At this point, I think nothing; even though it has been pointed out since beta. I believe they plan on switching it with something and just haven't done so.

You could use pff then use it again while waiting for the other to recharge, that will scare the baddies
IMO the bigger issue is, you could get out of having to take Force Field as a secondary at all and still be able to claim one of its best powers. PFF is available in the APPs to some other archetypes, but none of none of them had access to the Buff/Debuff group sets.
It'll be changed, but still roughly fit the cottage rule.
I wouldn't be surprised if it was changed into something like a FF version of Link Mind to be honest, then it adheres roughly (very roughly) to the cottage rule in that it's still a Defense Bonus power but it becomes fairly unique for Controllers.
