I offered to review one of their AE arcs on my show Friday, but they really weren't interested.
-
That should help clear some of this then. When you talk about Necromancy being inherently evil, I had gotten the impression that it's irredeemable. As far as Villains switching sides none of them have the ability to become the well loved Captain America types. Too many people will remember their violent crimes and their attempts at world domination.
-
Hm. I'm thinking there may be a communications breakdown somewhere. The way I'm reading your posts, it seems like you're arguing that Necro Masterminds shouldn't be allowed to cross over when Going Rogue hits. Is this a mistake on my part?
-
It should be pointed out that not everyone that gains the 'Hero of the City' badge is the kind that would stand in front of City Hall and get keys to the City. We already have several Heroes that would, if the civilian AI were better, would terrify the Citizens of Paragon as much as the Criminals. Hero Necro would just be an extension of that.
At that point, they've done great things, but they want no reward, because it's all penance for thier past crimes, or they realize that the populous wouldn't be willing to give out the rewards, based on horrific appearance, frightening aura, or the scabrous corpses hanging around. -

(i'm not adding a quote but lol this is probably one of the best 'face to face plants' I've ever seen.)
[/ QUOTE ](I'm not either, but I had one that topped this. Instead of Face to face, the poor defender was face-to-crotch.) -
If this is a party, where are the Giant Monsters?

For those of you that don't venture out of this forum much, there's a radio station that bases itself largely out of Protector, KJSR, on which I happen to be a DJ. My show, ever since the Architect has come out, has bee a live review of player generated arcs, with heavy rock/metal music.
Now in a bit of coincidence, the requests for review have dried up right at the same time my server gets an invite from yours to come play in your back yard, so I thought I'd take the opportunity to offer a review an arc by one of y'all.
I look for at least one of three things in arcs I review: Challenge, Story, or Humor. More than one of those is fine, but I prefer arcs with at least one of the above. The only limitation is my two hour time slot. Well, that and the fact that I will be attempting the arc on my Virtue M I, which is only level 1, so please keep that in mind.
The show is Friday between five and seven Eastern, so if you're interested in a live review of your arcs let me know here. -

Has anyone tried the new coke and pepsi with real sugar instead of corn syrup? I am curious if they really taste better.
[/ QUOTE ]Mike Abrahms. Protector Server. Assistant Station Manager, KJSR.net
I actually can't tell a difference between the two brands, much less real or fake sugar. I'm told that's kinda the point, though. Somethin' about not needing fake stuff to taste good. -
The big question I have is whether or not the Epic ATs can cross. If so, I've got a Peace Bringer and a Crab Spider that will be weaving across the morality line like a drunk at a sobriety test after a three day bender.
-
Well, it seems like the length of the arc is more how much of the 100K limit is used up. I've seen 15 minute missions marked as 'Very Long just because they used a detailed custom group.

Hello.
I see you.
Are you still there?
Target lost. -

can't you fake this with red dots on boxing shorts or something?
[/ QUOTE ]I don't believe you can put patterns on the shorts. I could be wrong, though. -
I am indeed. I'm reviewing Sooner's arc this week, since there was no show last week. But if your arc is on the shorter side, I can try to fit it in.
-
*glee*
I do believe that's the first time I've been sigged. -
Who would have thought that the true moral dilemma wasn't "Good or Evil" but "Badges or Super Group"?
-
Depending on how easy it is to swap sides, my two Epic Characters may end up 'floating'. Jovian Fury and Claw of Doom both have migrated to being a Hero or a Villain just because it offers them some good fighting.

Honestly, I always thought the arguments for not doing it, were the silly ones.
[/ QUOTE ]I'll admit my argument for balance was largely arbitrary, but it was mainly to stave off the 'Villain Hate' argument. -
I have a Tank that accidentally became Ranged when he had the same number of Ranged attacks as he did Melee, counting The Nemesis VetStaff, Hurl, and both attacks from Energy Mastery.
-
With Going Rogue announced, the question arises, who among your characters would swap, and why? Or better yet, why not?
All of the Abrahmses (Original, Classic, and Evil) are too set in their minds to consider switching. They may be tolerant of the moral ambiguity of others, but they all believe that what they are doing is the right thing. (yes, even Evil Abrahms)
The announcement itself is a bit of funny timing, as I just released an AE arc about Professor Nutronious' ideas on the subject.
Crash Course, for some reason, has seemed like he may be taking a long look at the state of Paragon's lawn.
Operative McGavin has been a villain playing a Hero for two years now. The question is, does he want to get his Arachnos gear back.
DOStruction isn't necessarily evil, just paranoid. It will be interesting to see it's reaction to all this.
And just for laughs, let me throw this out there: The Heroic Thin Line. -
Sadly no. I think it might have been one of the recent test patch notes thread, but not 100% on that. Also, remember this was a player's guess. It just happened to be the one that made the most sense.

Arc Name: The Traitor's Test
Arc ID:161722
Morality: Neutral
Faction: Custom/Arachnos
Creator Global/Forum Name: @M_I_Abrahms
Difficulty Level: Moderate
Synopsis: Help a former Arachnos Spider uncover one of the conspiracies that made him betray his country. -
Well, the Devs themselves said Epic ATs as a reward for hitting 50 was a bad idea to begin with, though they suggested unlocking new ones with Task/Strike Forces in the future.

I've seen the name taken on three servers myself. As well as Mr President the Tank.
