Quote:I like you.Oh and you can't ever go wrong with "Force Your Way" from Final Fantasy VIII. Good for Hami and Mothership Raids
Myself, I just use music from other video games that I've downloaded over the years.
I'm having a very hard time finding any music from either X-Men Legends games though. -
If we get a new feature that allows us to have separate glove or boot colors, (like a red glove on the left and a blue glove on the right )I could then die that same day, and I would die happily.
Giving us some Piston Gloves to match our Piston Boots would not be a bad idea either, and they don't have to look like Back Alley Brawler's gloves. -
Well, to make it rather simple:
What I won't listen to: country (it just doesn't appeal to me), and most mainstream music. (Mainly, any song released after 1998. There are exceptions, however)
What I do listen to: Pretty much everything else. Video game tracks, alternative and new age, instrumentals, and some songs from the rappers Nas and Common get top priority when being added to a PSP I dedicated to music. -

Quote:-The Rikti WarOne crack theory of mine is that there is a storm... But the menders honestly don't know what it exactly is, much less how to stop it, so they're sending us on these tasks to basically perpetuate a groundhog day time loop that affects everyone a little differently.
It's basically the a handwave why you're always arresting frostfire for the first time, why neither Lord Recluse or Statesman ever seem to get the upper hand.
So it's not that heroes or villains are ineffectual, it's that the menders are tricking us into constantly pressing the reset button until they can really figure out what the storm is and how to stop it.

These pieces (among several others) are the ones that always come off the top of my head. They fit together......but how? -

I too have forgot who made it, although.
Edit: Why, hello OminousVoice -
No, I'm not stalking him or anything.
In his signature, he linked to his youtube page that contained remixed themes to the Login screen. It was quite epic to be honest.
The thing is, I want to listen to it again, but I don't remember the name of the poster, and the video isn't appearing in my youtube history.
Does anyone know who the poster is? -

Whoa. I've heard some pretty amazing stories about people finding the first appearances of either Superman or Batman..... -

Quote:This happened to me back in the summer of 2009. The only other thing that I needed to replace was the PSU (it was rather weak anyway). Everything else was okay. I replaced those parts only because I wanted new ones.So... I turned on my PC and the electrics tripped. I turned to power back on and my PC wouldn't start up. No reaction at all. Ordered a new PSU, hoping it was just that, but alas, it is not. Nothing works at all. So, I guess my motherboard is fried.
So, I'd like suggestions for motherboards.
From www.overclockers.co.uk if possible.
Also, what is the likelihood that my other components have been blown? Such as CPU, GPU, drives etc.
Thanks for your help everyone -
I think it's time for another "show off your setup" threads.

Quote:This just made my day. Plus rep for you. This has happened about 3 times in the last . But one Titan was different, special and favored of the gods... he escaped due to his tremendous power and skills, etc., etc., and ultimately came to Paragon City where he took the name of... Truck Driver Dude!

For those of you who have ever been to Pocket D on Virtue, you should already know most of what gets said in Broadcast or Local. Still.....
I was in Pocket D once, and was chatting in Local with a friend. I don't know how it happened, but somehow I was switched to Broadcast when I typed what was only supposed to be between us:
"Level 50 Scrapper looking for ERP team"
Use your imagination as to what replies I might have (and did) received. -
Typing "AFK for a sex"
When I returned, my teammates were laughing. Scrolled up to see why, and started laughing myself. -
"Merely throwing the Joker in a revolving door prison just stalls the Joker. It doesn't fix ANYTHING. That's part of why I hate the Joker's depiction in modern comics, he has WAAAY too high a body count for a schmuck with no powers. I don't buy that he hasn't pissed off -someone- by now who's more than willing to kill him."
Well we all know that if living in Gotham teaches you one thing, it's that you don't need super-powers to demolish buildings, commit crimes, create havoc, et al.
I know a lot of people feel that people that don't have powers (even those that use gadgets, like Batman's utility belt or Joker's trick weapons, or even some powered armor heroes/villains) shouldn't be on the same level of heroes who do have powers. To each their own, I suppose.
There are villains with powers who have tried to kill the Joker before, and they all failed. Some are dead. I can understand about invulnerable enemies, but most that have tried were standard when it came to their defenses. Sure, Iron Cross was super-strong, and you'd think he'd be invulnerable as well, but the Joker casually shot him in the head. A villain could come along that could melt tanks with his hands, but still be able to be knocked out with a well placed punch. Powered beings who don't have any special defenses when coming after the Joker deserve what they get. Still, some of the more powerful villains are downright afraid of him, and even Lex Luthor is smart to include the Joker in any villain group he creates, with Joker usually being the first one invited.
An alternate Lex Luthor refused to include the Joker in his Society Of Villains, and we all know what happened to him when he made that mistake. -

Quote:I have to disagree. Robin (like Batman and Nightwing before him) started off as a street-level hero (when he started soloing), but as time went on, he could technically be classified as city-level. Batman started on the streets, but eventually moved on to patrolling the entire city. Heck, some of Robin's story arcs have him going to other countries, and sometimes other planets. (When with the Titans).Eh, even Grodd should be too much for Robin to handle. Grodd is supposed to be a match for the Flash, and a fight between those two should be a good bit beyond anything Robin can take.
To keep with the analogies, Robin is a street level hero. He can fight street level villains (insert non-powered Batman villain here) with no problem. To get past the sidekick stigma, even Batman has to call in help from time to time against higher level threats. Or leave things like Bizarro going on a rampage to Superman or the JLA.
Street-level should just be reserved to heroes who are just beginning their careers, as most of them do move past that. -
I knew about the game when it was first announced, but due to being in basic training at the time, I wasn't able to start at launch. (Didn't get my own computer until 2006 anyway, but I did read the forums on the occasions that I was at one)
Been here ever since. -
Quote:This explains the two brutes I have as well. (In Dungeons and Dragons terms, it would amount to Chaotic Neutral, the usual alignment of some Rogues.)My brute is more amoral than anything. She's a mercenary, so she'll work for whoever pays. The bad guys seem to outsource their villainy more, so...
I guess you could compare them to several characters in the Grand Theft Auto series. (Minus Tommy Vercetti, who was a bona fide villain.) Most of them were decent guys who were caught up in bad situations. They aren't evil per se, but the missions they undertake aren't exactly of the heroic type either......(Killing goverment officials, starting wars between rival gangs or crime families, bombing buildings, robbery, arson, el al) -
