Quote:Agreed.Yes there was a all server upgrade and then Freedom got its own special brand of upgrading because of one of the DXP meltdown. As I recall, Freedom got its own special booster because of the population size.
It takes more to make Freedom go yellow than it did previously. You more than likely won't see Freedom hit yellow until the next DXP weekend or GR release. I believe this was around the time of the Great Freedom Grayout
I wish we could see the numbers for the servers. Even if they don't want to give out exact membership count or character numbers, a percentage for each server would be cool... including EU. -
It also looks like your game is not properly installed or you are using an older version of CoH_Helper. The results for the registry should not look like that.

Not getting to the full 10 bars of XP doesn't have anything to do with the leveling pact. If you happened to log out with debt, the patrol XP will cancel out the deb when you log back in 10 days later, and your resulting patrol XP will be less than what you might expect. You actually did get 10 bars when you logged in, but the debt was removed before you saw it.
If that's not what's happening, then I am not sure why you are getting different results. -
Quote:It doesn't assume you are AFK, it just assumes you are not paying attention to the chat, and tells the person sending you messages not to take it personally if you don't answer right away.Ah, yeah that would explain it. I frequently talk while looking at the Team Member search window. I select names, and then requests to team....and since team window is open, it assumes i'm AFK?
LAME.
I like the idea, but I don't like the way it was implemented. It's way too sensitive. I'd rather it only happened while working on fullscreen windows like enhancements, respecs, ID Card, Costumes. To go one step further, include that in the message: [AUTO-REPLY -- At the Tailor]. -
I'm not trying to rain on anybody's parade. I'm certain the people are really having issues, but I'm having none at all. This suggests to me that the game servers themselves are functioning normally. This might be a case of one of the nodes inbetween having a problem. It wouldn't be the first time that has happened.
To give a little more information for comparison, I live in the Boston area using a Comcast cable connection. I frequent Champion and Freedom. -
Quote:Microsoft stopped their mainstream support for Win2k on 6/30/2005, and the extended support will end on 7/13/2010.July 13, 2010 is approaching quickly(Win2k support is over)...might be time for an upgrade.
Even support for Windows XP ends on 4/8/2014. We probably have a couple more years until that drops off he list.
As for Windows 7, that doesn't end until 1/14/2020. haha -
The market is certinaly back online, and I must say this is the most people i've seen gathered at the market on a Tuesday morning. lol

Quote:As mentioned, [Suppress Pain] is +regen, not a heal. What you are seeing in your combat attributes is correct.Mutter... yep, yer right, I am mixing things up. I did actually mean Suppress Pain. Sigh.
Anyway, the description reads that's its a toggle, PBAOE, Ally +Regeneration.
When I run it, I don't see anything in my Combat Window that would indicate it is doing any thing for me.
However, the Attributes window shows an increase of regeneration from 3.x to 8.x.
Also, when I'm teamed with someone else who is running Suppress Pain, I can see the heal in my combat window from them, but still not my own.
So does Suppress Pain work on self or not?
The heal you are seeing in your combat window from your teammates is likely from a [Soothing Aura], which is the Corrupter version that uses the same power icon and visual effects.
Edit:
Geez, scooped by the OP! lol -
We toughed it out and played this weeks TFs at a higher difficulty.
Level: +2
Rule of Three: 53:18
Dam Hero: 58:49
The Team:
Teal Tabby (Tanker)
General Gintoki (Tanker)
Radiant Auura (Defender)
Takeo (Defender)
Golden Gryphon (PB)
Rick Revenge (Blaster)
I admit I ran the new Posi already on MB, but it was fun to run it again on a larger team this time. Having the difficulty raised was refreshing as well. I was getting tired of all this easy stuff. haha See you all next week!
I'm so glad the difficulty works on TFs again.. time to start up some +3 "Kill Everything that moves" ITFs again! -

Quote:IIRC, most, if not all of the servers were involved in that upgrade. You are correct that a yellow status before would show up as green on today's hardware, so looking at the color status alone would bring somebody to an incorrect assumption.... but there actually has been a population shift recently. I know quite a few people from Freedom that have been playing on other servers a lot. Large groups of us even went and made SGs on other servers and have scheduled events from time to time. The freedom server got an equipment upgrade to reduce the stress on it that is why it is not always yellow. It is not accurate to compare it now with prior to the upgrade to use it to measure population change.
That, and if you click on a different server at the server selection screen, then go back and look.. Virtue is now at the bottom of the list and Freedom is right above it. It used to be the other way around, meaning Virtue holds the highest and Freedom is probably not far behind.
That's without even factoring the number of people that have actually left for other games. I know quite a few of them as well. Sure, some of them might still play CoH on top of the new game, but it's more casual, rather than every chance they get.
We have still had many new subscribers. The problem is they are all AE-babies with 100 lvl 50s thinking they know everything about the game even though they know very little. Because of this, they get bored easy, and move on to another game faster. -
Quote:I agree that door seems odd, but I still think you are crazy about the clickables being tied to it... but I humor you anyway. hahaYou know what bugs me? That big Devouring Earth cave door off to the west, south of Point Du Hoc. Seems like that door was built for some reason we haven't figured out yet. Hell, I even had MB click on the aforementioned hotspots to see if maybe the door would unlock or something, no dice.

There is more than one building in the Hollows that has a "Pinnacle Apartments" Billboard. I went to the wrong one at first as well. Check your /loc to verify you are in the correct spot. If you are all the way on the West side of the Gulch.. you are in the wrong spot. If you are all the way on the East side of the Gulch.. you are in the wrong spot.
If you head in the direction of where the Green, Yellow and Red areas meet on the map, you are sure to see it. (At the north of the Gulch, not the river) -
Quote:I think that's where the misunderstanding came from. It wasn't just because they asked for it, but because it was apparently the reason that person sent in the report to begin with.I could have sworn I read a post by Positron on the old forums where Bug Hunter was being discuessed, and he mentioned that there had been a few times he was going to award someone Bug Hunter, until he got further in the missive, and saw they asked for it, and that made him change his mind...
*cough* -
-
I believe the change was as of this issue. We've recently had posts of people not being able to get certain "real" Story arcs because they needed to go back and re-do old ones.

Quote:With the new version, my "Medium?" has turned into "High". I checked registry and it is also 3.Here's my latest. I looked at my registry entries and ShaderDetail is at 3. Not sure what's going on.
And now it shows as High, even though that wasn't one of the settings I changed earlier. All I changed was turning FSAA to 2x instead of Off. Curiouser and curiouser. -
OK, so just ignore the fact that I still have SP2 and an old Video driver. I'm lazy. haha
Anyway the only thing I'm confused about is this:
Quote:I use High detail.Shader Detail: Medium?

Quote:Just like the Bios, each character's binds are also stored on the server. This mean the keys will function the same no matter which computer you use.In the same vein, where are my characters' binds stored at?
The only exception to this is that you can copy a character's current binds to a file on your computer by using the /bindsave (or /bindsavefile) command. You can then use that file (or other custom files) to load the same binds onto another character using the /bindload (or /bindloadfile) command. -
