also had it so that the whole cast would get replaced every year so any progress made by the actors was lost.

So yeah, reduced budget + non martial artist actors + Actors being replaced every year + being bought by disney that tried to kill it = worse and worse seasons.
No longer I could not watch any series after Time Force. It wasn't till RPM that I watched another series after, with two exception episodes:

Wild Force: Reinforcements From The Future and Forever Red

    Operation Overdrive: Once a Ranger

I forget where I read it, but it was stated that the series that came closest to catering to older audiences (after In Space) was Lightspeed Rescue.

Same here. I had an 8600GT die on me and replaced it with a 9800GT.

I'm still using that card to this day. I can max out the old highest graphics settings with no problem, but have to leave Ultra Mode settings on their lowest.

Of course I could get a card that could easily run Ultra mode if I stop buying PS3 and PC games......
