Zombie man's guide lists the available contacts, you can just walk up to the first contact in each arc in each zone, and provided you're the right level they'll talk to you.

Try Aaron Walker, 2878 -72 -175 in Neutropolis if you haven't done him for the other resistance line (the figures after him are the /loc southings/height/westings), or IVy/Dr Hetzfeld for the loyalist ones. -
People were reporting a delay in submitted tickets actually arriving on the "my stuff" queue just after GR went live.
I petitioned last night on a TF, GM turned up in a minute or less, so it appears it's working now, the previous 2 calls took 1-2 hours to be answered. -
One that I suspect didn't last was the stone tank in I1 called rock hard willy.
I really like Warchicken's costume.
I tried to get Billy the squid for my kheld, but somebody got there first.
Squid vicious was another good version of a similar pun.
I seem to remember somebody with a global along the lines of The mighty pencil, and he had several toons with pencil costumes, including the pink tarbucket as the eraser on top. -
Quote:The difficulty is not so much that the individual mobs are harder, the scenarios in Praetoria simply mean you're fighting more than 3 at a time more often solo (and correspondingly more on teams) due to the ambush structure.Praetoria isn't too easy.
I have found it is somewhat more difficult than low level Primal Earth content, but not to the point where I feel the devs have gone too far with it.
Some of the badguys also seem to have enhanced perception, meaning unless you're very careful you'll fight 2 groups at once a lot. -
Quote:Exactly, so the sort of thing you do is to pair up with a buddy, do 2 of your tips, then 3 of his when you're not heading for a morality mission and he is. This will leave him cruising for a morality mission, and you with a load of tips stocked up for the following day as you head for your morality. This is true, but slightly more complex. You cannot have more Tip missions than you have available Fame Point slots. So, if you have completed 3 Tips and have 2 open Fame Points, you won't be able to get more than 2 Tips.
Pretty much invert the next day, rinse/repeat. In practice the way it tends to work on the second day is that since you have tips and he doesn't, you run one of yours and hope he gets a tip or two, then you run two of his then two of yours, which should be enough to get him some tips for the following day.
Or you can just go to DA and load up with tips fast. -
We had this bug on mish 2 of psyche, restarted after waiting half an hour, GM turned up in 75-90 mins and confirmed that if we got the bug again, reopening the old ticket would get faster attention than raising a new one. Fortunately it's now supposedly fixed on test.
-
Has been taking a little over an hour recently on a sample size of around 3.
Almost always goes up directly after a release with all the added bugs. -
Quote:This, it means you actually have to think about your build, and not necessarily just slot level 50 IOs to keep your set bonuses.Do you realize that most of the lower lever opponents don't scale up to level 50? Sure they could scale them with the GM monster code but a level 20 NPC will still only have the powers available to him at level 20. That's woefully underpowered compared to a level 50.
And since there would be no risk involved there wouldn't be any reward to be earned. -
Don't have Euro client, but can confirm your suspicion from my dodgy German that adding -in is the female form.
Freund = friend (male or unknown)
Freundin = female friend
etc -
Latin names of spiders are quite common.
I tried to get the black widow for my spider, Latrodectus Mactans (and mistyped it slightly which might be why I got it).
My widow is La veuve, veuve being french for widow. -
50 rolls here mainly 35-39 with some 30-34, no miracles, numinas, LotGs, kinetic combat triples, stealths, basilisks quads several oblits both proc and quad.
Basically rolls have been so poor I'd have been loads better simply purchasing stuff. -
I bought enough to satisfy my current and future needs (say 5 of each), but couldn't be bothered to acquire that many. Well done if you manage to sell them at a huge profit.

We've just had a horrid experience on one of Interrogator Kang's missions. We got to the last mob with 3 of us at level 11.
Mob composition was red boss, 2 or 3 lieutenants and some minions. As soon as we attacked, another group of the same composition spawned directly under us and we teamwiped. Got back from hospital, cleared the ambushing mob, soon as we attacked the last mob, same again. There was just no way our group (elec/kin troller, stone dom, brute) could deal with 2 bosses and 4-6 lieutenants particularly given they were syndicate, and we were pre DOs. We teamwiped (or 2 dead and one legged it) 3 or 4 times.
Actually I've found a stalker (KM/SR the first toon I played thru praetoria doing every single resistance mish) has it easier than most, but I suffered badly in the broken seer 001 mission. -
People were complaining in globals that the emails had been rolled back to an earlier date, meaning some people had lost stuff and others had duplicates of stuff they'd already claimed.

Quote:I call for ID often, but only if the kin has it, it's one of the first things I check if I'm on a squishy, or non bombproof tank/scrapper. Facing malta in large groups is no fun as a permastunned squishy, and ID can make a huge difference to that (and to the team if I have critical debuff toggles). It can also help if I'm playing a slightly overmatched tank (or scrapper doing the tank's job) at mid level. My kins always take it and often slot it for resists. Keeping the emp unstunned while he does the same for you on a rikti raid is another good use.Looks like I have 5 assorted kins, one of which is a Fire/Kin. None of them are designed specifically for farming. According to my plans document, they are all scheduled for ID at 49, since there was nothing else that appealed to me, and that frees up the level 50 slots for other powers.
Increase Density just does not seem that critical to me, and I have never been on any PUGs where people are calling out for ID. Speed Boost is what I hear mostly, and even that is not as frequently as other people seem to claim their kins get called for. And SB, I apply as needed and if I am not busy with other tasks. So far, after over 3 years, I have had no complaints about how I play my kins (most frequently used being my Mind/Kin, who is now 41 and is thrilled to be able to fling fireballs now.
The most difficult task ever in this game is that of educating Blasters that if there is a kin or rad on the team, the safest place to be is often up near the tank in melee range, since that is where the buffs, debuffs, and heals are directed. If you are out of the area of effect, then you don't get the good stuff. -
Not sure that this is the right place for this, but it needs to be in a thread that the devs see.
Was on a team with a member of my SG that does not use the forums much, and doesn't want to out himself as having epilepsy.
For the first time he teamed with the electric control set (customised to a sort of bright royal blue colour). It gave his epilepsy HUGE problems. He has no trouble with any other powers in the game, but is wondering if he can ever team with this set again.
I know sonics got changed a while ago because of this sort of thing, I think you need to look at electric control.
Edit - we think static field was the main culprit -
Quote:Sorry Lili, I lost the net while in the final room, and when it hadn't come back after 5 minutes I gave up and had lunch.Last night we ran the Cathedral of Pain trial, with the full number of 24 players. We made it into the chamber, but failed to defeat the Aspect of Rularuu.
I had a lot of fun, and I think most other people did too. As with any raid, you can't expect to win it the first time, particularly with the 1 hour time limit. I'm sure that many of you will go on to succeed on other attempts.
As for me, I won't be running the Wednesday night event any more, so if anyone else wants to step up and do it, you're welcome to the job.
Best of luck in whatever you choose to do now, and hope to see you at the next set of free reactivations.
I have to say I was seriously underwhelmed by the CoP. Wasting an hour and a half of my time for no rewards whatsoever does not seem fair. We killed quite a lot of the most awkward mobs in the game, no recipes and no tips as nothing drops any reward. Rularuu are not something you're likely to farm for drops so this seems like a complete breaking of the rules of risk/reward. I will not be doing this again unless this changes. -
Quote:Blue side players thinking brutes are tanks.
Early days of CoV, I'd been in the beta and knew how brutes worked. Got a tell asking me to join a team for a level 23 mish on my 23 SS/fire brute.
Turned out the mish was full of 22s and set for 4 so I could comfortably solo it.
Anyway, first couple of encounters go fine, then I realise none of them have stamina and they're all out of end. I'm furying fine and clearing mobs when the leader says "Rest". Ok I can cope with these groups, so I kill another one, and the leader says "I said rest". I said something to the effect that I wasn't going to wait against stuff I could comfortably solo, so he said "Go solo then" and kicked me. -
If I'm on, have an elec/kin troller for this.

The trouble with A-merit farming is that occasionally you just get no tip drops.
I went 2 hours and a 4 figure body count before dropping the extra tip for my morality mission on Sunday.
I don't think buying purples with them is sensible, but if you can run them decently quickly, spending an hour or so to generate one A-merit and buying a 1 merit recipe that sells for 100M+ is very viable. Kinetic combat dam/end was the one I had in mind, but there may be others. -
Part of the reason KM feels slow is that mobs seem to react to it at the start of the animation where with other sets you hit them first before they turn round.
I'm enjoying my KM/SR stalker, but my fire/KM tank in the beta sucked (lvl 41), I have 12 50 tanks and many others 35+ and this was flat out the worst I've ever played. I was dying on occasions to 3 white minions if one of them was a sapper. I think this was a symptom of the first thing, even though I was knocking the sapper down, he was still draining all my end at which point toggles dropped and I was permamezzed till dead. -
Quote:I've had problems, on one occasion I spent 2 hours and 1000+ kills trying to get the extra tip for the morality mission. Then when I got the tip message on screen and in my chat box, finished the mission and no tip/morality mish actually present. Got there eventually later. They do indeed, although I've only once gone through a radio mission without having at least one drop... last night I had 2 drop from the very first group and a third dropped about 3 groups later.
They need to put a streakbreaker on this, other occasions it's taken me 4 missions clearing all to get my first tip, then they've flowed fine. -
Quote:I played a KM/SR stalker, an EB and 15-20 ambushers not much fun solo.At level 16 on my KM/SD scrapper I'm finding End issues. Keeping three SD toggles up along with Combat Jump just will not work. But with judicial use of AAO and making sure that I have 4 blues in my insp tray, it's doable. Otherwise I'm enjoying the difficulty. But I could see how it would really annoy a stalker.
There was one encounter where I had to run up, assassinate something (from the mob of 20) and then run out the mish door, rinse repeat.
Fortunately dying once in most cases resets the aggro so you can then mop up.
Still, I'm not sure this is how the game is supposed to work. -
And also if the manticore in fort trident is the real manti, why can't I talk to him there for the origin of powers stuff.

Quote:From AvateaI've currently found them in the following locations:
Racer Jacket, Male, Sleeves pattern
Lower Body, Male, Pants pattern
Baron Jacket, Male, Dragon pattern
I can accept (if not particularly like) that Baron jackets are male only in the current set, and thus the (awesome) dragon emblem for the Syndicate jacket is male only.
But I'm not sure why Syndicate patterns for costume pieces that female models *have already* aren't showing up. This seems rather ridiculously specific.
Quote:Patch notes updated. The Syndicate has unfortunately declined to share their costume pieces for the time being. We apologize on their behalf.
