  1. on test i was juggling between either a demon/trap or a demon/TA

when i can get on im gonna make a demon/trap because i reasoned to myself that traps has better tools for not only debuffing the enemy but also keeping the demons alive
  2. well not everyones comp can handle ultra mode

i ran the settings using the default slider 1 tick above the minimum and the game still looked amazing and i didnt notice any loss in framerate
  3. my main just recently got his last day job too, now i need to finish up the dmg badges at some point lol
  4. i dont think the redside market is that bad, and i know i personally will make all my toons villain or rogue, all my heros are becoming villains regardless of how the market plays out or consequences because i like villainside more, including the market

    my 2 cents
    i like this idea too
  6. i dont think hes asking for a device to take stuff from any bin, just an item that will list all the items currently being stored so you dont have to look through ever bin to see if you have what you need

i support the idea with that (10 salvage bins is very annoying to look though and thus i usually buy 90% of my salvage from market)
  7. i dont think those really need to change, it takes like 15 min to get 10 kills then maybe 2 hours (counting for the periods where the ghosts dont spawn) will get 100 kills
  8. i just taunted them, when you taunt them they like to focus on you (got 10 kills on my brute in like 15 min)
  9. IMO, warshades are horrible at soloing until at least the 30s, but once they are in the 40s they can be monsters with the amount of AoE they can generate

if your looking for something to solo a little easier, i say a PB can solo easier thoughout the entire process, they get 2 self heals (1 self heal and a dull pain like power) and more built for melee than WS

WS are easier to dual form (human/dwarf) and PB are easier to be human only IMO

i have to agree with you in the fact that khelds are my least favorite AT to use as well

yes, but debt in the game is already a joke, it takes like 1 mish to clear up debt thats capped (i hardly even notice i have debt anymore)

-on 50s i dont notice it because its paid off so fast

-on non-50s i dont notice it because most of my lower toons i switch around using so they have tons of patrol xp (hence debt doesnt even show up till the 10 bars of patrol xp are used up from either dying a lot or just normally used up)

    New Enhancements

i agree that sets with debt protection bonuses are kind of pointless
  12. Necrotech_Master

    oh yes i did :p

heh thats still not even as bad as something my cousin sent me, this article is a couple years old, but i think it applies as the saddest most depressing thing you could ever see:

Invade Stormwind? You and What Arm-- oh, That One

When you can't convince 35 other people of your master plan to attack two Alliance capital cities, you really only have one alternative: Do it yourself. "Bradster" does. He owns that rig above — 11 computers that run 36 World of WarCraft account simultaneously. His infrastructure costs (to say nothing of his utility bill) weren't itemized, but he unashamedly admits he pays $5,711 per year in subscription fees to keep together his one-man raiding party (family photo of that on the jump).
Better yet? He's going to spend another $1,500 on 36 copies of Wrath of the Lich King so his army of level 80 Shamans can start pounding down Stormwind and Ironforge on day one.
Bradster is a WoW multiboxer. This isn't a lifestyle I'm all that familiar with, but there are forums and discussion boards devoted to helping players control multiple characters in WoW. It sounds like he has utilities that allow him to start up all of his copies simultaneously, and use his mouse to control eight of these monitors (which look like they have at at least 3 copies running) at once.
Oh and here's a comment beneath his post on a multiboxing forum:
"I'm horrified and greatly impressed at the same time. And I thought I took my hooby [sic] too seriously at $1680/year in subscription fees."
Psssht. $1,680? Night elf, please. So, now I really want to know what Bradster does for a living, a) so he can afford all this **** and b) so he can have the time to play it.
    Here's the class picture.
  13. i would say /thermal or /cold domination to pair with a fire scrapper

therm has heals and buffs and debuffs, cold dom has good defense buffs an hp buff and a HUGE end buff as well as debuffs
  14. Necrotech_Master

    80% defense?

depending on secondary and slotting, brutes could hit resist cap on (90%)

fire armor - can easily get 90% fire resist with good slotting
elec armor - can get to 90% energy resist with good slotting
stone - can get to 80+% resist in smash lethal with good slotting and tough
invulnerability - basically same block as stone for smash and lethal

One of the comments made by Positron before the official lead change was that you (Paragon Studios) were looking into awarding the anniversary badges on a global basis to eliminate the need for players to log onto each and every alt they have in order to get the anniversary badges. You have the tech to award badges globally now thanks in part to the Architect. So it isn't even a tech issue.
    agreed with that
  16. if you dont like how someones base is organized you can always start your own sg and save up prestige to make the base how you want it.

if you join someone elses group, 9/10 times you will have to search the base anyway to find where everything is, and then there are some groups which have bases set up like mazes which can make things worse
  17. its a good idea but would not work in all attack set cases

    questions that have come up:

    • what about mm sets? (since the attacks are mediocre anyway and some poeple skip them entirely, if 1 of them was 0 end cost it might warrent taking that one but it would be more useful if tier 1 pets had no end cost but that might be overpowered)
    • what about some melee sets in which the weaker attack is the tier 2 attack is weaker?
i think this could be a good idea, but would have to be balanced on every offensive set which power would be the no end cost one
  18. i could agree with that, most tier 1 attacks have such a low end cost anyway its near negligible and most tier 1 attacks do only slightly more dmg than brawl

however im sure there will be a lot of poeple claiming balance issues and stuff

Swap the Kinetic Crashes from Lightning Storm to Gale. Frankenslot it for dam/end/recharge. Thunderstrike and Devastations are great for this, especially with the Devastation hold proc. Some acc is good too, but Freezing Rain takes care of most of the accuracy issues.

Take a slot from Snow Storm, it only needs 3-4 slots. 2 end rdx, 1-2 slows.

Move the Ragnaroks from Blizzard to Ice Storm and swap the Ragnarok Damage for the KD proc. Put a 6 slot of recharge into Blizzard. This means you'll have more mitigation using Ice Storm, (Blizzard already has KD by itself and most stuff you use it on will die anyway so the extra mitigation would be overkill).

Take the Regenerative Tissue proc out of Health, it provides very little benefit to a character without significant +hp.

For Freezing Rain, I'd recommend you redo the slotting. You're not getting nearly enough recharge out of it and for slowing stuff you have Snow Storm. Put in an Achilles proc and then frankenslot to get the best values you can for the recharge, end redux and defense debuff (in that order).

In BiB, swap the Apoc Damage for the proc. The Apoc set by itself brings you to the ED cap so the proc will benefit you more.

Swap the BU proc in Aim for a recharge. Better to have Aim up faster than having a chance for a small BU effect when you use it.

You can drop Bitter Freeze Ray, you can easily hold a boss with Freeze Ray and the long animation is a killer. If you're just taking it for the recharge bonuses then you'd be better off grabbing Combat Jumping for a LotG 7.5 and more mobility.

Pick up Steamy Mist, plz. Actually, pick up Steamy Mist where you've got Bitter Freeze Ray.

In Power Sink, frankenslot 2 end/recharges. Getting more endurance consistently and having it recharge faster is better.

Also don't skip Hurricane. The sound can be annoying but it's a fantastic power, both for debuffing and mob positioning. More info in my Storm guide in my sig. /shameless plug :3

    Hope that helps
the build i set up was mostly to get set bonuses

the actual IOs ill be using will vary slightly (like the purp sets ill use whatever i get first)

i still took hurricane for slotting purposes and for AV fights, but i hardly use it otherwise

thx for your input although i was moreso helping Pilgrim with what i would be using because he needed help deciding what to do with ice/storm lol

I probably would of done what you suggested Khel, cause I've fought Carnies on my Psi defender...yeah, not fun when they have pretty good defense and I think resists to psi damage.
thats good that it fixed itself, its possible a slight bug when picking it the first time was pointing to a different map meant for a different paper mish

very odd indeed, i had something wierd happen to my sg base once when me or any of friends tried zoning to it, it froze on load screen, suprisingly the problem went away the next day (support was no help for the issue saying the problem was on my end when i specified that other poeple were having the same issue lol)
  21. sweet, awesome will be sure to let friends/sg mates know this has been updated
  22. ive always just edited the "attack" button to say aggressive/defensive so they will aggressivly attack stuff but not stray too far from me, although i occasionally have to hit the "heel" button when they start chasing an enemy

i have 5 mm right now (1 for every primary, soon to add a 6th mm to the list), almost 3 of them are 50 (2 are 50 now and one is 47), then the other mm i have are in the mid to low 30s
  23. i didnt go with the night widow path, but on my claws brute i took both eviscerate and the equivalent of spin because they both can hit more than 1 target

IMO eviscerate is higher dmg while spin is much lower dmg, i would get both because spin can hit more targets and cant hit foes you cant see, while eviscerate is a stronger attack that if you line up right can hit a bunch of baddies as well (i personally also think the animation is pretty neat too)
