For me just taking pieces we have and making new, higher res versions would go a long way.

-New Folded Boots/Gloves with better textures, maybe add a couple of wrinkles in there to make them look more realistic.

-Over the Shoulder Cape needs work. From the front this cape looks terrible. It's just a block of color around the neck and shoulders with no shading, looks really bad. Add a couple of options for this cape. Such as the one we have now (straight across the chest) and one that comes to a point at the neck (ala Batman).

I may be remembering this wrong, but didn't I hear a dev once say that Kinetic Melee came from an attempt to revamp to revamp Energy Melee? They had all these ideas for new animations and a new mechanic (Power Siphon I assume) and decided to make a new set out of those ideas instead.

Woot, got my Tits/WP (that's the official abbreviation everyone, take note) Brute rolled and even got a sewer trial done in the 10 minutes before the servers went down!

I've been struggling with a concept for my Titan Weapon character since they announced TW, getting access to the first of the Celestial costume yesterday inspired a godlike character and I even got a cool name; "Godbreak". The atomic mace is pretty awesome and fits the character to a tee, I'll try to get some pics up once the servers are back.

My VIP was listed as Playable Through December 1st, I used "Extend VIP" to add another month today (December 1st). As I never actually "lost" VIP I should be fine for this, right?

Sorry about the delay in responding. So I just now was able to get an updated Mids downloaded what with the Titan Network being down and import your build to take a look at it. Wow! Thanks for the work you put into this, I made a couple of minor changes, just to get some powers I like that weren't included but overall this thing is perfect.

I'm working on getting the sets in-game and have already respecc'd into this. Thanks again!

Hi everyone, just got my Street Justice/Energy Aura Scrapper Turboman to level 47 and I'm ready to start working on his final build. There is a thread on SJ/EA a few pages back, but the builds there aren't really my style.

I'm completely at a loss when it comes to Mids, I seriously suck at putting together a decent build. So build sages, I beseech thee..or something.

Here's what I'm looking for:

-Super Jump
-Budget of roughly 2 billion (would like to avoid a lot of costly purples or PVP IOs for now)
-Not a fan of Overload, if its needed as a set mule that's cool, but I don't like crashing Tier 9s.
-Fireball is a must.
-Can't think of anything else right now, will update if I can.

That is without a doubt the cutest glitch I've ever seen.

This could be an easy moneymaker for the devs. Call it Power Customization 2.0, it unlocks Epic and Power Pool customization and costs 800-1200 points. People would crash the store trying to buy it so fast.

Warslinger - Beam/Rad Corruptor - Planning on taking only the absolute "must have" powers from Rad and focusing on Beam, which it kinda demands anyway. I'm sure Beam will work fine with busier sets like Time, but it was way too clicky for me.

Chronalist - Time/Sonic Defender - Sonic is definitely OP for Defenders, but I went with it because in its Original form its graphics mesh really well with Time Manipulation for simulationing a "Time Blast" look.

Turboman - Street Justice/Energy Aura Scrapper (or Brute, not sure yet) - Reroll of a Fire/WP Scrapper.

Consel - Katana/WP Brute - Brute with a Katana AND wearing a business suit, why not!

Nightslinger - Dark/Dark Blaster - Finally scored this name on Virtue, woot! As you probably guessed, this is my main character Lightslinger's mirror/arch nemesis.

This story really got to me. Yes, there are worse things going on in the world right now, but this really got to me.

This problem is definitely getting worse for me as well. It almost never happens on my work computer, but on my home PC and iPad it happens multiple times daily.

It's too "matchy" no need to jar the scenes every. single. beat.

As long as I can remember I've been a huge Superman fan and regarding the new suit...



I kinda like it. Yes the blue is a bit too dark but I for one am glad they finally got rid of the circus strongman outside underwear.

Who knows what that suit will look like on screen? Every shot I've ever seen of the Batman Begins or Dark Knight suit have looked terrible but they look great on screen. Cinematography and lighting change a LOT of stuff, the suit most likely wasn't intended to be viewed in poorly lit spy shots.

This costume (though quite a bit brighter) is the norm in comics now, if they stick with it I can see the trunksless version becoming the iconic costume for a new generation.

So here's to hoping this movie rocks and in the sequel they tweak the costume by removing the webbing and making the blue brighter, other than that I'm fine with the changes.

Slight derail but there's been at least some Blackest Night talk so far...

Am I the only one who likes the multiple Lantern corps now? Even when I was younger I always assumed there were other Corps, why else would the Green Lanterns have to put "Green" in there at all? If they were the one and only Corps and there could be no other they would simply be the "Lanterns".

Sure not all of Blackest Night was great but I've always wanted there to be a Blue Lantern and now they just need to work on making Kyle a Blue Lantern and all will be well.

I'm pretty sure I remember reading a synopsis from an EU book that talks about a spaceship from Earth going through a wormhole, traveling through time and space ending up in the "Star Wars" galaxies. The crew of that spaceship goes on to populate the entire Star Wars universe with humans. The book was supposedly written to explain why there are humans everywhere in Star Wars.

There's going to be a lot altitis going around when Freedom launches, use this thread to show off your new characters that will be saving/taking advantage of Galaxy City come i21. If you have any existing characters getting an i21 makeover show them off too!

Oooh, good time for a necro as this thread kind of fits a question I had but didn't want to make a whole new thread about.

How about Time Manipulation and the great Defender vs Corruptor debate? I'm considering Time/Ice and wondering if I should go Defender or Corruptor but can't make my mind up.

Very disappointed in the lack of That's What She Said jokes, c'mon people!

That aside, there are some parts of CoH that are somewhat challenging, but for the most part it's a pretty easy game.

I'm definitely rolling a Katana Brute and I'd originally planned on going Kat/Regen. I know Regen won't be OP but it sounded fun, now I'm thinking the redraw might get annoying. I know redraw doesn't effect gameplay that much, but it would still be annoying to be constantly redrawing after every click heal.

Now I'm thinking Katana/WP and maybe rolling up something Street Justice/Regen...going to be some bad alititis come i21.

The sheer level of SRS BSNS in this thread is amazing and awesome. "NO, YOU'VE RUINED THE INTEGRITY OF MY CUTSCENE, HOW ELSE WILL I APPRECIATE THE STATIC, VAPID FACES AND EXAGGERATED HAND GESTURES!?!?!?!"

I've done it, but only because my team finished the crates and there were only 3 acids left to go, had just enough time to get into position with /e newspaper. I would never just stand there while everyone else collected temps though, bad form. In other words, its a pretty rare scenario that you can pull this off while still contributing.

Also, if you take off right after the cutscene, the AV doesn't aggro at all, its like the AV isn't "active" for the first few seconds or something.

Here's to hoping they replace those cutscenes with the new comic intros ASAP, the cutscenes in this game deserve all the mocking and bombing they can get.

Was this in Sharkhead Isle? There's a thread there already where a few of us are experiencing this exact same thing but only on characters in Sharkhead, Virtue server.
