Q: How do you wreck an Abrams?
A: You crash into another one.
I'm still working on the arc that I would want you to review...
Although you could review the one(s) that I've already put up.
"Goodbye, Jean-Luc. I'm gonna miss you... you had such potential. But then again, all good things must come to an end..." -- Q
You can review mine... Your Princess Is In Another Castle.
i like the idea, some of the arcs with better story's can definitely use more acknowledgement
It's a shame that you wrote "End of the Line"
I like how it builds on the existing fiction and character personalities.
That and the fact that some of my favorite characters are in it.
A few clowns short of a circus is pretty nice as well.
I am so behind on my Arc playing... and my arc building.

Dude, I'd LOVE you to review either of mine (numbers below).
I thought the rule was to recommend someone else's... and there are so many good ones, I couldn't pick!
Yeah, suggesting your own arcs is perfectly valid. One thing though, could y'all mention approximately how long they take so I know if I can fit more than one into a two hour show or not? I'd hate to leave a review unfinished.

S'not that, but I won't be playing MArcs for a while: there is still some stuff from Issue 11 that I haven't tried yet...

#4625 (Call me!) is a one mission story. It CAN be very fast, it's a click the glowy sorta thing. If you're in with a tank, and fighting your way there.. well.. it's CoT on a medium Oranbega map.
The Prism is a much longer one. 5 missions, however, each of them is stealthable to some degree or another. depending on how you go about it, this arc could take 15-30 minutes, or a couple hours.
I think that StormVy's arc ID 59821 "Villains just want to have fun" would be good to review.
I just ran it last night and really enjoyed it.
As for my arcs, I'd like to get "Fan Favorite' reviewed. While its not the best I really enjoy it. Takes about 10-20 mins to play. ID 44824.
Thanks to everyone that posted so far. I should have plenty for at least a couple weeks. I'm not going to hit up these arcs in order, and there are a few that haven't been mentioned that I want to try out.
I shoulod point out that you ARE going to have to listen to my show to see how your arc fares. Also, I'll be looking for a lot of the shorter arcs, to put together a 'lightning round' in the near future.

Review of Trickshooter's "A few Clowns short of a Circus"
This is an arc for the story readers. The challenge is low, but there is a lot of effort put into both the standard NPCs and Trick's custom group. Story progression is smoth and even, and there is a lot of effort put into the text. Suggest running with a team of fellow ne'er do wells (I'm sure I misspelled that).

Tonight was a busy show.
First off let's explain how my reviews work:
For me to give an arc a good review, it needs one of three things; either a compelling story, a good sense of humor, or a real challenge. It can have more, but it needs at least one of those three elements. Also, it's rough trying for more than one of those, because it's too easy for one aspect to over shadow the rest.
I'm going to be lenient in my reviews, largely because I don't feel comortable criticizing an author for limitations of the medium. If Arcs could be categorized by category, it would be easier to tell if the difficulty of an arc (for example) is intended.
Next, DJ PKs Arc:
This one is a silly arc. He did a very good job recreating the look and feel of the 'source' material. There were saeveral humerous jabs at the game in question, and he did a good job with adjusting the dritters to a humanoid build. Also, for those that have trouble with the tougher critters in the game, there's a little easter egg to help out.
Sooner's Arc:
This one is a Story arc. Again, a lot of work was put into the custom critters. Their look and powers really fit the feel of a malevolent 'Prism'. The best part for me was teh contact herself. Since it all starts out as a favor to a third grade Science teacher, Sooner puts forth the effort to show just how out of water the teacher is when she finds herself a Hero's contact.
Next week:
Another KJSR Dj has made a special request for a story arc:
Number 112345, "The Batavian War". It's a story arc by DJ Crypto, or @Globetrotter. Tune in to find out how it goes!

Thanks for taking a look at my arc, M_I.
M are you still reviewing arcs also when is your show?
Feel free to give "City of the Apes" a try. It will be easy for a tank to solo. I did it on my tank Flash-back lvl 30 with no problems.
I am indeed. I'm reviewing Sooner's arc this week, since there was no show last week. But if your arc is on the shorter side, I can try to fit it in.

I can listen to the show this week too!
I added an app to my PSP so I can stream KJSR to it at work
My MA Arcs: [29581 - A Knight to Remember] [107587 - Upgrade] [41834 - Construction Blues]
Playing on: Protector - Guardian - Victory
It is marked as "Very Long" as there is a defeat all in mission #3 and mission #4 can be a bit long as you need to find 5 bosses, in an open outdoor map.
Well, it seems like the length of the arc is more how much of the 100K limit is used up. I've seen 15 minute missions marked as 'Very Long just because they used a detailed custom group.

Arcs in this thread that I have missed:
71736: Breaking the Food Chain
28016; Intelligence Artificial
59821: Villains just want to have fun
44824: Fan Favorite
8772: Between Light and Shadows

Humm Metallica and doing things red side for your (5/29) show, nice mix.
Mission arc 44824: Formerly Fan Favorite, now titled Zero Entertainment: This one brings a new category to my reviews "Epic". The premise is simple. Almost all Signature Characters in one place, duking it out. The mission is Heroic, so States and crew (I think it's all of the Surviving eight) against Recluse, his Generals, THEIR Lieutenants, Sands AND Requium. At one point, the team I was on (Villains, humorously enough) were fighting four AVs at once.
One warning, though; since Allies in AE don't share rewards, the 'take' will be less than normal arcs
Mission arc 71736: Breaking the Food Chain:
This was a Villainous arc, largely revolving around the PTS. As such there's a largely Crimson-esque feel to the missions. I thought it appropriate here, given that the PTS is one of the major reveals in the early game for CoV. There is the potential for some major aerial battles, as the enemy group - to the last man - all fly, and the last two maps are both out doors.

As I said on the KJSR.net site, I tried something different with the show on 4-10. In addition to the usual music mix, I reviewed one of the many Player created arcs that are now available thanks to I14. Depending on the response, I plan on doing reviews like that every week.
However, to keep it fair, I plan on having the listeners select the arcs that I will review, so if you have an arc you want to hear talked about on my show, or know of an arc that you think could use some more publicity, go ahead and mention it here, along with the creator's Global and the Arc ID so I can find it for the show.
-----
As far as the April 10 show, the arc reviewed was Acid_Zero's "Welcome to Architect Entertainment", a Dev Choice arc. The arc story is clever, with an ending open enough for a potential sequal. There are several clever references to the meta-game, and a coherent plotline. The Custom critters are clever, and it's note worthy that it's one of the few arcs I've seen that actually acknowledge the Virtual Reality nature of the MA.
However, be prepared for a difficult fight. The combinations of powers, both debuffs and End drain, were able to pick aparn my tank on more than one occasion during the run.
