The thing that matters most to me is "Will I still have a role in teams?" I don't care if Blasters and others can solo better now? Good for them, I'm glad for them and it doesn't affect me.

Now, will I seek a TF team and have the leader say "Sorry, we don't need a tank...we've got a blaster with Fire shield" No way, I'll still have a role. Likewise, no blaster is gonna get denied a slot because a scrapper has shurikens or a controller get kicked because the Defenders got Mass Hypnosis.

There will always be at least ONE of these new inspirations in my tray at all times

Extreme exaggeration. It is almost certainly scheduled for testing on the test server some time between now and four billion years from now, when the sun will expand into a red giant, vaporize the oceans, and strip the atmosphere from the earth.

Okay, I'm a tanker, but I just wanna share something. I saw some controllers are getting Temporary Invulnerability.

They can have it, seriously. And blasters can have fire shield. At level 40+, a simple smash/lethal defense is nothing. I mean, really. It's a nice power and I hope they enjoy it, but it's going to turn them into about as good a tank as laser beam eyes is going to turn me into a blaster. They're not even that much better than Tough... and Tough at least opens up Weave. It's not like they're getting Invincibility.

It'll let us step out of roles just that little, and that's fun. It ain't gamebreaking.

The only thing I can think RE: Mind Control is that the expansion of sets to 10 powers each might help. Like, Mind Control might get two [censored] powers.

He's not just Martin! He's SUPERMARTIN! Man, thsi coupled with the "no lagging at doors" is going to make my head explode.

And "Go Go Gadget Donkey Punch" is perhaps the most disturbing thing I've heard in a week

Hey States, any word on the rampant reptition of missions in the 30's? I sometimes have to do the same door mission a few times to get a new one. The problem might have something to di with two contacts giving the same mission (I/E one contact is DE/5th Column, another is 5th/CoT, and so they overlap on 5th missions).

MagnusStar, that's a pretty common suggestion put forward, just letting us creep forward a little bit when US is on would be enough to keep plenty of us satisifed (no using travel powers to speed it up). There'd still be a role for Unstoppable (It increases end recovery, has a higher base resist, and would let you be MUCH faster than a slow as molasses US tanker)

I don't think a AT needs to be nerfed just because it has a few levels of good power. Hell SR or INV Scrappers PWN 40+ and INV is better then regen 30+. Nerfing Regen is just the same as pandering to the cry babies who don't know what Regen is really like, but heard from a friend of a friend of a friend of a friend that their lvl 20 Regen scrapper solo'ed Godzilla.

Um, too me that seems like a power-set that needs looked at...for 38/50 levels it's to quote you "Hell" maybe decentralizing focus on Instant Healing, and strengthening the other parts of the set would make it amuch more balanced set which is more enjoyable over a wider variety of levels.

Nice round-up. Very interesting to hear about the changes coming to tankers...I had planned to respec myself to incorporate perm-Unstoppble as a back up but with these changes coming I'm getting a little worried about big changes. Not to say that they'll be bad, but it may change how I want to build.

And here I thought Statesmen was swingin' single..
