Ohhh I see. That does explain it. But..it seems a bit silly..since you can use Tidal Forces and almost instantly..not have 3 stacks..sorta the point of the power. lol

Just got this power on my water/poison corr.

Its..being odd. Some times, I will use Tidal Forces making the orange circle appear, then use Envenom to debuff..followed by an attack with the three TF's still on.

Then other times..I will debuff, and the stacks INSTANTLY vanish, leaving me with none. Since it works, most of the time, as in the first example..I am assuming that is whats meant to be going on.

What scale are the current crashless ones on now? Like roa, overload, hob.
I just hope it wont make the BIG nukes (which I guess is mostly for blasters anyway) become what I compare the Melee Tier9-Lites (one with the shield and sow) that are basically the same as popping an inspiration.

As good as all the shiny things on water blast are..I was thinking..

We have a set with a self (ranged) heal..that makes a lot of sense. Obviously water healing also works..but..what if it was actually some kind of +end or recovery..that is more fitting to me. Of course..its useless to think of it after the sets out

Woo pool changes. A bit sad we cant get weave/tough without an attack..but those attacks sound interesting.

The self placate sounds pretty neat too. Would consider making it unpickable for stalkers..especially in pvp. Chain placate, Pacify and the ATO proc? Unrelenting sounds..nice. But you need..2? of teh powers to get it..

Does it seem odd target aoe nukes get even faster..when they are so much easier to use, as it is? I think RoA should only be useable around corners..outside. Dont tell me RoA's rech is gonna come down to..its already so low compared to the rest.

Dual pistol changes sound fun. Nothing specific on things like the damage ratios?

No I realise I was not that amazed by poison as an MM. But didnt really play it after the changes..mostly cause I was bitter about them not changing Noxious Gas.

It was more asking for opinions than help..since I have done poison as an MM. Then I was just complaining and saying what was annoying me..so far
I will soldier on though..in between playing the water blaster I just made..damn alts.

I just made this..level 8 so far. And..I am already starting to see why I disliked poison. 8 ft radius, but 16 targets? Please..like you can even get 16 baddies in that space. And it can miss the other ones? For some reason I assumed..if you hit the main target, it auto splashed. But noooo.

It's not that I am lazy when it comes to debuffing, or even playing. But having to use two powers with such a silly aoe (yeah its better than none..but not a lot)..

Then I am wondering if an aoe set like WB..really needs an aoe debuffing set..since Poison isnt aoe (and the ST was still apparently pretty poor).. I was looking for something different but..

And also..WTF alkaloid? It is still the tier 1 power..so I HAVE to take it? Awesome..not. And I cant even use it on myself..out of all the target heal powers..I think this themeatically makes no sense whatsoever, Why cant I swallow it myself?

I read it does not stack with itself..and I 'think' the stacks dont refresh..so you cant keep chaining them. Or Something. BUt I totally might have that backwards.

Put one in Freezing rain for sure. Another in Whirlpool too.
Maybe one in aqua too..for the times you dont want to be spamming aoes.

Low damage numbers on the 3 st blasts?
Needing 3 stacks of TF to get max damage?
Tidal forces not being a 'full' aim?

Or some combo of the above?

I kinda see your point about farting men..but since we HAVE in game powers, ie, used in 'gameplay' not standing about chatting, that make us puke..it seems fair to me that an NPC can be sick.

Take it to the other extreme. Puking offends you. Ok, the 'get some' emote TOTALLY offends me. It is just sooo suggestive and outrageous. One moment why I go start a petition to remove that, and then get upset when other people don't actually care.

(Also, since you played the card about puking men being removed by bouncers, since PD is such an accurate depiction of a real club, how about..the catgirls, the skanks, the tentacle people? ALL that stuff..go on, you can be the one to tell them they are no longer welcome.)

As someone who does not farm..I don't think it would be great for farming. At least, not the usually BM type mission. Tar Patch, while great, would take a bit of work to get recharge fast enough for a good farm..unless you dont mind waiting a bit between mobs.

Against AVs..yeah it would be good. I dont have experience with Fade and Soul Abs..Im not sure if you can perma them, in the same way as say..a Rad with AM, or Farsight from time.

Nothing wrong with the combo, but for what your asking..farming, avs and gms..other combos will be better.

Good point Vel..unless we are talking Devices, that was shown to be able to hit that 'non sucky' to hit by itself. You are saying that a fire/devs blaster with perma fast snipe..wont benefit and be ANY better than without?

Or lets talk about the other ATs using Blasts who will be able to hit it all the time? Fender tactics, farsight etc. Again..totally does not make some blast sets better.. And yes, I understand it does not change a set ITSELF..but since sets are used as a pair..

As annoying as puking must sound (I dont play with sound on) I would hazard a guess that it is in fact one of the more natural things that goes on in PD on Virtue..

I was thinking about a fencing set awhile back. I even came up with some rough powers..based on three styles of fencing (which I found on Wiki..bless the Wiki) with a basic fast/medium/slow style.

While I still think the idea is cool (who doesnt want to Fence after seeing the 3 Muskers?) I think it would be a struggle to actually make different styles..difference, enough. Technically we already have Fast-Katana, Slow-BS and mediumish0dual blades. Having another 3 sword variants..might be a bit much.

Still..that was just were my ideas were going..Fencing could still work. Maybe as a companion for a gun set..like Sparkblade, the sword/pistol guy in the CoH comics.

Oh it got you? As in..dead? That is such a..great endorsement for the set. Not trying to be snarky..ok, a lil. But saying you can sit in Tyrant's aoe, hardly gives a great feel to people asking how the set is..when you died anyway. And when any AT with Rebirth (granted, a couple of rebirths) could hit that hp/sec.

I know Rec..crazy notion! I do find it hilarious that AR is now being held up as a 'top' set (most likely due to that blaster performancy thread) after so many years of hearing how much it sucked from pretty much everyone I came into contact with.
Well..besides one friend who has like 20 AR toons..but I think he might have a bit of a gun fetish.

Not to mention..Water with a crashless nuke? Oh noes..it makes it not the SAME as all those crashing sets! Like Fire! BUFF fire blast too!
