Except the extra XP and merits. But if you don't count what sub 50s get, then you are right that they gain nothing.
  2. I welcome the lower level TFs being included in this. This looks like fun to me, and that is all I need.
  3. A few notes about it.

    1. I'm really close to the Inc-Cre-GFS. Just a few percentage points away in Incinerate and GFS(when hasten is up).

    2. I will have the very rare spiritual boost in a few weeks, so you can add about 30% recharge to each power.

    3. I would like to get to the soft cap against S/L. I'm 0.9% away. I can live with it if I can't get there since that is my defense currently on live. I don't wanna sacrifice very much to get there.

    4. I'm not tied down to the top dps attack chain(and I don't even know if my endurance can handle it). On live I'm using Inc-Scorch-Cremate-Scorch. I'm just trying to get a little more DPS out of this. So I'm open to using a different attack chain.

So I want to get a little more defense, a little more recharge, and not give up any more regen if possible.

Anyway any of yall can see some tweaks I can make? I already have all the expensive IOs in my current build, so influence isn't an issue.

I have been playing siince launch and have probably done only about 1/3 of the TFs. I had actually been hoping that the Incarnate system might let sufficiently poweffrul characters solo some of the older TFs because I have long felt that that was the only way I'd get to see them, given that I tend to be able to only play during the day, or for 1-2 missions per night. This means that I have to find a group willing to do TFs over the course of several nights, one or two missions at a time.

In 7 years, that hasn't happened too often.
If you are wanting to try to solo some of the lower level TFs, I can offer an anchor that will sit on the team for days so you can take your time. If you are on Pinnacle, Victory, or Freedom.

All just various personal goals. New AVs that maybe I can solo now that I couldn't before(I'm looking at you Lord Recluse, Sister Psyche, and especially Silver Mantis).

A buddy and I want to duo the RSF with our Scrappers, and we just don't quite have enough to get past Statesman's unstoppable. Maybe now we will. Because of the extra recharge I will be able get the top attack chain for my scrapper without sacrificing any defense or regen. That plus the level shift should have a significant impact on my DPS.

Little things like that. Nothing that has to do with new content, just stuff that I can't do now, that I might be able to do when I finish the alpha slot. Maybe I'll fail then too, but I can live with that. Unless it's Silver Mantis, I don't care what it takes, I will beat her.

At this point, that is what I'm primarily interested in doing.

I don't mind waiting a week, I can handle that. But artificially making the wait a month is just irritating.

  11. Just a guess, but I'm assuming they changed some code from the previous patch and decided to just replace the entire thing to be safe. Again, that is a guess as I have no knowledge of how something like that should work.
  12. In Dallas we typically get about four weeks of winter. Two at some point in December or January, and two more in February. I don't care for the ice, but at least our winter is happening when the Steelers and Packers are in town. I know it's cold where they play football, but everything shuts down here when it gets like this(and its all ice, no real snow). So at least since I have to watch them play a Super Bowl in my hometown, I'm glad it will be a pain in the ***.

That and with the roads being so bad, maybe all the women will be safe from Ben Roethlisberger.

No worries, I was more thinking out loud with that last post than anything. I'm currently playing around in Mid's with a couple builds and I'm looking at powers that only need one slot to be effective.

Maneuvers being useful with one slot is heavily dependent on the specific build. But other than that, I agree completely with your list.

Self rezzes, stealth and invisibility should also be added.

This is just my opinion. So you're not required to LIKE it, if that makes you feel any better.

Well, staying a loyal customer equals spending money.

Just because you can't figure out how to make it incredibly useful, that doesn't mean others can't.

A few percentage points can make the difference when trying to do something extremely difficult. edit: meaning personal goals that have nothing to do with teams.

If somebody isn't able to properly take advantage of four additional powers with only the initial slot, I think that is a problem with the individual, not the game.

I'm a 32 month vet. I'd love to have been playing back when the game went live, but I wasn't. I'd love to have the anniversay badges from back then, but I don't. I'd love to have a shot at get the 5th Columnist Gladiator Badge, but I seemingly never will.

Love to, but I do not meet the requirements for them. Should someone who served in the military from 1995 - 2000 be eligible to wear a Korean War era medal? Should someone who served in the military but never saw combat be able to 'earn' the Purple Heart? Should a boy who first joined the Boy Scouts in the 6th Grade be able to wear badges associated with being a Cub Scout?

No, and these event & veteran badges that vex you so are no different.

Yes, I think there should be other ways to get a /market power. Yes, I think there should be ways for newer toons to earn the 5th Columnist gladiator badge. And yes, I would love to be able to have a non-combat redcap pet on my toon RIGHT NOW. But none of these things are game-breakers; they're rewards being offered to people who've done the TIME.

Maybe they will offer some of the vet-only rewards as accolades you can get some other way. Maybe they'll add some of them into later Incarnate materials. But realistically, it does a disservice to the people that actually have been playing the game for 81 months to think I or anyone else deserves the badges assocated with being an 81 Month vet without having paid and played the game for 81 months.

If you want the benefits, make intelligent arguments about why and how this should be done. If you just want the badges, stop. Just... stop.
First, my choice of words was thought out and very intentional.

My only suggestion is to not make something as incredibly useful as the market slash command a vet reward.

The rest of the stuff, I don't care about.
