why would a lead out for the 2nd mission kill the TF? I would be more upset that a the change was not included in the patch notes. If it was I missed it.

Can you use ATT to TP the hostage and the rest of the team to the front door?

Can you still use ATT in the Moonfire TF to teleport that doctor to the front door?

It would kill it (and yes kill is an exaggeration) because it takes so much longer so the merit to time ratio isn't very worth it.

We did try to AtT, but we didn't have success.

Not for nothing, but not everybody plays this game based on (Rewards/Time).

Not changing the merits was an oversight, yes.. but killing the TF, no.

So yet another not so trivial change that missed the patch notes. I guess they figured with everyone scrambling to get Shards and run Incarnate stuff, no one would notice?

Agreed, Katie was fun to use and abuse but I don't mind steamrolling out of another map. Just Att the team to her and steamroll back to the door. Thats what, 5-10 tops.

If you want the merits changed start a thread about new average times for TFs. Just don't be upset if this burns some of the heavily run favorite. Personally I would just say eh and enjoy it for the fun quick TF that it still is.

Why would they?

Merit rewards are based on the average time of completion of the TF, which they datamine to determine. Since I'm guessing not a whole lot of people have run it with the lead out part added, they don't have enough information to determine if, and how much, the merit reward should be raised.

If it takes a significant amount of time more, they will probably raise the reward. if it doesn't they probably won't. I highly doubt it will get higher than 12 merits or so though.

Players still going to run it, at least once per character. This TF is required for Geas.

What makes me wonder tho, is that devs changed RSF couple issues ago to get rid of retarded escort... and now they added retarded escort into KHTF. WTF?

She seems exceptionally annoying. For some reason you can't even target her. Leading a hostage like this out of caves is fraught with the AI getting stuck repeatedly.

It's not really the idea of what was done here that's annoying, it's (a) the reality of the implementation and (b) that there was no patch note.

And I'm sorry, but I'm going to preemptively state anyone who responds to (b) with "but it was an exploit" is full of crap. Stealthing to the end of a map is not an exploit of the sort that calls for the devs to make a change sans patch notes. This isn't the sort of change they've intentionally done that for before, either. I'm guessing it got missed in the patch notes. That's bad, because it's extremely likely no one in beta tested it - why would they? That means no one gave feedback on the wonky hostage AI.

They got of the LRSF escort because it kept glitching.
They added the KHTF because it should increase completion time, and eventually the reward.
The LRSF escort was specifically bugged in a way that most are not and couldn't be reliably fixed.
