    the first 10 or so times doing the breakout tutorial was fun, but after that it just became long, it was made better when we were able to drop mishs, i would always drop the instanced mish since it didnt give xp

    i do like the new tutorial in the fact that it is much faster and easy way to get to lvl 2 AND that i can send both hero and villain ATs to redside from the tutorial
  2. i personally cannot stand tankers and their extremely low dmg output, yes they do have a little more built in surviveability, but i want to actually be able to kill things when im solo too
  3. without holds it will be essentially impossible to kill the green mitos, so unless your planning on soloing it with a controller or dom or duoing it with one of those ATs taking down the green mitos will be essentially impossible (ice corr or blaster also can help a lot too as they get a lot of hold powers)

    basically if you cant stack around mag 12+ hold killing them will be essentially impossible
  4. i think if they were made more similar to adamastor it would be fine, adamastor currently awards 10 merits, and if incarnate, 5 threads with the reward being on 20 hour timer

    the GMs are not very hard though, my ill cold can solo every GM out there except for seed of hamidon and the arachnos flier (seed of hamidon due to mechanics and flying, arachnos flier due to flying)
  5. the confuse effect is also i believe mag 1 or 2, i think it has to proc twice in order to actually confuse anything that does not resist confuse

    also mentioned the duration on the confuse is very short too, like 4-8 sec

    it works best if you have a lot of fast firing attacks, although usually by the time the confuse takes effect minions are usually dead anyway

  8. the only additions i would like to see on the slider is to give us the ability to select higher difficulties than we have now

    once you get incarnate powers, especially in DA, its almost trivial to run at +4x8

    i would like to see the ability to increase our spawn size up to like x12 and/or increase the baddies to like +5 or +6 (so they could get 1-2 level shifts past lvl 54)

    the +5/6 option would be limited only to lvl 50 VIPs who have at least unlocked their alpha so that poeple dont go overboard on the low lvls

    what you were seeing was probably the animation for mirror spirits teleport

    she uses a unique animation for teleport and is to my knowledge the only NPC which has a unique animation for teleport
  11. this is actually an old bug which was around when we first got side switching, it was fixed for awhile but seems to have come back in recent times
  12. based on the baddy hp, they are level 50 baddies set to use the scaling code so they are even con regardless of level/level shifts

    in the invasions ive participated in ive never had problems with the nemesis vengeance stacking too much, most of the time things are dying almost as soon as they are attackable thus the veng get mostly wasted on baddies who are still untargetable

    the event is ok but its still a little disapointing that the invasion is basically just a recoded zombie invasion, the only thing i like about it is the GM

    as it currently is i never use the vault even though i have /vault command

    streams of binary numbers
    streams of kanji or other characters
    they already have binary costume aura available, but i believe it requires a purchase with astral or emp merits (10 astral or 2 emp), it is a 1 time purchase though that unlocks for all of your characters

    the team transporter will plain not activate if you do not have an active mission set

  16. in terms of destiny i would probably go with rebirth because you dont have a heal of your own outside of aid self which isnt very good to begin with

    as for lore, thats more up to you, personally i would go longbow for the regen debuff so you can solo harder targets

    I don't see the point.
    I mean, if they have a 2XP weekend I won't kick about it- it's always fun to get a couple of quick levels, or give a boost to a character you like but who isn't exactly a model of efficient soloing.

    But most of my motivations for PL'ing have been addressed over the years-

    no travel power til 14?
    Now we have things like Ninja Run and Power Pool liberalization.

    life without stamina sucks?
    Voila! Inherent stamina.

    horrible stretches where you completely run out of content?
    Not any more.

    long periods in the higher levels where it feels like you're treading water?

    Long story short, playing a low level character these days is close enough to playing a high level one that I no longer feel compelled to hit the Fast Forward button and skip the whole tedious experience.
    i agree with this, kind of how i feel about it, the only thing that i hate at low levels is NOT having SOs so i usually PL to lvl 22ish to get SOs, i never buy TO/DO anymore
  23. was the chainmail set coming out with i23 or was it just gonna be a market item? if its only a market item then they wouldnt have any reason to hold i23 back aside from the hybrid incarnate slot (which i still HATE the click buff setup of it)

    correct, it only works if you are physically near the summoned transport

    if you have tp friend, or assemble the team and poeple are scattered throughout a zone you could tp them to you then mish tp


    last night when i was running with some people if we were little spread out in a zone i would say in team chat "meet me by xxx for team transport" or something like that
  25. i like the power animation but i hate the kb and sheer lack of dmg when NPC hand claps do more dmg than my knockout blow (yes i know they use boss/EB/AV modifiers)

    i think the main reason i dislike the power is it being both no dmg and knockback


    if it had dmg then i could live with the knockback, if it stays without dmg then it should be changed to knockdown
