I'm wanting to give Scrapping another go but I'm unsure what set to choose.

A quick rundown.

My 1st scrapper was DM/Regen. I love this guy! From the 1st moment Smite hit at level 2 this guy has felt powerful. Even with only 4 main attacks he's always been a beast.

But, Regen as you know, requires you to be paying attention constantly. I decided I wanted to roll up a more robust Scrapper so...

Over the years I've tried;
Claws/Regen
Broadsword/WP
Kat/SR
Kat/WP
Elec/Elec
Kin/SR

All of them stalled around the mid 20's though, as they just felt very weak compared to my DM. Since I mainly play Blasters I love extreme damage. Claws was the worst, I felt like I was slashing air with all the damage I was doing at 26 with fresh SO's. Electric seemed promising but just wasn't providing that same 'OOmmpf' that I got from DM.

So...

In your expert opinions, Is there a set/combo I haven't tried but would fit my style? Should I stick with one of the above and focus on IO's?

I was debating rolling up a War Mace/? since I've heard it hits like a mack truck but I'd also like suggestions on the best pairing, if that is the consensus on a set I'd enjoy.

Well, that's just from March - August. The rest of the time the entire store is filled with Christmas decor and merchandise.

I recall Jack being adamant about us not being 'SuperHeroes' and instead just Heroes.

I think his 'vision' was SuperHeroes can't die, therefor we couldn't be Super.

Then again, there is the whole DC™ issue.

What Badges can you get on Exalted that you can't on the others?

I keep telling my friends, give it a few more years and Wal-Mart won't even bother changing it's stock. They'll just end up having all Holiday stuff out year round. 2 Isles for Halloween, 1 Isle for V-Day, 2 isle for Christmas/Thanksgiving.

With the appropriate Holiday getting expanded on if it is within 4 months of it.

Wonder how we'd feel if we didn't even have the option to buy it NAO. If it was attached to the old Vet Rewards, as the 90 month reward. Then it would truly be out of reach for most.

Still not saying I agree with putting such a lust worthy set so out of reach for most, just giving reasons why it could be. If we saw the Celestial set running around as much as we're seeing Rocket Boards, it would kind of deflate the significance of the set.

I don't currently have any Incarnates as far as the endgame is concerned. However, of the toon's I have only a few really make sense to go the incarnate route.

Renewal of Ra would make sense, he's the embodiment of the essence of Ra, brought back by the well as one of it's temporal champions.

I can see him going the Incarnate route, eventually.

Hmm, currently he's the only one I'm playing that would even make sense having that kind of power.

Maestro Morbidus - Necromancy/Dark Miasma.

He was a dark sorceror who died in the late 1700's. Using his magic, he was able to 'trap' the essence of Demons within him, absorbing their power in the process. Once he trapped enough demons within himself he was able to escape back into the realm of the living.

Us 'casual' players usually don't have many 50's. Even less of us actively play our 50's.

Casual players tend to have lots of alts stalled around the 30's. We play casually, like 4 hours a week casually...

I'm 3 tokens into filling tier 8... Even that has Celestial feeling out of reach for me. Shame to, so many toons could use some of those pieces...

Though, it does have me curious. With such an extravagant initial offering, I can't imagine what's going to replace it when it gets rotated.

Started playing 3 days before issue 4 went live. Been here ever since!

Went to wally world to pick up UO at a friends request. Saw Statesman in the corner of my eye and picked up the box. The picture inside with the Hero flying high above a city... SOLD!

Broken forums are broken. I had to reset password just to even get back on after the 'update'. Now the remember me button might as well not exist.

I messed up...

I had about $20 I could spend on points this month. Instead of being smart and buying the 400 points package 1st time out, to get the reward token, and then buying the $15 package, to get another token. I bought the $15 package 1st.
So I think I jipped myself out of a token. Oh well.

I've got a related question. The way I interpret the power... I use Disintegrate, then one of my single target attacks to get the spread, keep following up with ST attacks until it spreads and then use AoE's.

My question is, will my teammates ST attacks trigger the spread? What if they are Beam as well?

I see nobody is looking to pair it with Kinetics. I've never played Corr's before but was thinking about trying Beam/Kin...

Should I maybe go with something else for reasons I'm unaware of?

This makes me curious about the dreaded 'n' word. No not that one.

So, with these new sets, what happens if they do turn out to be OP'd. Would the Dev's nerf them down like before now that they are being purchased individually? I would hope so, for overall balance reasons. I can just see a huge fallout compared to the normal deal, if everyone can post.

Next purchase here I come. After 7 years, I'm kind of tired of helping Hero1 get his stuff back.
