VEAT replacement arc. 1 of 2, haven't gotten the second down yet. This assumes you've taken the Bane path, and yes, perception will help on the first mission. (I generally don't like doing that... but given what was needed, well... besides. VEAT.)
What happens when a Bane can't be "turned inside himself" right away? That's what you're finding out, personally...
(My biggest worry here is trying not to make it feel like you're spinning your wheels, or skip info - it does all come together in what I've got planned for part 2.) -
They check every... I want to say 10 seconds, and fire off.

So you have and use a pet?
[/ QUOTE ]
Have, sometimes.
Use, rarely. Picked up at 49 because there was nothing else I actually *wanted.* If there were a choice between the pet and a power that dumped paint on an enemy, turning them fluorescent green, I'd probably take the paint. -
Get the jetpack.
Hover 64 yards above the meteor.
Use the extractor.
No worries from (most) ASes (and flying ASes are a pain to try to line up,) and often the shivans won't pop. -
Follow this. Gives info on how to give the info they're asking for.
And I'd double check your email. I know you said you put it in correctly, but honestly, within minutes of a /bug OR /petition (and which one are you using?) you should get a "We have received..." automatic email from support at the email address you've given.
While you say you've checked your spam filters as well, some ISPs have them also. (One backup email I have sends me a periodic "report" on the spam they've stopped upstream, asking me to double check a quarrantine. The emails THEY catch never get to my email's spam filter.) Worst comes to worst and you're still not getting anything, set up a Hotmail account just for it. They're not blocked there, and it's free.
... plus, honestly, if you're not aware the Win7 RC is a beta... pull it and put in a production OS (XP or Vista.) At least you'll have a more consistent base and known quantity to start from in your OS. Win7 isn't expected to be final and released until likely late this year. While I am running Win7x64, dual-booted, and running COH in it successfully... I also know the risks of dealing with a beta and don't do *anything* I can't hop out to XP and do. (I've beta tested operating systems since back in the days of OS/2. I find it interesting and enjoy finding new and interesting ways to crash them. But I'm odd that way.) -
I hate it when I miss the Freakylimpics, and I've missed the Terra Conspiracy more times than not - though part of it, namely what "terra" herself did go through, was part of what I had in mind with some dialog in one of my MA arcs (at the end.)
I've just got to agree with most of the ones listed.
And, honeslty, early on... gah, can't remember the name, but where you learn the history between Blue Steel and the Clockwork King (as well as the glowie...) -
Pets are... rarely useful. I think some of the Corruptor ones have a heal they can use, but with the long recharge on the pets, low life - I use them if I need to distract something before I hit it. If I don't like MY chances on eating the alpha, the pet does it for me.
-
Well, there was a little noise about bringing them down -
And shortly after that, we had the Invasion issue with the Rikti return, so I think it was more a PR stunt/some fun by the devs with those of us on the forums.
That said, I don't see a zone merge of any sort happening. *shrug* Just me. -
Do a search for FatherXmas, who has a $600 and $1000 (I think those are the price points) build he keeps reasonably updated. You may also want to ask specifically in Tech issues - or browse through there first, rather. I'm reasonably sure I've seen something similar lately.
-
The most height adjustment you can make is on the matter of inches - the request for this to be changeable has been made on occasion, yes. I'm *assuming* it's - well, a character "foundation," for lack of a better way of putting it, that other items are based off of, and that changing it drastically would cause more problems than we think.
Wouldn't mind being proven wrong on that.
As for the origin issue... how "off" is it? Since it's an RP reason you're looking at for wanting to change. For instance, you could have picked, say, a Rad/ defender and said it's mutation, but find yourself looking and acting very tech based. To me, this wouldn't be an issue - the origin of the power is STILL the mutation, you're just using technology to refine and direct the energy.
Some are more of a stretch, admittedly.
Of course there is, as mentioned, the issue of the few origin-specific pieces in game - your starting contact heroside, the effects of some temp powers (which I'd assume would either be on or off, though I think there are a few that give you specifically *different* powers based on origin, as opposed to different effects,) and enhancements - the last, I think, would call for this only to be doable during a respec if it were ever allowed, since you'd still be able to slot IOs but would be forced to sell all your SOs and DOs. Not sure what to do about the rest. -

Acc, acc, dam dam dam, rech, end, proc, proc, proc, proc proc proc. >.>
(And yes, you could fit six in. Ice blasts, IIRC, also takes slow sets. And Ranged damage has five potential procs - so end drain, hold, heal, build up, NE damage, and smashing.) -
Heh.
"Ever have one of those days?"
"Yep."
"I've just had 9,136 of them in the last hour." -
Some might say that's PVP - or the ITF, LGTF, or STF.
The game's in all the levels between 1-50, the various storylines and such. Otherwise, it's a matter of 'perfecting' your character, working on getting rare sets, IOing them out and the like. As someone else put it, "There's no 'end game,' it's *all* game."
Of course, with the upcoming expansion... well, we don't know what it will bring. -

A lot of people think redheads are hotter than blondes. Get some red streaks and scandalize the neighbors.
[/ QUOTE ]
The one person I would, of anyone, drop everything in my life for to go to is blonde - but blonde is a "she happens to be," not a reason why. She's also been my dearest friend for over a quarter century.
Hair color, overall.. yeah, redheads are a weakness of mine. >.< Of course, most that I've known have also been a lot of fun to be around, too, so I can't say that's a bad thing.
Edit: And three boxes? >.< -

Technically, SHE wouldn't be humid, just experiencing humidity. -

thanks. I guess we'll all just pick earth controllers since it doesn't matter.

Earth/Rad
Earth/Storm
Earth/TA
Works for me. But I *really* like Earth, so... -
I used to have an issue with masterminds, specifically finding them boring -
No, I should correct that. I had (still have, really) a Bot/FF mastermind. I found leveling him a chore because it was boring as heck. Bubble, select target, sit, wait, go again. I completely gave up on MMs for a bit, as the experience with that character colored how I felt about the entire AT.
Eventually - since I've got this urge to get at least one of everything up to 50 (and heroside... more than past, second defender up to 50 in a bit over 200 hrs) I decided to give them another shot. I went into the mastermind forums, said flat out "I find this character boring and it's made me not want to play msaterminds, that other characters I tend to like doing X, Y, Z with - so is there a powerset that would change my minds, that you think I'd enjoy?"
They looked, said "You seem to like being busy and involved, so yeah, bot/ff is not for you, try these..."
Ended up with a Thugs/Poison who became one of my favourite characters.
The bot/FF is sitting at 26 - I've passed him, again, with a necro/poison and merc/storm. >.<
Other sets?
I *Love* controllers... except Illusion. Cannot stand the illusion set. Still trying to fight through it with an ill/sonic, but it doesnt' get logged on for long before I go to play something else.
Can't think of others that just don't do it for me - perhaps Storm, but that's more not being completely used to hurricaine (and why I don't mind on my MM - my henchmen won't get annoyed if I screw up with it.)
Edit:
Oh. VEATs. I find my widow OK, after multiple respecs. My bane... ugh. And wanting to level to try the other branches (yes, I know, I can do dual builds - but I tend to want to know how they do on their own) ... I just have no urge to. If they had a decent... well, *any* - storyline past the earliest contacts, well... on the flipside, I love my Khelds. *shrug* -
Anything, using anything/anything powers.
Really.
There's no "holy trinity" here - no tank/DPS/Healer. So you have an even better way to get started - Just answer a few questions!
1. Which side (hero or villain,) and
2. What do you usually like playing as?
Do you like being a meatshield, holding off the hordes while everyone else shoots around you? Do you like hanging back and doing lots of damage, or getting up close and mixing it up? Do you like seeing your enemies drop before you, weak and unable to do anything, confused - or, conversely, buffing up your allies to the point they're miniature engines of destruction? Do you like shaping the course of the battle, stopping enemies in their tracks or even turning them on each other?
Regardless, at least one of you should be a controller. Because controllers rock. Especially Earth controllers. -
Thing is... *they don't care.*
Ban a trial account? They'll snag a few hundred more.
NC tries to serve them with some papers? They'll hold no legal weight if the country *they're* in doesn't say they do.
There aren't, by the way, *laws* per se. They're just violating the EULA. Even *here* there's question about just how much weight that can carry, as I recall. -
Because the website's likely offshore, somewhere that doesn't particularly care about US laws or enforcing any legal provisions of EULAs.
