Instead of having everybody quit the team, just have everybody else try to call the contact. Even if they don't have the star, the contact will usually still talk to somebody.
I know it doesn't fix the problem, but that might make it a little easier for you in the meantime. -
There are a couple boats in that location. Both of them are stationary objects (like a buoy), so they don't count. We're referring to the ones that are actually traveling in the water.

The name of the window (or at least an alt name for it) is simply "Incarnate".
/toggle Incarnate
/bind KEY "toggle Incarnate"
/macro NAME "toggle Incarnate" -
I can sorta understand if you were trying to join one of the new TFs, (Tin Mage or Apex), because those are "Incarnate TFs", but I don't see any reason why you wouldn't be able to join any of the older TFs. LGTF and ITF have been very popular lately for the specific reason of earning shards.
On a side note, it's not just "High level AV missions" that have shards. Any lvl 50+ foe has a chance to drop a shard. Granted, it's a very slim chance, but that's why TFs make it easier. More people and more killing increases your ability to get more shards... but you can still get them doing your standard radio or tip mission as well.
Furthermore, other events such ad Mothership Raids and Hami raids have proved good sources of shards as well... neither of which require you to already have an alpha slot either. -
Quote:Parked ones, yeah.. but not the ones sailing around. There should be a badge for actually trying to ride one of the hundreds of sail boats sailing around.
"Wannabe Sailor"
Despite your best efforts, you just can't seem to get a grip on the art of sailing.
I just tried it for the heck of it.. no dice! -
Quote:Thank you TJ. That's pretty much it right there. Veteran slots are no different than purchased slots. The point is the store keeps track of where you've claimed them, for the possible reasons I gave above. Even the original 12 slots are never "Empty" on the server. It's just the client knows enough that everybody would always have at least 12, so it still allows you to create that many regardless of Store server status. So how do you explain it temporarily removing Veteran slots?
In fact it will disable all slots (if they are empty) back to the point of the original twelve that we had with the merge of CoH/CoV...

Check your Inactive tab to see if there actually is some arcs you forgot to finish off. If there is, you'll unfortunately have to switch back to clean up.
On the bright side, after you clean up an arc or two, you'd be able to do Mender Ramiel on Villainside while you are waiting for your cooldown to come back to Heroside. -
If Freedom doesn't need a merge, then why post this on the Freedom forum? If you want a team, you seem to already know where to go. Some people like the quiet. Many of us have alts that play on other servers as well depending on how we feel or who we're playing with. Why resurrect this thread from last year?

Quote:Besides buying characters one way or another, there are other reasons why...I always wondered why it wasn't possible for accounts under the same master account, but I guess people would still use it to buy characters.
Even though two game accounts may be under the same master account, they still have their own separate game permissions. For example, you may have bought an add-on pack for one game account, but not the other. Why should you be allowed to move characters back and forth between accounts and get the benefit from the pack?
Veteran rewards are also separate. One account might be 70+ months, so what would happen if you built a character with the Travel power at lvl 6, then transferred it to an account that was only 12 months old? What about the other veteran powers or costume pieces that were claimed along the way?
Basically, each game account is still unique in it's own way. I can't see them ever allowing transfers, even within the same Master Account. -

Try opening the Keymapping options and click on one of the options, then press the button you want to check. It should then tell you the name of that button right on the list.

Not for nothing, but not everybody plays this game based on (Rewards/Time).
Not changing the merits was an oversight, yes.. but killing the TF, no. -
Quote:Gratz!I went on a badging binge on my fire tank last week and got him from 550ish badges to 751 badges. I may eventually crawl my way to 900+ when I get into the badging mind frame again. Still not sure I'll every attempt to get over 1000 much less 1100.
I remember back in the day when I only had about 325 badges, and I said I'd never make it to 500... lol -
As mentioned, check elevator areas and the balcony in that one room. Make sure to check side-rooms too. I've seen a couple show up behind a table in a couple of those. You might not see him at first glance.
As for the one we mentioned before located behind the boss.. it turns out he's not always there. The last time I ran it, I ended up with all 12 before I even got to the boss room, so just check everywhere along the way. I've never had to backtrack any floors to find them though. As far as i can tell, they only spawn on the floors AFTER the first boss you defeat, but I guess anythign can happen.
If the target bind isn't helping, try using the option I mentioned above (/optionset ShowVillainname 1). That should help significantly. You'll see their names right through the fire from down the hallway. -

Quote:I'm gonna have to say that makes no sense at all. Why give us a 3rd free respec just because we now have a 3rd build? You don't have to respec a build that was never there to begin with. Just build it! haha
Well.. why complain? I'm sure somebody will use it for something. -
Quote:LOL I dunno man. I could swear it was you asking about it in RF. There was talk about wanting to respec out of a particular power, and substituting a different one, but being undecided... so I suggested maybe trying it on the new 3rd build and if you don't like it you can always pick your first build again. Then you mentioned not having enough money to slot a whole extra build over again.o.O
Weren't me. I only logged in for 10 minutes on Weds, not at all on Tuesday. On Weds, I was on a level 12 in praetoria and never chatted with anyone.
There are dopplegangers of PLAYERS now too, not just characters?
Someone go give Aeon a beatdown just on principle. Even if he's not behind this!
Whoever it was thought I was joking about the 3rd build and left to go look for proof in the patch notes.
If it really wasn't you.. then my bad! -
Quote:I've noticed this same thing. My Hero toons have been able to use the Resistance Exit in Neutropolis underground, but is not able to turn around and go back down it. My Villain toons can exit the underground using the Loyalist spot.Oddly, my villain controller (who started in Paragon City) has been able to use a Loyalist exit from the Imperial City or Neutorpolis Underground (can't recall which off hand), despite being denied the resistance exit.
I haven't tested other loyalist doors yet.
It's quite strange. -
Quote:The successful MoTin that I was on used Force Bubble + nukes as well. I wouldn't be surprised if it got nerfed in some way.. because that was way too easy.. especially since I got "Master of" from the first time I even ran the TF.I've not needed nukes for CoP, but the team I've heard of having successfully gotten MoTM were using Force Bubble + Nukes. My assumption would be that any knockback would affect the invis mobs, but that latest patch may have borked that.
FWIW, we took a trip back to Warburg and used the nukes on BM for an easier MoApex afterward as well. lol -
Quote:I think the reason it's done this way is because it would prevent the Store from allowing you to claim more slots than allowed. Why they store which extra slots are assigned to which server over on the store server is beyond me. It probably have something to do with keeping payment info separate from the game database. When you select a server the game server queries the store for number of unassigned slots and number of assigned slots for that server.
Yes, it's not ideal. Chance of them revamping the system soon, probably not anytime soon.
I think the root of the problem here is that there is actually no such thing as an open slot on the server. A slot doesn't exist on the server until a character is created. Therefore it's up to the client to create the character and simply add it to the population, but it can't do that without the Store's permission (telling the client that you have purchased a slot there).
Deleting a toon doesn't actually create an open spot, it just removes the character from the server. As mentioned, the client probably calculates how many free slots you have based on what the Store tells it you bought, so when the store is down, it can't relay that information to the client, and you can't make a new toon, whether one was just deleted or not. -

Back on Topic, I finally got a chance to do some i19 content with Robin, so she is now part of the 1100 club.
Current totals:
Master-Blade 1166.
Teal Tabby 1167.
Robin Rogue 1139. -
Quote:How are they going to get any Praetorian contacts at all? The OP said this:Also, you will either have to work as a Loyalist infiltrator, working undercover in the Resistance. Once you're 'undercover' you should get more and more Resistance contacts, and gain access that way.
As mentioned, there are entrances that everybody always has access to anyway. -
There are several other ways to get underground (3 in each zone). Check your map options to make sure you see the red dots on the map for Underground Access. Everybody has access to those.
