    hyperinflation

there were a few periods of time where rare salvage of all flavors cost 500k-1.2m. That was during an ae exploit period. "Normal" prices for rares, post ae, range from 800k to 2 million. Pre ae costs were 500k-800k for tech and 3-5m for arcane.

Currently we are at an elevated cost period following dbl xp, and the incarnate content is skewing salvage generation and inf earnings.
  3. No that takes too much bean counting to manage - I'm surprised I tied this time, I figured I'd be a few higher or lower.
  4. I'm telling ya we need to do this on all servers!!!
  5. I have tied the top SG in prestige....now how do I post the screenshot here ?
  6. I wonder if they are planning a second season or not, given that both "sides" now know about the other's secrets. Where will they go for a longer arc if they wrap it up this season?
  7. the inf. for shifting idea is cool. I'd also support dev seeding of items on the market. Why ? Because it would take out 100% of a transaction instead of just 10%. If you've got 100% of some transactions leaving the population and randomly inserted dev seeding, we should see greater price fluctuations and eventually some lower prices.

Yes I'm aware this would be an increase in supply, no simply increasing drop rates is not a better idea. Increasing drop rates does not remove 100% of the influence spent on acquisition.

Another idea is to offer a setting that generates lower influence earnings but greater chances for drops. Alternately there could be a temp power at a fixed price that increases drops while its active.
  8. just take over ever sg rank on every server.

The point of the highlighting is similar to the show Chuck, in which Chuck 'flashes' the necessary information to handle the obstacles he is facing. Kato has high reaction times which lets him process information faster - we get to see this as a slow mo effect that points out what Kato is seeing and gives clues to his next moves. It's not done just so the audience sees the weapon etc.

Due to the similarities to Chuck, I wouldn't have bothered with it that effect if I were filming/directing but there ya go.

    Chuck 1-17-11

At least this time it makes some amount of sense - Chuck would always have one last tether to the darker side of the spy world if his mom is still out there with Volkov, so Sarah wants to remove that obstacle.

    Chuck 1-17-11

I think most people did, given beckman's insistence on sarah doing the drop and sarah's talk with her prior.

    Market UI Tweaks

I'd like to see the effect of having a screen that shows enhancement and recipe next to each other for comparisons. More lazy or less lazy, how would people be ? Profit margins gone ? higher ?
  13. that's over a billion a week - definitely not poverty level.
  14. I make between 1 and 4 billion in a week depending on volume of sales and occasional tickets rolled in bronze 15-19.
  15. I dropped out of respec recipes about july or so when I was flipping them at 165 to 200-250 with seemingly no competition. Currently they look like 150-190 with someone(s) in the niche, which is just too small a margin to bother with for the cost of trying to wiggle your way in when the top price is 175-190. You'd end up trying to up the price but then the other guy would list lower than your attempt to raise it and undercut you.
  16. I'm at 4th rank and about 27 billion influence away from first spot on guardian.

We should take over all the small servers and then go for the big servers. Why no go for the bigger ones first ? To build suspense!
  17. it's generally only useful against non s/l/psi damage users because your resistances in to f/c/e/n/t are around 30%, which is about a wet cardboard armor's worth (slightly more than wet paper bag).

I'd recommend grabbing the wedding band temporary power over picking unstoppable however.
  18. I think decimations, kinetic combats and rectified recticle were selling at 80-120m and only cost 1 HM instead of the 2 for a lotg. Granted if you sell the lotg for 200m or more then it's likely going to be better. I'd still double check before defaulting to lotg though.

    Issue 19.5

Black Pebble to the rescue! Good work BP!
  20. Well my dark tank has +def from lots of set bonuses, so the extra amount from -tohit certainly has it's place.

Consider that I can stand in a mob from the Cathedral of Pain (high psi damage) and live indefinitely with CoF up, but die pretty quick when I turn it off.
  21. There's one active member of Crazy 88s on this server! And once I topple the top spot - I don't see them keeping up with me.
  22. I thought Eureka was canceled when I saw ad spots for Human Target. Then I managed to not keel over of a heart attack when I found out that Colin != Mike.
  23. the lazy influence is in the big cost items. You can earn just as much, if not more, doing high volume niches.
  24. I generally advise against such an investment if it's a large amount of your total influence. Take a week or two and work a high volume niche that can earn you another few hundred million ( Positron's Blast for example).

This way you don't sink your battleship before it gets out of port.
