Cross- account character transfers?
No.
They ALL float down here. When you're down here with us, you'll float too!
@Starflier
I always wondered why it wasn't possible for accounts under the same master account, but I guess people would still use it to buy characters.

Even though two game accounts may be under the same master account, they still have their own separate game permissions. For example, you may have bought an add-on pack for one game account, but not the other. Why should you be allowed to move characters back and forth between accounts and get the benefit from the pack?
Veteran rewards are also separate. One account might be 70+ months, so what would happen if you built a character with the Travel power at lvl 6, then transferred it to an account that was only 12 months old? What about the other veteran powers or costume pieces that were claimed along the way?
Basically, each game account is still unique in it's own way. I can't see them ever allowing transfers, even within the same Master Account.

Have to agree with your reasonings.

It is a shame, though. I'd love to combine my two accounts into one. I started the other one before we could buy more characters slots, which aren't that abundant EU side. I'd much prefer only paying for one account and buying extra slots when needed.

I did the same. Bought two accounts before expanded slots. So when we could expand slots, what did I do. I just made MORE characters. (insert evil laugh). Now that we can bring villian AT's to blueside, I have 80+ characters that I want all to be in my virtue HG (for storage and transportation).

So I will be purchasing my third account here shortly. :-(
Something you could try would be to save all her costumes at the tailor and just copy the costume files over from HER costume folder to YOUR costume folder and re-create her toon on your account, since you NOW have her costume files. Again, you would essentially be RE-CREATING her toon and leveling her back up again but in a sense, you DID just move her toon from her account to yours. Just saying =P

Costume files are saved in a generic Costumes folder in the CoH directory. They are not in the account sub-folders or linked to an account in any way.

Basically, all that's needed is to save them from her toon, and relog onto the other account to load them onto a new toon. You don't even really need to know where the files are stored, let alone have to copy them anywhere.
The problem here being the OP said they were down to 1 account, so i assume her account is not active anymore, so copying the costumes might not even be an option at this point unless they resub again, wait 90 days for a "invite a friend back" code, or until there is another free activation weekend.
On a side note, account sharing is technically against the rules anyway, but I wont tell anybody.
Okay, So, obviously there is no up-front automatic thing for this. But anyways my girlfriend and I bother like this game and play together. Well, long story short, we are now down to one account and she wanted one of her characters onto my account? Is this possible? They are both under the same Master account, if that helps any.
