Earth/TA......that's too much control.

Was very happy with many of the winners last night: Modern Family's many wins, Sheldon, Top Chef and the success of Temple Grandin (a little movie, unconditional subject matter, but suprisingly entertaining and superbly acted). I thought Fallon did a good job, but the whole "Twitter" bit turned out to be a bit of a dud. My only complaints were Michael C. Hall snubbed for actor in a drama (although Cranston is very good) and Mad Men winning for drama. While I'm warming to it more than before, I still think Mad Men is overrated.... you too Daily Show (Best Variety Show). Last season of Dexter was so deserving of best drama; Lithgow alone was outstanding, but the rest of the cast and the writers were totally on their game. Sad.

And although Glee is not my cup of tea (at all) I do have to say I enjoyed the Born to Run opening number with Fallon, the cast and other celebs.

Best version ever!

Patron Powers and the Ill/Rad-

Leviathan Mastery- two big pluses here. Water spout- another "unbeatable pet that is super fun" and hibernate for "Oh snap!" moments or a quick endurance/hit point filler. Plus bilespray is a nice damage cone with a different kind of damage. Minus- no single target ranged power.

Mace Mastery- nice that it has a single target power in poison ray (I prefer single target attacks on Illusionists). A defense based shield for those looking to "soft cap". A cool pet. Intangible- Personal Force Field will likely get replaced, so whatever gets put in will determine how good of a choice this is. Minus- redraw

Mu Mastery- Pluses- Power sink for those times you are a little low on juice. I like the Mu pets. Intanglible- surge of power: haven't really played around with godmode powers on my trollers. The fact it has an empulse like aspect is intriguing. Minus- no single target attack.

Soul Mastery- Pluses nice utility powers in dark consumption and soul drain. I'll be honest, I'm not sure how good soul drain would be for an Illusion controller. Will have to think on it a bit. I actually like dark obliteration, but again, not single target. Fortunata pets are nice, but it is just another source of psi damage and it may be nice to mix it up incase of those enemies with psi resists. Not a deal breaker though.


In my opinion, I'd just wait and see which one offers "what you feel is missing". All of them have a pet which adds to the Mastermind aspect of Illusion.

Except you want to keep the enemies around you to gain the +rec +regen, so unless you have a dead end to push them into, it could be counter productive.

It's nice but hardly required. Especially now in the days of inspiration combining.

Heroes got renewed and the comments from the CaH/VC threads will scroll on the bottom of the screen. The person with the pithiest comment for the week gets to decide who lives and who dies. And gets a puppy. And a braunschweiger sandwich with onions and yellow mustard.

Being a vigilante does not automatically mean you kill anyone for justice though. It just means to take the law into your own hands. While violence is implied, killing isn't a requirement by any means.

Tips seem pretty streaky. I don't think it has anything to do with confuse powers.

I've been getting this as well every now and then.

My ele/rad (Priestess of Mu) will be similar to Dooms except no leadership (hasten at 30 instead). I'll also pop over redside and take Mu mastery. Power sink, ball lightning, electric armor and a nice Mu pet to go with Imps. Yes please.

At this point, I think nothing; even though it has been pointed out since beta. I believe they plan on switching it with something and just haven't done so.

Isn't the chance for heal proc from a sleep set?

Love it. A great alpha mitigator and spectral terror (credit to LocalMan for the comparison) type power.
