I love to run the DFB whenever I want a quick and easy to establish team with a set time limit. Quick, short, easy to run, it's a ton of fun if you've got twenty or so minutes to spare.
It's great for running at any level. -
Type in [Wolf Pet] in the chat box on live and see.
My Druid Shapeshifter character is a SS/WP Brute and will shapeshift into Werewolf form (so far). -

Quote:I agree. While I can see the idea they're going for (toning colors), it doesn't bode well for pairing the colors with other costume parts. The Fish Monster gloves and boots are pre-colored. To be grey. I hate that. How can we match it to other items? This is the same problem we had with the Steampunk backpack.
So, here's the thing: If I choose black/black for the gloves and boots, they're grey. If I chose white/white, they're a lighter grey. Can't match that to a black or white costume. Colors only slightly tint them. -
I would loooove to have a No FX option for near everything in the game (as well as an option to turn off FX for inspirations). I know I used a [luck], I don't need purple shields all around me. :P
So yes, I know where you are coming from. -
Some of the pieces I could skip, but I added up the cost of the parts I want, and it's better just to buy the bundle.
-
Just previewed it all and decided I wanted it! ...and, just as I go to purchase, pigg crash failure. Hmm.

I never really enjoyed it, feels very fragile in that any significant burst damage can take you down (e.g. taking alpha) if you're not careful.
That said, if you build up defense with IOs, it can fare pretty good, I hear. Someone made a soft cap Kat/Regen Brute build over on our boards (if I recall correctly). -
While the added utility is a nice step towards parity for Peacebringers, the one thing that surprised me about these changes is the animation changes make me want to play my Peacebringer even less.
Maybe when they finally finish the shorter form swapping changes, I'll finally finish him to 50. -
He stated the late reward of paragon points from your billing date would be gradually fixed each month, so yes, we can expect to receive late points for several months coming, it sounds like.
I agree, there does seem to be a bit of a disconnect between the departments designed to make money and the departments designed to take care of the players. -
So, buyer beware, it sounds like.
Seems a little silly. -

Big, big, pet peeve of mine. If you're going to have dialogue, leave space for the player to read it. I hate having to have to chose between closing and ignoring it, or leaving it open and having text on my screen during the fight.

Quote:Coming soon to a market near you! I bet.It has 3 stances, and 2 main animations - it stands on all fours, then stretches out its front legs and paw the ground a bit, it lies down, and it also sits down and scratches itself with one back leg.
Even if it's not a genuine 4-legged rig, it still opens up a few new things, like cosmetic cats and dogs scattered around the city, or even a Paragon City zoo. -
Put me down with everyone else thinking that things would be cleaner if builds remained in their respective AT sub forums.
Unless we want to make this instead a forum category with a subforum for each AT. -
Still waiting on my allotment of VIP points from the 1st...but, sure looks tasty!

Hmm, it seems I am not the only one. Billing date is the 1st, still awaiting my paragon points.

My Stalkers all already take Provoke (for using after they use Assassin's Strike), and would looove to have a Taunt aura. What is the point of having soft capped defense and/or large resists if I'm merely going to shed my aggro to an unshielded corruptor?
So, Provoke it is. A taunt aura would be handy as an option. -
Quote:Well said!As far as my attack chain goes....I'm not even going to try and figure one out. What I'm going to do is take all the attacks in teh set and chain them together in random orders, and maybe throw Kick in on occasion as well (because it looks like the kind of kick a street fighter would use)
To me, the feel and look of this set is far more important then the pure numbers. By chaining things together in a random order it looks like my character is actually fighting someone, as opposed to going through the same motions over and over again. And that's what makes the set fun to me. -
*shrug*
Given what's available. I like it.
And time plays out perfectly for a point blank playstyle.
My Dual Pistols/Kin Corruptor already played at point blank range, Time will only make it that much safer. -
I hear you on that. Made a Battleaxe/Shield because it seemed fitting, and literally, I feel like I'm redrawing my weapon after every other attack.
