Constant Crashing: Nvidia Open GL Error

This is the error that I'm constantly getting when playing the game. It happens about 10-15 minutes into playing the game...everytime I play

I've been looking around the forum and Nvidia errors seem pretty common.

Try running in compatability mode windows xp sp 2 or 3 and run game as administrator see if that helps. Also when running the game have your task manager open and when it crashes check the kb and see how much info its dumping. I found so far since live went I crash within 3 minutes and there is a huge memory leak. NC support and I have been working to determine the cause. But 1.3 million kb in 3 minutes is way too much data and thats what I have causing my crashes.

Thanks for the suggestion, Rockin. I'm already running it as admin but didn't place it in compatibility mode yet. I'll also check out the task manager and get back to you guys about it

Sad thing that I just noticed

I have Compatibility mode set already as Win XP Service Pack 3 and I still crash like crazy.

I'm going to keep the task manager open to see about the memory dump though

I was constantly getting this error message as well. I've got bad news. It could be a problem with the card (cooling, RAM, whatever).

I was getting this error with my video card and ended up swapping the video card for a new one. Since I've swapped my video card, these crashes have stopped completely. Before the swap I was getting 2-3 crashes a night.

I was also suspicious of my old video card because I got a frame or two of garbled textures once. That's never a good sign, but it only happened once.

You may have to get a new card to fix the problem. But keep in mind that if any other part of the hardware in your computer is suspect (power supply, CPU cooling, memory, etc.) then the new video card may not help.
