Aside from not everyone having an SG to fall back on to coordinate these badges with, there is also:

    1. Someone may be having a laggy/crummy connection and thus get killed. Granted they should have aborted and let someone else have their team spot

    2. Someone is too lazy or arrogant to follow instructions and blows the badge for the rest.

Why should the rest of the team be penalized for someone's crummy connection or unmitigated arrogance?

We think along similar lines but for me it would be to save all the cites from the KAIJU after receiving either the Beta Capsule (Ultraman), Ultraeye (UltraSeven), Lion Ring (Ultraman Leo), Bright Stick (Ultraman 80), or Spark Lens of Ultraman Tiga

  5. Would be nice if badges like Green Stuff would still reward to the ones that actually DO avoid the green stuff rather then penalize the whole league for one or two people screwing up.

    48.67 - Master of the B.A.F. - (1168 characters / 24 weeks)
    44.79 - Master of Apex's Task Force - (1881 characters / 42 weeks)
    43.00 - Master of the Underground - (43 characters / 1 week)
    15.33 - Master of Lambda Sector - (368 characters / 24 weeks)
    14.40 - Master of Tin Mage's Task Force - (605 characters / 42 weeks)
    8.45 - Master of the Imperious Task Force - (887 characters / 105 weeks)
    6.58 - Master of the 5th Column Task Force - (691 characters / 105 weeks)
    6.42 - Master of Lady Grey's Task Force - (469 characters / 73 weeks)
    6.33 - Master of Keyes Island Reactor - (76 characters / 12 weeks)
    3.74 - Master of the 5th Column Strike Force - (393 characters / 105 weeks)
    3.39 - Master of Statesman's Task Force - (675 characters / 199 weeks)
    2.34 - Master of Lord Recluse's Strike Force - (465 characters / 199 weeks)

Surely these numbers have and will change over time, but it's interesting to me how this list shows the disparity between Master badges with similar quantites (like Lord Recluse and Lady Grey) that have significantly different ratios based on the amount of time they've been available. Nearly 175% more people have earned MoLG than MoLR in 37% of the time.

Also, BAF and Apex are apparently just crazy-easy, or just massively over-run. Or both.
Yes but the LGTF has two missions that can be "accelerated" to conclusion, so unless someone is horrendously careless or an enemy gets a lucky shot in mishes 1-3 and 5, the only real obstacle is the weakened Hami in mish 4. Once past mish 4, the badge is practically won. Compare that to the last mish of the LR with the entire Phalanx that if not handled right will mass aggro onto the group.

And the rest of the prices? I will watch for sales, when they have something 50-90%, I'll be buying.

PS. Wake me when StJ and Titans are available, by then I might enough points saved up for them!
I agree that the current prices for some items seems a bit...odd. I'm waiting for them to work out any lingering bugs/QOL issues with the store and hopefully reevaluate the prices a bit.

Also waiting for StJ and Titan

In the Paragon Market window, shouldn't you be able to SEE what you're buying? It seems like this is true for only some of the items.

    Example:
    • the Barbarian Costume pack. Just says it's a collection for male, female and huge but doesn't list what you get. Not even a useful icon.
    • Volcanic Aura. Clicking on this gives a description at least. But a small picture would be nice.

And so on. Yes, I can search for "barbarian" and scroll through the list, (and assume that I will get everything if I purchase the set). And some sets are shown in paragonwiki. I just think that if they want me to buy this stuff, they ought to be better at SHOWING me what it is that I'm buying.
I've been noticing that when in the tailor if an aura is locked for you to not be able to have, you can still click on it and see the aura on your toon. I've been using this to go over the locked auras, seeing which ones I might be interested in.
  9. Keyes is currently the worst of the bunch by far.

Lambda is next since fighting Marauder without grenades can be tricky if players on team can't compensate for no grenades.

Underground: it's new, given time people will run it blindfolded.
  10. Both badge hunters did a clean sweep through first ward and secured all non dayjobs there. (Still stupid that we have new dayjobs). One of them finished all the new tutorial badges and the other finished the UG trial badges.

Both sitting at 1270, but whosoever finishes the Keyes trial badges first shall fulfill the rule of the Highlander universe: in the end, there can be ONLY one. Whichever gets Keyes badges all wrapped first will become the sole alt of mine to secure all badges both red, blue and gold side. The reason is simple: keyes trial. While it's an interesting trial, the badge criteria....well, no comment.

Tagged and bagged all the Underground badges late last night. Glad that bomb badge is done.

True but then again, how often are global rename tokens tossed out? Still, even if they link global names to reserved toon name status, they really can't take the name away from another account unless the account has been inactive for a time frame, or perhaps if the name was taken but the alt never used.

In any event, can't please everyone. No matter what they do, or invariably NOT do, someone is going to feel burned somehow.

I suppose they could change it so that your global name cannot be changed unless it is reported as being offensive or of course trademark infringement.
  13. What's in a name, anyway? If it's your global name then I can see wanting to lock it down fast as possible on any server much less Exalted. In any case, until the come up with a new system it's first come first served. Unless you can get some serious evidence of name griefage they are likely to not strip them of the name.

If someone has a name that you want, just use /getglobalname followed by the name you seek and see who has it then send them a polite in game email/private message and ask them for it. If they politely decline, then that's that. If they are rude about it or charge in game funds or especially RL funds, then you might be able to speak to support. Not everyone took a name to spite someone, not everyone is a "name griefer"

As to global names, it would be nice if our global names were automatically reserved for us to use on all servers. For example: someone's global is "King of Hearts", that means the toon name King of Hearts is reserved for them and only them to use on the servers if they choose to use it as a toon name. If they don't it stays in reserve status so no one can claim it. If the person changes their global name, then they lose reserve status for King of Hearts on all servers and whatever they change to such as King of Diamonds becomes reserved for them on all servers. If they made a toon with the name King of Hearts they still keep the name, but lose reserve status on it for any server that they didn't make the name on. Problem with this is that the game has been around for so long that if they decide to make global names reserved on all servers, some other people may already have toons with that name, so what to do? Let them keep the name or should the support staff run a script that puts a number one at the end of their name and issue them a free rename token for that toon? Some people may not like their name being stripped from them just because it isn't their global name.

I believe the correct responses are:

"Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain" or "these aren't the droids you are looking for"
  15. Also whenever Ghostbusters 3 arrives, please have the original theme song in it again.
  16. Glad he got his stuff back, plus a tour of Siegel/Schuster home sounds cool too.

One thing I'm hazy on due to not being as fluent about certain rules as I once was, but wouldn't the stolen items be seized as evidence for any impending trial and then returned after said trial?

Don't get me wrong, I'm glad it's all been returned and then some I just don't want to see the thief walk out.

Granted a build without toggles is nice, but still wouldn't be nicer if pool powers worked when transformed?

2nd Guyver movie despite it's budget wasn't half bad and a lot closer to the manga, good popcorn flick if nothing else. The first one was a travesty.

I mean seriously, bad acting, bad casting, hideous script, and when you have Jimmie Walker aka J.J. from Good Times as a hip hop rapping Zoanoid....you have epic fail.

  22. If I recall the boosters are not supposed to work on procs such as the unique heal procs or damage procs or chance to hold, etc etc, nor on LOTG Global rechargers.
  23. Please let this project not happen. I like Ranma and do not want to see it go live action.

Bad enough Akira and Cowboy BeBop are supposed to go live action......did they learn nothing from the live action Fist of the Northstar and the first live action Guyver movie?

Cheesy movie, good for drinking games, spawned a couple of quasi sequels.....

Didn't take us long to form a UG on Tuesday night, but it was still shiny new then. Maybe, once people get it run once, they'll return back to the regular grinds.
UG is a nice trial, though the maps are a bit..lengthy. Still it pays well with threads, Astrals and 2 Emps at the end. If you aren't going for the badges then you can just steamroll it.

I ran a league in it the other night, 24 people and I made sure one team was all masterminds.......nice firepower on that team
