  2. A hero who can punch out a frigging robot, that's what I say.

    Her comics are pretty fun.

Somewhat relatedly, I think the must be April thought process would look well-placed on a whiteboard with Ickean lizardmen pictures taped to it.
  4. My problem is apparently she's had quite the growth spurt since age 18.

I could have used that, I've been the same damn height since I was 13.
  5. Most of mine are rogues, but the few straight up villains I have are:

Operative Sherbrook: Formerly Arachnos' whipping boy for his big mouth, enjoying pulling the wool over its eyes to get Arbiter sanctioned revenge. Also wants to impress Ghost Widow. Doesn't think much about consequences, so living for the enjoyment of cutting a swath through Arachnos and whoever gets in his way now.

Lil Miss Popular: She wants money and the power to make sure no one bothers her as she enjoys that money. Countess Crey is kind of her hero.

Jill Palacios: She doesn't want to be bored. She doesn't feel a lot emotionally since the government experiments that made her, but she does get a bit of enjoyment from a well-done kill or job accomplished, so that's what she pursues. She doesn't want to rule the world, she just wants something to do with her time and she doesn't particularly care that other people feel pain.
  6. Oh look at his little face!

    Cute kid, good work.
  7. UPDATE! New picture over here: http://boards.cityofheroes.com/showp...04&postcount=3!

Just got this today from Eiffelart@deviantart. I just keep looking at it and grinning.

Lucky Dragon's real name is Hui-Ying Long and she's sixteen. Super-strong and still dealing with an overprotective (but powerless) older brother, she does her best to protect Paragon City.

I have more art of her in the tube I hope to share eventually.
  8. Oh god, it's spread. My Barbie now says 'Math is h--NEMESIS IS WATCHING YOU-ard! Let's go shopping instead!'
  9. I think it's the difference between, you're not likely to be kidnapped by Dr. Frankensteins for your body parts in real life, but real people are *****/trafficked every day, that leads to stuff like that (and a particular St. Martial arc) being distasteful.

It's a fantasy vs reality thingermabob.

I think it's a reference to people in Pocket D who have bios involving stuff like that. Pretty common for certain kinds of roleplayers who want something in that vein for their dramatic/thing they get off of/sobstory backstory.

That would take it "too far" enough for villainous purposes.

But then it crosses a line. Given the very real, very horrific kidnapping and forced sexual servitude trade going on in the world, especially in war zones, I have a very hard time accepting that a 'paper mission' is the right place for treating this topic so... so...

    Tights!

Really like the scale-mail tights idea.

But maybe also making these new textures available for the skin-showing tops too? Like the tanker would be amazing with other tight texture options, even if just something like olympian and defense.
  13. Willpower is my favouritest shield set.
  14. I'm fond of Seeker of Monsters from the Hollows for my character Riley Grimm. With a name like Grimm, it sort of follows and it does tie in to her bio/origin of her hunting the Red Caps.
  15. I keep my main at 19 for the same reason as you. I was about her age when I made her, but I haven't felt inclined to aging her up as I have.

On the other hand, I've had a character go from single, to married and having a five year old daughter, so time is definitely passing for her.
  16. Re: Liberty's mission. Please, please, please god don't let this end in Recluse making out with a skull.
  17. B's a total classic. I'm pleased, except for one case my vote went for the most popular. That gives me hope!

  19. I'm glad to get the roman pieces, but I would have liked it with more weapons inside, especially the Romulus sword.

I'm gonna second the people saying you should post pictures in these announcements. It's always much more exciting to see the pieces, than get a vague abstraction of what they are.

    It's not pre-tinted.

    ...buh? No comprende.
  21. Twice!

Once because it was of a concept change, I deleted and rerolled my main villain, Ryan Grimm, to take away all his attacks and stick with just his secondary and bots.

And my main justice character, an emp/dark, Oxomoco, got new life as a storm/dark, which is much more fitting.
